I get a haircut there around every 4-6 weeks, and recommend it to anybody that asks me where to get a haircut in Downtown. Environment Professional, spacious, clean, comfortable. Service JB is my guy at Concept, and he is not only skilled but he actively maintains me as a client. He documents each cut, familiarized himself with my hair type, and can consistently replicate previous cuts or make adjustments depending on what I'm going for. Usually I just go in with a vague request like "Just a clean up, maybe some shaping on the beard" and he always delivers with something that looks good. I get a text shortly asking to come in on a different day or even earlier. I explained i had work which is why i took the last appointment. We compromised on a day earlier, same last block. I get a call the afternoon of my appointment. Harold explains he had to leave for the day and passed me off to a different barber. I was hesitant but i gave it a chance. Came in 10 minutes earlier. Was helped right away by the secondary barber. Showed him multiple pictures of my usual haircut. It's very simple, fade on the side and trim on top, even out the front. I felt like he didn't really look or ask for clarification. Instead he template matched me to cuts he probably regularly does. Guys who get haircuts regularly know when it feels wrong. And I could tell he went too high on the sides just by feeling. And when i saw it in the mirror my heart sank. Just ruined my head in 10 minutes. I could tell he wasn't comfortable with scissors. He actually lost grip on his shaver and knicked me on the neck with it. I do not recommend this place. And I get a haircut literally every single week where I'm from and they lost a potential regular. I don't think I'll come back here after going thru the stress of working with Harold trying to reschedule around HIM with my own personal schedule already. Very unprofessional. On top of that, you pre pay and get charged BEFORE coming in and as I was about to leave the guy who did my haircut asked me to pay AGAIN. So now I got double charged in the meantime while I wait for them to refund my original booking. These guys need to get it together and make the customer experience and journey have less friction and back and forth. Very disappointed. Don't book with Harold he likes to leave early. Adrian tried his best, but he's got a lot of work to do. 8/19: Edit cuz the owner or barber wants to back track. But Harold cornered me the afternoon of my appointment while I was at work to tell me he would be leaving at 3 that day and said he was gonna leave me to another barber. So NO NORMAN, he did not specify that I would get passed off up until a few hours before my rescheduled appointment and at that point I had enough of this back and forth and was trying to trust in the staff to take care of me but I did not get a skilled enough barber to do a simple mid high fade.

I recently visited MO3 Barbershop and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. The shop itself was clean, well-lit, and had a welcoming atmosphere. One thing I immediately appreciated was the music as it created a great vibe without being filled with profanity, making the environment comfortable and professional for everyone. I mention this because many barbershops in the immediate area have explicit playlists. Roy was my barber, and I can't say enough good things about his skill and professionalism. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and executed the haircut with incredible care, precision, and attention to detail. It was clear that he takes pride in his craft, and the results definitely showed. This was one of the best haircuts I've had in a long time. The rest of the team also stood out. The barbers were lively, engaging, and genuinely connected with their clients, creating an energetic and positive atmosphere throughout the shop. You could tell people enjoyed being there...not just for the haircut, but for the overall experience. If you're looking for a barbershop that combines professionalism, talent, great customer service, and a welcoming environment, I highly recommend MO3 Barbershop. read more

This is my first review ever and I just had to write one for Roy. I've been trying to look for a barber for MANY years now, but I never found one that cut my hair the way I pictured it, or how it was shown in the picture I showed them. My past barbers were either too expensive, didn't know how to taper (they were old school), or just completely messed it up (especially since I have thick, wavy hair). As a result, I was always nervous when scheduling an appointment with a barber. Now, ever since Roy became my barber, I've been excited to get my hair cut. His prices (and MO3 Barbershop's in general) are affordable, he knows how to cut modern styles (I asked for a modern mullet w/ a low taper), and he cuts my hair EXACTLY like the photo I showed him. He is also skilled in using scissors and takes the time to style my hair as well. I actively suggest Roy to all of my friends whenever they need a cut and even have a friend who now goes to him as well. I highly suggest coming to MO3 Barbershop and scheduling with Roy. You will come out of the shop looking great. I am proud to say he is my barber. read more

Wow! I am absolutely thrilled for Ivy and the grand opening of her new barber shop, MO3! I've been trusting Ivy with my haircuts since 2019, and she consistently delivers nothing short of perfection. I just lost my money so you don't have to. I should've booked a girl to cut my hair instead of this guy named Khanh. I literally showed him what I wanted, and I'm disappointed with how little he could do. His skills are only worth $10, and he's so careless--I didn't even get a lineup or cleanup afterward. He knew I wanted a skin fade, and this is what he did. Lucky for him, I still gave him $40 and my time. NEVER AGAIN, KHANH!!!! Reply: Wait, your security camera can zoom in closer to see what I actually showed to your "husband"? If he doesn't have the skills, I totally understand, but lying and saying I didn't show him a picture that he couldn't do it is on another level. Maybe next time, stop talking about other people and focus on your own business so you can get it right. read more
