Ask for the Moon Events is simply the best wedding planning company in the Twin Cities. We had the…read morepleasure of working with the queen bee herself, Maddie . A little bit about us , we are two gay men who have live in NYC for ten years , we have been to lots of parties , and had high expectations . Here is why we love Maddie Money - Maddy's price is very reasonable even for Minnesota standards- she pretty much paid for herself by saving us thousands of dollars with her long list of A list vendors. From linens , to desserts , to chandeliers. Maddie provided us with the best quality to price ratio. She attended every meeting, every tasting, and served as a liaison if we decided to make changes. Execution- Optimistic and fast, Maddie was sweet as sugar, but don't mistake that for weakness. Maddie has been in the business a long time, she made sure that the vendors were on point, modified timelines, and was prepared for the unexpected. She took the stress away and worked hard to make our wedding a success. Therapist - Maddie was personal and empathetic. She listened to every family drama, annoyance, or groomzilla crises that we went through. Professional yet approachable, Also she would respond to every email and phone call within an hour. Cutting edge As jaded New Yorkers , we had lots of fashion and PR industry patrons attend our reception. Our friends were blown away, by the execution creativity, and visual presentation of our wedding . This was because of Maddie . So in the end she is simply the best , she did exactly what we wanted , anticipated out needs, and kept us calm. If you want to plan a serious wedding that will impress your friends , hire this lady and her amazing team. She's the best in Minnesota and would kill it in NYC.

She is just so fantastic, and such a godsend, I really can't say enough good things. She goes above and beyond, and is more than just a professional, she makes it feel like you are working with a friend. If you are even considering working with Maddie and Ask For the Moon Events, I highly recommend you do! One phone call with Maddie and you will be feeling calm and prepared- I promise it will be one of the best decisions you make!

We took our shoes and jackets off at the front, and then went to go check-in. I was asked if I had ever been there before, which I said no and then I scanned a QR code to sign the waiver for my kiddos. I would say overall, this was a pretty fun experience. You are given two hours to play for admission. I think the admission is pretty expensive, especially for babies. My 7-year old had a fun time, though. She enjoyed playing in the different areas. She ended up getting a mini scoop of ice cream, which was about $6. I would have gotten coffee, but I think the food prices were pretty expensive. Overall, I think one and done for us. We enjoyed the experience, but I took two stars off for how bare it was and for the expensive prices.

Just some soft mats on the floor with a few baby toys scattered around. The cashier was very friendly and answered my questions. This place could have had a lot of potential. Hopefully they can stay in business with a new concept that would better serve customers needs. They are having a discounted sale on the toys and onesies they have for sale. I did not try the cafe drinks this time but perhaps before they close this month I can.

If you are going for a breathtaking WOW factor this is it! I do believe weddings are their main…read morebusiness and they have the decoration and space set up organized and down to a science. Your event will probably go off without a hitch. If you are a bride that likes glamour and things done in a big way---this will probably be a venue you will want to check out. I am more about quality and substance vs. quantity and showiness therefore I can only give it a three stars based on my likes and dislikes. I recently attended an event there and for the money that was spent a few things I would have been disappointed in was the sound quality indoors and outdoors. --How close the chairs were outside--they are small seated chairs and unless you have the ass of a child they did not need to be touching because most adults need the room on the side of the chair for some overflow. The food---I had steak and others had the chicken and fish and one vegetarian had pasta...the feedback on all of it was not that good! These plates are all right around 32-38 per plate so at that price you would expect delicious food. I think the quality of the food was there and it had more to do with the preparation vs. the product itself. The staff was a little snippy with the wedding party in the afternoon when one asked if there was anyway possible they could get coffee or water--apparently this is a money making business and that was not part of the deal so they were shut down with a curt response of No-but nice try!!!! The open bar selection was boring and standard--and the glassware was not upscale. I would have expected a martini glass to be available and perhaps a few more exotic liquors and mixers just for fun. These are all areas that you can address beforehand if you choose to use this as your venue --I feel like if you are aware of some of this it can easily be enhanced for a five star experience.
