** 5 Year Review Update **…read more Fells Point continues to be great for the most part. Quality restaurants and boutiques, gorge water views, some of the coolest folks you'd ever meet. Some establishments have left, some have joined. The crowds stay heavy. Sadly lately, the crime has increased making it sometimes difficult to enjoy. Parking is gawd awful, but worth the hustle. I pray this area improves as Baltimore City deserves this.

Historic waterfront neighborhood [Baltimore MD]…read more Did some research while looking for places to visit in Baltimore and bookmarked this neighborhood. Fell's Point is located along the north shore of the Baltimore Harbor and just less than 10 miles from our hotel... we made our way here on MLK Day. Surprisingly, not all the businesses were closed on a holiday. We arrived around 10:30a and found parking. There are a few options for parking including metered parking and convenient lots and garages. We found an open spot on Thames Street. Fell's Point is beautiful as it was once a bustling shipbuilding port. We walked the snowy sidewalks and enjoyed the views of the wharf. Fell's Point is a historic waterfront and one of the oldest neighborhoods in Baltimore. It has served as the home to jazz singer Billie Holiday and abolitionist Frederick Douglass. I loved the cobblestone streets with many waterfront restaurants and bars and the local cute boutiques shops. We had brunch at Barcocina and did some window shopping at the cozy shops. We also shared a pastry purchased from Pitango Bakery Cafe located right there at the waterfront. Review #3664

This year was my first time going and I was pleasantly surprised! If you're like me and you get anxiety over festival parking, be assured that all you need to do is look at the festival map posted online for the event and they have clearly marked parking garages- all for 5 bucks! All liquor was 6 bucks, and food averaged 12 bucks on up. I ended up also getting doggie waffle treats for cheap. I loved their concept and interaction. Overall plenty to do... if you go make sure to check out the live music, vendors, and stay true to Maryland by checking out the seafood food stands! See you next year!

There were rides but mostly they were for the kids enjoyment. Definitely not complaining because slong with the wares there was an abundance of food you only find at festivals like funnel cake and huge turkey legs not to mention pad thai stalls and Jimmy seafood. I ate wayyy too much but i was happy with it. The beer garden was a nice touch for the adults. There was a band going which was nice back ground music. This was a really nice sunday strolling with friends and i got my mothers day shopping out the way!

Uptown Towson is the shopping and dining and glitzy heart of Towson. Towson is a fancy suburb of a very run down city known as Baltimore and up here you will find lots of high-end shopping and people with money and some nice boba places. Sure it's nice to shop here and wander around here and do people watching and all that stuff, but you can't forget that just down the road it's pretty much a war zone because the inequality of wealth in this country is nowhere as pronounced as it is in uptown Towson versus the west side of Baltimore.

I tried the Apple Fluff (Fluffed Marshmallow Vodka) and the Whipped Sunset (Whipped Cream Vodka) both were sweet but tasted delicious. Food was also served from lovely ladies walking throughout the lounge. I got to taste some differents small plates of shrimp, pasta, beef ribs, salmon skewers, chicken skewers and more! All the of the food was great. The music, atmosphere, and crowd were wonderful! An awesome event that if it passes through BMORE next year I surely will attend.

Plenty of folks chilling listening to the music and enjoying the free cups of drinks by Smirnoff that advertised their new flavored vodka. My favorite one was Iced cake drink, it was the sweetest! I am a light weight drinker! lol There was bites that was passed around. My favorite was the crab cake and pasta. Yummy!!! Security there was tight! Grown and Sexy style only permitted! You can walk around the lighthouse for a free scenic view or go inside where you'll meet a worker. The worker was super informative and nice. He told me and my friend that we could do a self guided tour of the lighthouse for $3/per person or there was another rate for the tour + seeing 4 ships. This time, we ended up just doing the self guided tour. When having conversations between me and my friend, the worker actually chimed in here and there. It was interesting to read up on the previous keepers and their lives. One thing I loved about the lighthouse was that there's a map that lights up to show diff locations of other lighthouses.

The Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse is located on Pier 5 of Baltimore's Inner Harbor. Built in 1856, it…read moreis one of the oldest Chesapeake lighthouses still in existence. It initially stood on Seven Foot Knoll in the mouth of the Patapsco River, but it was transferred to Baltimore Maritime Museum (now the Historic Ships of Baltimore) in 1997 and was installed at its current location on the pier. It's worth walking over to see the lighthouse if you're wandering around the Inner Harbor (or visiting the Historic Ships of Baltimore), but you'd be lucky to find it open. It's open seasonally to begin with, but the website currently has a note about restoration ("An update on the Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse will be coming soon.") and no opening hours. If you are lucky enough to get inside, the website refers to artifacts in its collection? That sounds exciting. But I personally have never seen it open! Still, its size, color, shape, and location make it worth a visit just for photographs if you're in the area.
