Turns out this is the home of Wildwood Waffles, and things couldnt smell any better to be honest. Simply put, hats off to the guys and gals at root101, well done! I hope to be back soon!

I enjoyed talking to an older gentleman (about my age) who works there. We talked about fishing, coastal life (since I lived in Mendocino for 16 yrs), and this gem of a store. I highly recommend a stop here. It is on the right hand side just entering town while coming in from the North going South! I really love this store and can not say enough good about it!

I was impressed how colorful the garden appeared, It looked like a blanket of colors from the Heather and Lavendar gardens. Some other gardens were the native plant garden and rose garden. I always love rose gardens, here I'd say it was distinct in that many roses were much larger in circumference. While it's a botanical garden it also has an arboretum feel because of its many trails into the forest. You could walk all the way out to a labyrinth. I think their brochure could have done a better job with listing the trails. Some smaller trails weren't on there and it was a little confusing.
