One of their specialty sandwiches. Reuben

I found this place and happened to stop by last week from reviews on here so I went in. I wad in the area. Unfortunately I was disappointed as the sandwich was just on. Lacking in flavor and just bland. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. No complaints there. Maybe one more try next time I'm in the area to give them another shot. Very clean place though. Well kept.

Love this place, used to be my go-to lunch stop when I lived in the area. Now I swing by when I'm in the area. Always get the dodgingtown, it's so good!

Good and speedy sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. Grab and go spot. The specialty sandwich menu has a bunch of good picks on it.

Today I brought my husband in based on pics of their pizza from reviews on Facebook. We ordered a large Hot Oil Pie, and Garlic Knots to eat there. Then a large cheese pizza to take home. In addition I had an iced carmel salted latte one there ,and it was so good I took one to go. On top of it the family that owns Dodingtown were just as friendly and welcoming as the first time I came into their business. Now lets start with the iced salted carmel latte so creamy, and refreshing but not too sweet. The garlic knots have sliced pieces of garlic, nice plump dough, and the sauce was to me perfect! The hot oil pie if you like HOT this is your pizza. The peppers used on this pizza are green chill peppers, and red italian long peppers. These peppers together bring the heat. The crust is thin and crispy, and the sauce is a delightful homemade sauce. You can tell their pizza is made with the best ingredients. Dodgingtown is a local business You want to know from their sandwiches, pizza, baked goods, coffees, teas, etc. I am looking foward to the next time I can eat at Dodgingtown Market & Deli‼

It is a treat to go get my bacon egg and cheese here and a pleasure to walk in and be greeted by the staff working. (Shoutout to Ian and Miss G and Puja!!!) I am fortunate to live so close to this place. Food always hits the spot, consistently stock good drinks (and niche options) and the decor inside is colorful and fun. I am excited for the addition of the coffee bar and will always be a returning customer to this little gem of a spot. Side note- try their homemade bacon, it is so good!!

The deli options are extensive and a bit overwhelming if I'm honest. I had a Reuben and gluten-free bread and my GF had a turkey sandwich. There are endless potato chip options and beverage options. We sat and had our lunch at one of the small tables. We really enjoyed our visit. If you're in the Newtown area, I recommend the new town general store and their deli.

It included a mix of ham, bacon, sausage, and plain egg and cheese sandwiches. The order was ready as promised, and I was helped outside. Sadly, I did not take a picture of the giant box that was given to me with the sandwiches. There is a special for one dollar off per sandwich when you buy a large amount. I don't know the actual amount. I had a ham, egg and cheese on a roll. It tasted really good especially for the discounted price. There is a huge drink selection and a full menu for breakfast and lunch. The decor inside is really cool. It looks like a store from early 20th century America with all the wood. Tables inside to sit and enjoy your food. I will definitely be returning to try one of their lunch sandwiches.

The dining room was empty as we came early, and it looked beautiful. The entire restaurant, to the eye, is absolutely a vibe. There was one server on shift at the time and she was very nice and welcoming. We had very high hopes for the meal to come. We were fairly disappointed. It was during a brunch service. Initially ordered the calamari as an appetizer. Yes, calamari as a brunch app is kind of strange however since it was available I ordered it. I typically order this wherever I go, because I execution-wise, it's not the easiest thing to prepare correctly. This app was tiny, as in the serving size. Additionally the calamari itself was super small as well. No nice meaty rings. No crispy tentacles. Just a greasy mess. The dish purports the dipping sauce to be that of a fra diavolo, it was not. It was more like a marinara with chunky bits of aromatics and perhaps a bit of crushed red pepper. It was also very pricey given everything. Even if it were perfect, still on the pricey side. At the same time my daughter ordered French toast. For $18. We are talking $6 a slice of brioche. Wild business, that. As mains, my wife ordered the avocado toast. Which she actually seemed to enjoy, although the bread was soggy, and the other items on the plate severely lacking. I ordered the "lobster" cake eggs Benedict. If this was lobster, then I'm the Mother Theresa. It was, by my palate overly processed canned crab meat. At best, overly processed lobster meat, but I highly doubt that given the taste, color, and texture. The CRAB cake itself was meh, the accompanying potato hash was okay, and the hollandaise sauce was passable if not good. We ordered drinks as well. My lemon drop martinis were pretty good. My wife was dissatisfied with her margarita, then ordered a dirty martini that was okay. We walked out with a tab of nearly $200. To say it was worth the money would be absurd. I hate to be so blatantly honest with this review, but this experience (food and drink-wise) was not one I would recommend.
