Finding a placed to eat in Venice that isn't a tourist trap or overpriced is about as hard as navigating the winding city streets. Hopefully while getting lost you stumble upon MiTi Bar.
We found this little gem on our last day in Venice and I wish we'd wandered past it sooner! They had great food, cheap drinks, and friendly service along with wifi. Since it was lunch time we sat outside. The premade sandwiches started at 3 euro and a huge menu with reasonable prices. MiTi is also vegetarian and glutten-free friendly. The owner was super friendly and spoke English. She even put up with our attempts to order in Italian.
MiTi is a five min walk from the train station, but situated far enough off the main road that you have to search for it. It's worth the hunt. If I'm ever back in Venice MiTi will be the first place I visit. read more
