We got here around 12 and there tables open, and after about 30 minutes a big party at the couches got up and we snagged their spots. Just a super comfy and welcoming space where you have no problem spending some time in! We opted for the brunch buffet and made an incredible decision!! The buffet was stacked with Euro classics like fresh baked breads, marmelades, and so many delicious cheeses and meats! Also there were many yummy salads, some with beans some with feta and tomatoes. (~8€) To drink, I told the super kind server to pick for me between black currant & rhubarb juice and he brought the black currant and wow amazing choice!! One of my now favourite juices. For some reason it didn't convinced me. I think it's their focus on being very hipster and lack of originality that bugs me most. None of the items on the menu made me say "wow that sounds great". It feels a bit dull to me. Also: The waiter were a bit confused on that day and took their time for our orders and forgot to bring us extra straws or napkins eventhough the asked for it. With the service it really depends who is serving. Some waiters are really nice and fast, others not really, so you can sometimes also wait quite a while to order. Usually we go for the schnitzel, but also all the other dishes we have tried have been good, especially the weekly specials are quite recommendable. One negative point is that they raised the prices this year and it really moved the place to a higer price range even though I cannot say that the environment or the food improved, so the raise would be justified.

Free Wifi made it a great place to be - though I kept getting kicked off every once in a while. The staff was very friendly and spoke some English (though I also made some effort in German. C'mon - not too hard to toss out a "danke schoen" and "tchuss"). I stayed here for about 2 1/2 hours working on my laptop; there was a large group of Russian tourists having lunch as well as Germans all around. I had 2 rooibos teas during that time - reasonably priced at a little over 2 euros each. This sunny, lively cafe is a stimulating place to work or friendly venue for a meal or coffee.
