Friend didn't like the dye permanently put on her eyebrows until it fades off. I also was hugely disappointed about my eyelashes because she refused to remove my mascara and eyeshadow. She said it would work better that way. (Call me naive, but this was first time.) The next morning my eyelashes were clumped to old mascara and were falling off my eyes. I had to remove a couple. I obeyed all of the rules about not getting them wet (very difficult in shower-had to use multiple wash cloths to protect my eyes) I was told these would last a couple of weeks. LIAR! Ended pulling them out because it looked weird when the others were gone. It was damaging to my eyelashes and I will NEVER go back to this establishment.

I let my brows just grow completely out for over 3 months...and looked awful but wanted the technician to have a blank slate to start from. After reading reviews, I decided to give Jill's a try. I carefully explained everything to the technician. After she finished, I pointed out that the right one was noticeably thicker than the left. She said no. Then, for the tinting, I said I didn't want them too dark, but she did them VERY dark. In the car, looking in the mirror, I wanted to cry but decided to go home and get a really good look in a better mirror and in better light. Nope, not any better...they are CLEARLY not the same thickness, not even the same shape, and are VERY dark! On the plus side, the technician was proficient, the establishment was clean, and the price was fair.

So she advised me to grow them out (this was about a 2 month process to get all the hair to try and grow back) when they finally grew all the way back she threaded them so they look WAY more full and long! Prior to visiting Brow N' Brow, I would often have some acne appear around my brow and forehead a day or two after having my eyebrows waxed or threaded, but I have yet to experience this at Brow N' Brow and I think that is due to their hygiene practice of using hand sanitizer with each customer before threading. It's definitely appreciated. The eyebrow waxing is affordable at less than $15 a session and they have discount packages if you pay ahead for several visits at one time (no expiration date).
