The biggest problem however is that I paid them $650 for two colors of bimini boots and they were about 3 sizes too large. Linda did not make good on this and eventually ignored my request that this be corrected even though I offered to pay more. Avoid Fields Finest at all costs! His "repair" failed within days, made my couch worse, and he…read moredisappeared when asked to fix it. Look at other negative reviews: failed repairs and a refusal to take responsibility. Don't risk the same experience! I paid $200 for what was supposed to be a durable fix on a small tear and some abrasions. The so-called repair began peeling within days and steadily got worse. I immediately notified him when I noticed the peeling, and he initially said he'd return to fix it but never showed and stopped responding entirely. It took a lengthy credit card dispute to get my money back. Only after I filed the chargeback - when it affected him financially - did he reach out. He sent defensive messages citing personal health issues - not to offer a resolution, but seemingly to dissuade me from pursuing the refund. On top of that, instead of proper color-matching, he painted the entire couch without asking. This changed the texture of the genuine leather, leaving it with a sticky and unpleasant finish. Now I have to pay another professional to remove the mess - or just replace the couch entirely. If you value your time, money, and furniture, stay far away from this business!

Multiple attempts by my husband and I over the last month to reach out and just ask that he stand by his word. Nothing.

I inherited an antique bed that belonged to my grandmother. I loved the posts but knew it was impractical to keep the bed due its size so imagine how happy I was to hear about Monticello Antiques. Irene and Dave were able to enlarge the bed so it can accommodate a queen mattress, which is what I wanted in the guest room. They worked with me to design the headboard so it would be taller and more updated than the original and Dave fixed the posts where additional carving was needed. It just turned out beautifully. I couldn't be more pleased. You cannot buy the craftsmanship of this bed in today's world. Thank you, Irene and Dave for the love and care you gave to my grandmother's bed. It is lovely!
