Fast forward to today, the chair was saggy, old and the threads were coming undone. A dog at one point even chewed on one of the wooden legs. This chair has a ton of sentimental value to me so I was nervous about handing it over to be redone. I am so relieved I did. The chair they returned back to me is absolutely gorgeous. It's a one of a kind. They redid the wood (which I did not ask them to do). They did a perfect job with the fabric, cushioning and tufting. This was 100% worth it.

The bottom was falling out. The springs were so far gone that every time you sat in it you felt like you might actually fall through. Artisan Interiors rebuilt the interior completely, eight-way hand-tied springs, the whole structure, and saved the original fabric his grandmother had chosen. All of it. They polished the wood while they had it. Two to three weeks, reasonable price, no drama. David runs the operation and was easy to talk to from the first conversation. Knowledgeable, straightforward, no overselling. It's a family business -- his father is the upholsterer -- and it shows in how they treat what you bring them. I didn't fully understand how damaged it was until I got it back. Now it feels the way it was supposed to feel. Solid. Sturdy. You can sit in it comfortably without holding your breath. It's been around for two hundred years, and with good care it'll be around for two hundred more. Thank you Artisan Interiors!

First we meet in the office to go over colors and fabrics. David had incredible knowledge and great suggestions of what would fit with our space and accounted for our pets. We landed on a thus great blue color that wouldn't be harmed by cats and great at dealing with moisture. Then his people came to our home, quickly but carefully took all the chairs and bench and they were off. When they returned a few weeks alter everything was in perfect condition and the chairs looked great! Would and have recommended David and his team for future furniture needs!

Randy is professional and incredibly thorough. He examined the dash closely, explained what was causing the blemish, and laid out a few solutions so I could decide what made sense for me. He also went out of his way to help with things that had nothing to do with the dash. When I mentioned some other needs, he connected me with other professionals he trusts. Randy is very well networked, and it's clear he's made a lot of meaningful connections over his years in this business. That kind of generosity is rare. If you want someone knowledgeable, honest, and genuinely helpful for your car's interior, call Randy.

After a bit of friendly phone tag, I connected with the owner, Randy. Randy took the time to educate me (quite thoroughly) on the leather cleaning business, including the various types of leather that furniture is made from. He wanted to make sure I understood what I was asking for. I learned so much from him, however due to personal issues he wasn't able to do the work at the time. But he kindly referred me to an associate company he was familiar with called Fibre Clean. A company which he was familiar with that did equally excellent work. He promptly forwarded my name to them and I got a call back from the Fibre Clean owner right away! The work has been completed and now my old furniture looks beautiful again! Very high quality work as well as top notch customer service and communication. My furniture looks brand new and I am so pleased! I would definitely recommend a call to either of them if you need any type of leather cleaning and conditioning done. They not only work on furniture but also auto upholstery, boat upholstery and more!

I recently received two old chairs that my grandma has had in her home since long before I was born. They needed to be reupholstered and fixed up a bit. Although price conscious, I was more concerned that the job be done right. I wanted a quality job because the old fashioned quality of the "bones" of the chair deserved it and also the chairs are special to me because of their sentimentality. I met Gil in his shop in his garage and we chatted for a long time. He told me stories about working as an upholsterer in the 40's and 50's and beyond. He told me about when the industry switched to staple guns from hammers which made me laugh a bit. He's been working in the same field for decades, which gave me confidence in his abilities. We picked up the chairs today and are thrilled with the result. The leather he ordered is terrific quality. (Full grain, semi aniline dyed). They look and feel great and I'm hopeful that they will hold up for another couple generations.
