Sure, but they are a slow growing crop that needs years of watering and tending before they are mature enough to sell at Christmas. The farmers, the transportation, and the tree lots all need to pay their bills. Don't read too much into the other Scrooge review, you'll find just what you're looking for at Daman and Kim's. Be it the size, price point, or variety of tree species, you won't be disappointed. I would also like to add we leave our tree up until the first weekend in January and buy it the Friday after Thanksgiving. We have never had it dry out early.

Purchased a "small size" Giant Sequoia tree from Jonsteen Company and couldn't be happier. After a…read moreweek off for vacation and a visit to Muir Woods in SF, I came back wanting to plant a small tree of my own. I understand, the Giant Sequoia, if taken care of will outlast my family and I (lifespan 3,000 years). It was cool to see the ageless wonders of the California Redwoods and Giant Sequoias up to Muir Woods, I had to get one of my own to plant. I received my small size tree in the mail via USPS in a small tube. Since I worked all day, I came home and was excited to plant the tree in the evening before bed since I did not want the plant to sit too long in the plastic wrapper. Took me a few minutes and everything was set. Along with the small tree came a receipt, some instructions, some history sheet and a sticker. All in all a satisfied online order customer. Check out their website for cool trees and seedlings to plant: https://sequoiatrees.com/

I did not order delicate, wilting flowers - I stuck with hardy rhodies and azaleas. I chose Singing Tree because they appeared to have interesting varietals.
