However, Levi worked with us to select the best location for our relocated septic tank and chose a tank that best served our needs. We couldn't be happier with the job he did. When they were done, the yard was neat (though full of red dirt...) and they even offered to haul of scrap concrete from our earlier plumbing issue. We highly recommend them.

In the fall of 2018, my husband found Bob's company on Yelp. Our first impression was awesome!…read more Bob's attention to customer service is beyond expectation. He returns phone calls and does what he says, when and how he says he will. We hired him to do a major remodel of our home; extending the front of our house out approx. 8 feet, adding a covered front porch, and completely remodeling the kitchen from scratch to include removal of a wall to create an open floor plan between the kitchen and living room. Depending on what needed to be done, Bob had the necessary crew on hand and oversaw the entire project, but our main guys were Kyle and Drew. They were awesome and so great to work with! They too were customer service oriented. As with any remodel project, there are always things that come up and changes that happen, and they were patient, knowledgeable and hard working. Our home looks and feels wonderful! We have had numerous people walking and driving through the neighborhood stop by and complement the house and ask who our contractor was. They did a great job! Bob has created a company environment that is hard working, honest, creative, and customer service oriented. We highly recommend them and will hire them for all of our future projects. Bob and his crew successfully remodeled 3 bathrooms (to include flooring, building new cabinets and linen closets, all associated plumbing and electrical, moving the shower in master bath and all tile work) replaced windows throughout the house (and did an awesome job on the custom window casings & trim), installed engineered flooring throughout the house, added recessed lighting throughout, removed a wall & soffits, retexturing, and much more. Living in Arizona during the time of remodel, it was important that I found someone who could work with me long distance ... Bob was that guy! We communicated often and he was very quick to respond and discuss the details of the project. When I was in town, he made himself available to meet at times that were convenient for my limited schedule. Bob and his crew take pride in their work and did an outstanding job. This is a company that I Highly Recommend... Thank you Bob, Dan, Aaron, Kyle & Ben for a Job Well Done! Kay & Bob

Ghosting--even after an unexpected surgery which I understood, communication never recovered. When the quote finally showed up, it was missing a document David had known I needed from the very beginning. When I asked if he had it, he replied: "I do have the paperwork. Are you going to contract with us to do the work?" In other words, holding it over my head, which is insane. Really poor experience from start to finish. I'm glad I found another company I'm excited to work with. Autumn, for what it's worth, was consistently helpful and professional.

Garbage company. I would rate lower than one star if I could and this from a guy that never leaves…read morereviews of companies. There is too much to list here so I'll just go over the highlights. Purchased a home in 2016. Blue prints called for fake dormers on the roof. These are the little pop outs with a window or vent to make it look like the home has a second story. They're pointless and for aesthetic only. They have no structural element and must be hand built on top of the roof once you roll the trusses and install the plywood sheathing. I say all this to illustrate how easy it would've been for Epick to just not build them on the roof. When I requested this, Epick operations manager replied that they 'could not accommodate the request but homeowner could remove them after close of escrow'. So they went forward with the process of building unnecessary fake dormers that their customer didn't want and would've actually made their job easier to eliminate. If someone reading this thinks to themselves, 'well they have to stick to the plans approved by the City of Chico', the City of Chico building department would not care about non-structural parts of a house. If you changed square footage or added windows, they would care. For this, I know for a fact they would not care. Epick refused a simple request for no reason. Other than that issue, there were many more issues with the house I won't go into detail about but their response to these issues was terrible. I had to redo the plumbing under almost every sink. I've had to replace several components on the toilets. The cabinets were chipping after 8 months of living in the house and their response was that our finger nails chipped the paint and their not responsible. We got a second opinion and was told they did a terrible job on the paint and neglected to apply a second coat. I would rent an outhouse before buying another Epick home.
