I have been to this store twice this month after looking on line to see what hours they are open. Both times the store was closed.

Why they chose snowbird season to close it down to upgrade power is beyond me. Never saw anyone working on the sites however. Would be nice to get some communication for visitors. Most sites had big rvs. Many were here for a very long time and they have a policy that allows that. Active duty gets priority over waitlist but most long terms I saw were not active duty. Traffic nearby outside of base can also get noisy with loud vehicles. I did hear someone complain about noise inside the base, called security and they said they couldn't do anything w/o catching them in the act. Base security was never seen by me. Maintenace folks ride around in gold carts and were visible. Sites are close but pretty normal. Bathrooms, showers, laundry clean. Laundry prices raised due to expenses incurred by patrons washing dog blankets with lots of hair reportedly. Office staff were Ok. Recommend and would stay here again.

As soon as I came in, I met the nicest and welcoming owner, Nick along with their female cashier and staff. Their freshly cooked dishes were delightful plus they give you good portions. Their desserts and pastries too were delicious as well. I can't wait to settle down and make this as my one stop home cook meals to go along with Filipino Grocery items.. They definitely deserves to be recognized for their friendly atmosphere and delicious cuisine... I highly recommend them! Definitely 5 Stars!

I was hoping to find a Filipino restaurant that I could start visiting regularly, and I genuinely want to support a small local business like this. I ordered Combo #6, which came with pancit and two entrées. One of the entrées I selected was the longganisa (2 pieces), but when I got home, I realized I had been given lumpia instead. My second entrée was the chicken adobo, but unfortunately, the pieces I received were almost entirely bone with very little meat. To top it off, the pancit was quite soggy, which made the meal even more disappointing. I'm hoping I simply caught them on an off day, because this wasn't the experience I was expecting. I'd like to believe this isn't representative of the food they normally serve. I haven't decided if I'll give them another try, but I'm rooting for Sari Sari and truly hope they succeed.

I get tired of seeing the same cuts of meat at my local grocery store and I am always on the look…read moreout for a good butcher or meat market. A friend told me about this place as he knows the owner as they went to college together and stated that the owner has several degrees in Meat Science. I went there and looked at all the cuts in the refrigerator section and noticed that he has some meats at the perfect refrigerated temperature so that you can purchase it and go straight home and throw it on your grill. I also noticed that someone had ordered a special cut and wanted him to age it for them and he had it behind glass at the temperature needed for the aging process. Was cool to see that meat aging. I bought two well marbled steaks and the size of them were perfect. I paid $20 for both! In my opinion that was a bargain. I grilled my steaks and boy was the flavor tasty and tender. The steaks cut like a knife going through butter. Next door from the meat section he has a counter where they can prepare and grill your purchased meat. I tried this service and the steak was grilled perfect and the French Fries on the side were delicious. I don't know what type of grease they use on the fries but they tasted delicious and crispy. The workers in the meat department and the cook were so nice and friendly. Stop in and make this your family meat market and if you want a steak grilled for you this is the place.

This is for the Lomo Grill section…read more Ordered a beef and cabbage burrito. The beef is definitely of a higher quality when compared with most restaurants and fast food joints. I did not encounter any stringy or infinitely chewable meat, and the beef itself is quite juicy. The burrito itself comes with an optional sauce packet, but it tastes juicy enough to hold its own without it. My only gripe is it's smaller and less nutritious than one you could grab at Chipotle. The rice, beans, vegetables, and guacamole options at chipotle contribute to a larger nutritional profile than just beef and cabbage at this location. It's also bigger at chipotle. My overall logic is this: If you're looking for a good quality beef burrito, you can grab one here because the quality of beef is worth the price increase and size reduction when compared to Chipotle. If you want a chicken burrito, stick with Chipotle.

I haven't been to many Walmarts. Pretty much this one and the one in Nogales sum up my knowledge…read moreof how these places are normally run. No, wait, I went to the one at El Con this last semester for a tri-fold board. It's not a place I frequent. But, they do have a good price on the dog food the vet recommended my dog eat, so I normally just come here to save a few bucks on dog food once or twice a month. However, on occasion, I will realize while I'm there that I'm out of __ or __, and pick up whatever it is as well. I don't think I have ever been asked if I needed help while I was there. This store just seems sort of yicky and mismanaged, and, in typical Walmart fashion, there will be one register open per 10 people in line to check out. I'm not expecting much here in the way of service, exactly, but it has become a little disappointing. My main reason for disliking this particular Walmart is the produce. I decided today, while I was in for dog food, that instead of going to Safeway tomorrow, I would just get my shopping done in one foul swoop. Today I found a whole lot of produce that had gone really, really bad, to the point that the lettuce had turned into the horrible brown chunky water (I'm sure everyone knows what I mean...who hasn't thrown a bag of lettuce into the back of their fridge and forgotten about it?). I picked through different lettuces, kales, spinachs, and spring mixes for a few minutes before I found one box of spring mix that hadn't gone bad. I also wanted a bag of broccoli/cauliflower, but every single one of them was browning. Not very appetizing. They have self check-out, which is what we normally go through and so we did tonight. The check out asked me to weigh my laundry soap (which is really weird), and then freaked out and wouldn't let me continue, all the while chanting "assistance is on it's way!" Well, I looked over and found assistance checking out her friends. I know they were her friends because she was chatting away and hugged them when they left. I was standing there for about three minutes (which is 2 hours and 25 minutes in "standing in line waiting for someone" years), and finally someone from the front of the store came and helped me, staring daggers at the woman who was supposed to be helping us. I know I will be back. This is close enough to my house that the gas I use doesn't outweigh the amount of money I get off the dog food by buying it here. I learned my lesson tonight, though, and will stick with Safeway when it comes to my actual shopping.
