I switched State Farm agents, hoping to find one that would help me through a claims process. Misty had a very nice article written up about her in a local paper and a quote that impressed me was "you are not just a policy number, you are family". And on this current yelp page, she states "reach out if you need any help". This is all marketing. I know of 2 State Farm adjusters who say they are paid VERY well ($88,000 /yr) , to deny and delay claims. 3 State Farm sales agents refused to discuss my claim. So, if you need claims service, you have to risk going crazy fighting with a string of adjusters (I had seven) or hire your own advocate. My advice is to search for a company that honors it's commitments with insurance agents that assist with claims. read more

I had looked up reviews on yelp to see if this was a good place to go and I was very happy with the customer service quality of care and friendliness of the agent. I was really Discouraged about my current rates on my car insurance. It literally just went up ,again ,another $30. I was with my old insurance company for almost 10 years and the rates just keep going up and up. I tried calling my old one and they said sorry we can't do anything unless you lower your coverage.... Very discouraging after so many years of buisness with them. So I started looking up insurance options and found Misty with State Farm. I set up an appointment with her to get some quotes over the phone!! I started with my car's and found out I could save 2/3 of what I was paying ,a month, with the same or if not better coverage than I was getting before at my other insurance company! I was shocked! I also had her look at homeowners insurance policy's.That was very comparable with even better coverage than I had before. I'm very excited to be able to switch over. The most important part was the customer service. It was honestly top notch service. I felt very comfortable with going over all my personal stuff with her. She was very personable and caring through the whole thing. She didn't keep me on the phone forever but I didn't feel rushed either. She also got my all my new insurance cards and every immediately! I even purchased a new car a few days later and she just switched it over for me and got me new insurance cards again!!! I own a small buisness myself so I know what good customer service is. I'm now going to look into switching my buisness insurance and possibly my life insurance. I highly recommend contacting Misty if you are even interested in getting a quote. I was just shopping around for rates to keep a long story short. Ryan if my memory serves me correct was just the guy I needed! He quoted me but I quickly informed him that I was just shopping around. A follow up call later we're going back and forth about policies and coverages, then he explains "I'm the package guy." Basically he locked me in at a rate, I couldn't afford to say no. I felt valued he matched the rate I was hoping to receive. Ryan is great to talk to and a great extension to State Farm. read more

I am very disappointed in the lack of good faith from this company and the administration services. This State Farm office input me into their system incorrectly and took 2 months to fix it. They way overcharged me over the price I agreed to pay and I had to make it a huge issue to get the drive safe and save working. The company is refusing to refund me the amount they charged me over what I agreed to and signed on the contract. I think at this point my best option is to cancel with them so I can get the money back to pay my bills. It's such a shame that companies can get away with stealing from people because of their own negligence and poor performance to set up new customers and then turn around and blame their customers for their own mistakes. THE WORST AGENTS AT STATEFARM. Misty and Britney are so completely incompetent, and the rudest most unprofessional insurance agents ive spoken to. Considering they are INSURANCE agents, you would think they know that when a car is towed, there is storage fees and it would be helpful to know if thats something that is covered or not. As your agent, its their job to inform you of your coverage, but they dont. They do the bare minimum, and dont give you details about your coverage, but expect you to know as if its common sense. Then, when you try to speak to them about it, they are defensive and condescending. They dont try to offer any type of solution. Might as well go somewhere else like Geico, cause you wont have an insurance agent and if you come here its essentially the same thing. Worst experience ever. Dealing with them has been more stressful than the actual accident. Ever since Misty took over this office, a lot of people have switched to different agents and i can definitely see why. Save your time and stress and go literally anywhere else. read more

A month ago State farm increased my rate by $60 a month after a $1100 claim. They took $244 directly from my bank account and four days later I called and cancelled my policy. I was told my refund was only going to be $180! It's now over a month later and I still don't have my refund money. I keep calling only to hear that it's in the mail. They took the money directly from my account but can't put it back the same way. Not only did I get screwed on the refund amount but still waiting to get it, has me furious! I will never use State farm ever again after this experience! read more
