I had a few hours to kill before I was able to check into my Airbnb stay at a local apartment. So, with my luggage and laptop bag, I plopped myself inside this cafe. Free Wifi made it a great place to be - though I kept getting kicked off every once in a while. The staff was very friendly and spoke some English (though I also made some effort in German. C'mon - not too hard to toss out a "danke schoen" and "tchuss"). I stayed here for about 2 1/2 hours working on my laptop; there was a large group of Russian tourists having lunch as well as Germans all around. I had 2 rooibos teas during that time - reasonably priced at a little over 2 euros each. This sunny, lively cafe is a stimulating place to work or friendly venue for a meal or coffee. read more

Nice service & atmosphere... Food is good : not amazing, but def not bad. Convenient & good lunch specials. Also the cocktails are decent. I'd recommend as a decent, vernünftige place to eat if you are in the area. But not as a true destination to travel to, for unforgettable food...lol. Americans, think: Applebee's. read more

They have free wifi and m-f till noon you can get the buffet breakfast for five euros and some change its full of options but the croissants are definitely the best ive had outside of Paris, seriously fresh, warm, buttery, soft and flaky. the seating selection is always good and they have a great selection of drinks and the servers though always busy are very cheery and friendly. Had the breakfast buffet here on a grey and rainy day in Berlin. It's good value, loads of choice and plenty to eat for 9.5 euro. Buffet runs until 2pm, so no need to rush to get out of bed. It has an outdoor area under umbrellas in the middle of the pedestrian street, and even today in the rain people are out there keeping dry, but a bit cooler than the stuffy inside of the cafe. Good quality, and my partner especially recommends the strawberry jam with croissants. Personally I liked everything and filled myself right up. read more
