WARNING TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS: I DO NOT RECOMMEND Vuksani Service Group DBA Michael Caputo…read morePlumbing . Their lack of quality control and accountability turned a straightforward shower installation into a loss of more than $10,000. They installed my shower valve incorrectly and closed the wall without catching the error, leaving my new shower inoperable and voiding the manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer, a 3rd party licensed contractor and plumber all confirmed the incorrect installation and that proper testing should have caught the problem before the wall was tiled. When I requested progress photos and pressure-test documentation, none was provided. Because my matching tile size had been discontinued, reopening the wall required demolishing and rebuilding the shower enclosure. I paid another plumber and tile contractor $10,618.27 to correct their work and restore my shower. Despite repeated calls, texts, and emails, the company provided no repair plan or resolution. After nearly two months, the owner contacted me only after I called the company's insurance broker to file a claim. He argued that I had ordered the wrong valve--even though the manufacturer confirmed that I had not--and still offered no solution. When I said I would file a complaint with the Florida DBPR, he accused me of "defamation" and said he would "make sure this goes to court." A plumbing mistake is bad enough. Refusing to take responsibility and leaving a customer with more than $10,000 in damages is far worse.

BEWARE: Work Done Without a Written Estimate, Excessive Charges, and Defective Plumbing…read more I had a very disappointing experience with Mickey's Plumbing, Inc. at my West Palm Beach property. Before the work began, I specifically requested a written cost estimate and clearly instructed the technician to remove the existing toilet and install a new replacement toilet, along with a new faucet. Instead, the technician recommended repairing the existing toilet, telling me it would be "much cheaper." I agreed to the repair based on that representation. I was subsequently charged $1,093.00, including $900 for four hours of labor at $225 per hour and $193 for parts, including a fill valve, flapper, toilet/bowl bolts, gasket, sealant, wax ring, and sink faucet. I was never provided with a written estimate before the work began or given an opportunity to approve a $1,093 charge. In my opinion, the amount charged was excessive for the work performed, particularly given the nature of the repairs and I could have purchased a brand new toilet at Home Depot for $94.00. To put the cost in perspective, I was informed that comparable Florida daytime plumbing rates are generally much lower than the $225-per-hour rate I was charged. This was routine toilet and faucet work, not specialized structural plumbing or complex repiping. To make matters worse, the repair was defective and left an active water leak, requiring the plumber to return the following day to address the problem. When I formally disputed the invoice and requested that the charges be reviewed and corrected, I was threatened with the possibility of a property lien rather than receiving a satisfactory resolution to the billing dispute. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Mickey's Plumbing, Inc. Save yourself the headache, money, and risk of property damage--avoid this company at all costs.

Well, it happened to me, so I read all the rave reviews for Home Choice Plumbing and took a chance on calling. From the first call I knew I had made the right choice. Ryan answered and was professional to a fault about asking and answering my questions and made arrangements to have someone to my home the next day between 12 and 1 pm. True to his word, Brandon arrived and quickly surveyed the situation and offered up at last 3 solutions that would remedy my plumbing problem. Choosing an option, Brandon set to work making the necessary repairs. Brandon is truly professional and did a great job, I am very pleased with him and Home Choice Plumbing. I believe any nightmares of plumbing issues are gone thanks to Home Choice Plumbing. Thanks Ryan and Brandon.

It is safe to say that they treated you well and you receive something like five star service that said you pay a 7 star price. Hey, at least the took 15 minutes beforehand to inspect all my other plumbing and try to sell me a membership perhaps I should say my hourly rate was $700. I verified the price with him, he confirmed it was $95, and had me sign to authorize the work. As soon as the job was finished, he hit me with a bill for $295.00. When I protested, reminding him that he promised $95 and that I never would have authorized a $300 repair for a running toilet, he refused to honor his word. Stating, " I cleary said $295." I immediately called their office, hoping for a resolution, but the woman on the phone was incredibly argumentative. She kept insisting it was a "fair price," completely ignoring the fact that I was lied to about the estimate. For nearly $300, I could have bought a brand-new toilet. This business is dishonest, unprofessional, and lacks basic customer service ethics. Avoid them at all costs unless you want hidden fees and an argument.
