This place is cute, quaint, and welcoming. There are a couple small things working against it, however, and one huge thing, the omnipresence of fragrances. We woke up at 3:30am trying to figure out the source of the nostril singing stench. Cleaning products and little dehumidifying boxes don't need to make a room smell like the inside of a stinky, fake, giant rose. That doesn't impress anyone. I don't mean to offend, but in all seriousness, there is no reason why my eyes should be watering just from sitting inside a room. My wife feels nauseous. As for those small things: early checkout. 10am. I'm an early riser, but 10am seems early to be booted out. And lastly, it's a little pricey, but the whole of Ireland seems to be out-pricing itself, especially in regards to accommodation, or should I say lack thereof? read more
