So my brother and I decided to head over to see if what I heard was true. I'm happy to report, it was very very good! Some things to note: They take cash only. They have an ATM inside just in case, but make sure you have cash only you before you go. Make sure you pay attention when traveling to this establishment, as there are many intersections, one way streets, and streets that go from two to one lane. Also, there may be someone who will ask you to get them some food. Once we parked the car, we heard the reggae music coming from their front door. You can't miss it. The menu is on the wall, as well as being taped down to the counter by the order window. If they're out of something they will let you know before you order. When I went they were out of oxtail (a highly sought after dish in Caribbean cuisine). I had the jerk chicken with collard greens, white rice, and macaroni and cheese. My brother ordered the fried whiting, but I guess she didn't hear him correctly (trust me the music there is quite loud inside even though it's even louder outside), because he got the same thing I did. Now, we drove home, the car smelling amazing, and I forgot to take some photos for this review. But even so, I will definitely be back. The food was excellent, the prices were decent, and the service was fast. If you're looking for an adventure, check out Jamaican D's!

Talk of the Town - Supposedly Jerk Chicken, but turned out to be dried burnt NASTY chicken. Very Nasty!

I used TOTT for a small dinner I hosted since my Caribbean food game in the kitchen isn't that great. I kept it simple with jerk chicken, curry chicken, and rice and peas. As they suggested when I called days ahead, I came in and ordered the day before and chose a pick up time. I arrived at 5:04 and my food was waiting for me and ready to go. That's good business.......prompt service. How was the food? As a person who grew up on authentic West Indian cuisine, I know good food when I see it. The food was spot on and worth the drive from one side of town to the other. The jerk chicken was moist and VERY flavorful with just enough spice. The curry chicken was so good, I could drink the gravy alone. I didn't....... I'm just saying. All of my guests wanted to know where I ordered from because they were impressed. As was I. The only issue I had was transporting the food back home. I wish they would have given me a box because the containers kept sliding in my car and the curry container still leaked even though the lady at the counter and myself checked to make sure it was sealed. All in all, I'd definitely recommend TOTT and I'll be back. And I'll take pictures of the food next time.

I figured they may have had a bad day so on 4/20/26, I went back to try the oxtails again, and again they were too tough. Please cook the oxtails for at least another 30-45 minutes. I'm not so sure I want to waste another $24 on their oxtails.
