Miu's Tea is now in Sunset Place, and I couldn't be happier. I am a regular at the South Beach location, and now it's right near home!! The quality of the Boba tea here is spectacular. It's fresh, soft, and authentic. Although the menu is not incredibly extensive, they have mastered the art of making every single drink perfect. I ordered the traditional Honey Milk Tea, and the flavors of the Black Tea and the honey were exquisite. They also offer a unique option of Cremas, which are a Tea topped with a light Salted Foam. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm excited to try it the next time I'm back in. I also love that they have several different options for dairy alternatives. Refreshing! This place is small but really cute! Is full of natural light and plants. Service was good, good recommendations.. They have a really nice selection of teas and tea drinks. You can get matcha in a variety of flavors, also lattes, and milk teas. You have options to add boba and popping boba! I had the mango matcha, it was really good...fresh, I could taste the mango flavor and the matcha as well... I ordered 75% sweet, next time I'll do 50% but it was still good. I'd say this place is just average. I rated it a 3 because I walked in with my 2 11 year old kids, and rap music was blasting in the background. I'm not fond of them hearing F bombs on the radio. The 2nd reason I gave it a 3 is because of the wait. The same guy taking orders was making the tea. Hence the wait. He also messed up my kids order. As far as the tea is concerned, it's just average. Do you know what time is it? It's boba time duh. Miu's opened a new branch at South Miami! If you are planning to watch a movie at Sunset Mall, you must stop by Miu's first. I love this particular location due to its proximity to University of Miami, and also you can park at the Winn Dixie parking nearby for free! There is no way to find a free parking at the South Beach store. It is seriously my favorite boba place in Miami and it is also the most consistent boba place, to date. The consistency of taste and quality of their tea is the best thing. My to-go is their Miu's milk tea with tiny boba. I think the best way to determine how good a boba place is by their quality of the most basic milk tea. I have also tried their matcha crema, golden oolong crema, Thai tea, ice cream matcha, and rose puer crema, and you need try those too! Trust me, it won't disappoint you. The menu is extensive, so do expect me to come back very very often to try them all. I usually just go for the default sweetness level (100%), milk tea tastes the best with original sweetness level. I also really love their varieties of toppings offered. Besides the tiny boba which you can rarely get it somewhere else in Miami, I love their popping boba too! The boba is always perfectly cooked and sweetened to my liking. The service is pretty good as well. The staff usually give prompt service, but I think they should also consider hiring more staff to speed up the ordering. The interior is also very clean and aesthetically cute. Let me just start off with the tiny boba, WHAT A GREAT IDEA!!!! I started ordering light boba on my drinks because I would get overwhelmed with the chewy ness of tapioca but this is an amazing idea and it's perfect to chew and not be overwhelmed. Miu's Tea has become my favorite way to beat this Miami heat. The teas tastes fantastic and the popping boba are so much fun! The only critique I have is the wait time, so I suggest you order ahead of time if you're not ready to wait. I'm not quite sure why it takes so long, all I know is that the tea is always fresh. I recommend that if you're not a sweet tooth to order your flavored Green Tea with 25-50% sweetness, the 100% can be too sweet and takes away from the actual taste of the tea. I can't believe I've passed by this place several times and I'm just discovering it now! When you need a pick me up, go here. God their lemonades are so refreshing! So much to choose from on their menu that I had to refer to Instagram for recommendations lol. Went with their Peach Green Tea Lemonade which I've tried Starbucks version but this one is soooooo much better! They asked what toppings I wanted but I had no clue so I literally said "Give me exactly what's on these pictures" (refer to my IG screenshots) and the best part is that they lets you choose your sweetness level. Nothing worse than an overly sweet lemonade or tea. So I did 25% on the Thai Tea and 50% on the lemonade. It was PERF-ECT! Such a cute hole in the wall. Love the lighting. Tea places are always a hit or miss they're either have an overbearing menu with teas that all end up tasting the same or you find gems like these with a good simple menu and everything tastes fresh and distinctive. Nestled in between two buildings is this bobba place. Modern, bright, chill... that's exactly what I thought of when I opened the doors to Miu's Tea. The owners were behind the counter during my visit and they were very nice and helpful. The interior is simple with plants everywhere; the roof is actually glass so you see the sky above. This kind of reminded me of an atrium. They have a variety of different teas and mixes, some I've never heard of or thought of before. I came with a friend and we were catching up on our times so I actually had two teas. The first was a match tea and the second was the honey lemon. Both were really good and refreshing. However, I think the honey lemon was a tad too sweet. I would probably just get it with less honey. What I really liked about Miu's Tea is the way you feel while visiting: bright and airy. Stopped in here after a shift at a nearby hospital. I was craving boba and was surprised to find a spot in the Sunset area. Prices were a little high but I understand that space is at a premium here. I ordered the Thai tea with 40% sugar and was pleasantly surprised! I took it for takeout to drink on my way back to Miami Beach where I was staying and surprisingly the drink held its consistency and flavor the whole way through, even after the ice melted. Before Moge tea open, I would always come here. But never again after today. I walked in at around 9:50pm. They had a long line. I waited until it was my turn to order. When it is finally my turn after at least 5 minutes of waiting, I ordered a rose puerh crema and oolong milk tea. Lady took my order and I paid. She came back after I had already paid saying they didn't have anymore crema series. Asking me to change it to something else. Well, hell. I had no backups. So I contemplated a while. She left to the back to tend to her other orders and to help her coworkers. When she came back, I was ready. However, she was giving this guy his order. He interrupted to tell her that he had asked for no ice on both of his drinks and they put ice on both. That took another 5 minutes for her to fix their mistakes. Taking all the ice out. When she got to me again, she told me, " I'm just going to refund you the puer crema bc it's past 10 and they're closed. She left again to get my drink. I told her, that if it weren't for the time she was back there, it wouldn't have been past 10. So it was bc of their delay that now they're refunding me. I don't mind the refunding but at least own to your customers. If you're not trying to take more customers, close your damn door. Your door was unlock, open to run a business. If you're closed, tell your incoming customers that you no longer take orders so they don't waste their time. But don't tell me that you're refunding me for something you failed to mention in the very beginning...that you didn't have anymore puer crema. This is so unacceptable and rude. If this is the service you provide at the store, then no, I'm good. I can take my behind and give my business elsewhere. read more

I'm disappointed to say that the quality of freshness is not the same as it used to me. It could've possibly be because they aren't getting a lot of foot traffic due to the covid pandemic, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't keep their teas freshly brewed. Even the crema smelled spoiled. I took two sips from my drink and threw it out- my husband's drink also tasted as if the tea has been sitting out for too long. I'm a boba tea fanatic so I'm extremely disappointed to tell everyone this place was not it. The customer service wasn't there at all and they were not super friendly. We ordered a Thai tea latte and a matcha crema. The Thai tea latte was OKAY was not the best but wasn't awful I would give it a 5/10 due to the fact that it tasted artificial. The matcha crema was the one that really tasted bad. It was not sweet at all and was pretty bland. I expected better because it was my first time going. I asked the worker if they would remake the matcha crema or switch it out and she said no. She added sugar and that was it. Personally, almost all the places I go to prioritizes the customer.
