- Great vibe. There will sometimes be a popular show that they pick off Netflix or sometimes have some music playing too. The staff there are very talkative and nice. They will usually spark up some conversation with you. - Price. It does go into more into the expensive side ($60 per cut) but I usually go to my regular barber which is DT. So prices may vary around that range. - Worth the money? It does for me. Because there is no one else around the bay that can do my hair correctly except for DT. I have a naturally permed hair and DT is the only person there that can do me right. Plus he continues to learn and adapts to new styles that are trending too over the course of 2 years knowing him. - Overall? As I can't say for the entire staff but if you do need a men's haircut and down to try out new styles, then DT is the perfect person to book for. Scheduled an appointment 2 weeks ago for 12pm with David Huang. I arrived at 11:55AM and was greeted by another barber. I was told that David Huang is currently busy and almost finished with his last guest. I was asked to sit and wait. I got a bad vibe right off the bat. I ended up waiting 30 minutes before David Huang finally walked up to greet me. He was very nonchalant the entire 55 minutes that he spent with me and he totally butchered my haircut. David Huang also denied my polite request to fix his poor work... not only did my barber do a terrible job but the entire shop seems to have zero respect for their customers. What kind of business offers appointments and then confirms said appointment, only to make me wait 30 minutes upon my arrival? A terrible business does that. This will be my one and only visit here. Not every hair texture and head shape is same, and I would have been happy if there was some effort taken to understand the texture and adjust that with the head shape. Bryan is 11/10 and my new go to. He made my first visit pleasant and was very welcoming. As for the haircut, he asked me what I wanted and I told him in short detail of how I wanted it to be and showed a picture of what I found online. He knew immediately what to do and asked me preferences of what I think my haircut should look like, layering-etc. He was very detailed and professional. This was my first time at Paradox, I came in for a scissor cut with senior barber Josh! I was left very happy with the outcome! I hadn't cut my hair in over 7 months and showed Josh a picture of what I wanted. He went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with the haircut. After I told him what I wanted he washed the product out of my hair explained what his game plan was even explained his techniques as he was cutting which relieved me of the anxiousness of trying a new hairstyle.
