Usually, I am "all-for" organic, low toxicity means of pest control. Until it comes to termites. Upon move-in 1/2020, I opened up an interior cupboard to find a large nest of live beetle-like shiny insects making a mad dash to exit thru a LARGE, easy to see opening to the exterior. **RPG had totally missed this**. Called to inspect/remediate. Was given Big Lecture on the advisability of Integrated Pest Management. RPG first came as per appointment to inspect, then failed to show for WARRANTIED FUP. We ended up "treating locally" ourselves ~2/2020. No more scurrying beetle-like insects from that particular cupboard. But earwigs and other insects keep falling from cracks in the ceiling. Crawling out from heater vents and other supposedly "closed" spaces. Yesterday, 5/2020, I climbed a ladder to do some exterior cleaning in the filthy eaves above my front door. The wood is rotted in several places, so much so that a pencil can easily push through. Obviously, termite or other wood-destroying pests have been at work and **obviously for some time**. First, I am calling a REAL Pest Control Company (the two which we've used for ~30 years in Goleta were both outstanding). I will beg them to come to Santa Ynez. If their findings are as I suspect they will be, my next call is to our attorney.

His reassurance alone made a huge difference and helped me feel safe until he could come out the next day, which made me feel better from the start. Nick arrived right on time with his team member and quickly discovered that about 5,000 bees had settled inside the wall above my garage. Watching him work was honestly really neat and educating for myself. He explained everything as he went, from how bees build wax to how their hives function and even their behavior. You can tell he genuinely knows and loves what he does. He handled two visits: one to safely remove the bees and screen the area, and another to screen all my vents to prevent future issues. Both visits were professional, thorough, and done with real care. Out of all the home service companies I've worked with (and I've had PLENTY of home services), Nick stands out above the rest. I've had the best experience with Nick and his team member. Knowledgeable, reliable, and incredibly dedicated. Our community is lucky to have someone like him. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, do not wait for bees to fly away - this is your guy for the job!!!

I also learned their staff is totally commited to saving these bees once they are captured and have established beekeeping partnerships in the Central California Coast area around Santa Barbara. Their website superbeerescue.com is worth a visit. We would highly recommend these knowledgeable folks. They also handle nastier jobs like yellow jackets as well. They deserve a 5-star rating.
