If I have another chance, I would come back and do the drive again because it's so scenic. However, if you're stuck behind a slow car, it can really make for a frustrating drive. If you plan on driving your car through the ranch, be ready for delays and don't plan anything afterwards that require you to be on time. It was a very hot day so I'm glad we got to sit in our cars with AC. However, our cars were super messy with animal food everywhere. The animals slobber and lick all over the car windows . It's so funny and entertaining.

I even offered to sit in the car the entire time (with the dog) so my 2 daughters could go on the ride through experience. Just so you are aware, here is what the law says... A zoo cannot deny you entry just because you have a service dog. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), zoos are public accommodations and must allow service dogs anywhere the general public is allowed -- with only a few narrow exceptions. --- What the ADA actually says * Zoos must admit service dogs in all public areas. US Service A... * They may only restrict a service dog from specific zones where the dog's presence would disturb or endanger the animals, such as:* Petting zoos * Walk‑through exhibits * Predator/prey enclosures * Back‑of‑house areas These restrictions must be based on real safety concerns, not fear or assumptions. The Seeing Eye * Even when an area is restricted, the zoo must provide an alternate route so you can still enjoy the exhibit. US Service A... * A zoo cannot ban service dogs from the entire facility. US Service A... --- When a zoo can deny access Only two situations allow a zoo to exclude a service dog from a specific area: * The dog is out of control (e.g., barking, lunging, not under handler control). * The dog is not housebroken. These are the only ADA‑approved reasons for exclusion from public areas. tukilost.com --- What staff are allowed to ask Legally, zoo employees may ask only: 1. "Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability?" 2. "What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?" They cannot ask for paperwork, certification, or proof. Lazy 5 Ranch is not exempt from ADA service‑animal laws -- but they are allowed to restrict service dogs from certain areas because of the unique nature of their facility. Here's the full breakdown, grounded in ADA rules and how they apply to walk‑through or drive‑through animal parks. --- ADA rules for places like Lazy 5 Ranch Under the ADA, all public accommodations must allow service dogs. Zoos, aquariums, and wildlife parks fall under this category.

Will definitely come back! For all the different events and just for the farm…read more Great for all ages. 10/10 Staff extremely friendly and very helpful. Animals are kept in clean enclosures and look great. Everything is well maintained on the grounds. Kids loved the Dinosaur meet and greet. Along with the dinosaurs trail. Food and drinks were good, not overpriced. Even the gift shop has fair prices. Which is rare for zoos/petting zoo. Definitely worth buying tickets online.

I hate to leave this review, but, Sweet Valley has left me no choice…read more My guy and I were super excited to stay in what we thought was a " cute camper" to celebrate my birthday and his retirement. What an absolute waste of a five day stay and money. Thursday, upon arrival, it was hot as hell in the camper, no air had been turned on, the water was turned off, the commode didn't work and the cable had been disconnected. The owners cousin was very accommodating and offered us a refund for Thursday night and offered us a cabin, I didn't want to relocate as we had just put all the food up and (I had major surgery and it was hard to be ambulatory), so, we stayed. Three/four men came over to repair all the things that were wrong with Pecan Grove Cabin. No attention had been given to this cabin with paying guest arriving at 3 p.m. The outside of the cabin was just as bad. The two chairs and table were full of cob webs and tree debris, no pictures were taken to memoralize this time together, which further adds negative fuel to this pitiful cabin. Finally, music was piped through the ranch until 11:30 p.m. on Friday, but, quiet time is posted at 11:00. It was rude, way too loud and intrusive. Why? There were no visitors after 9, no respect for your guest. It was a horrible stay at Sweet Valley Ranch and Pecan Grove Cabin. Mr. and Mrs. Surgeon, we were more than saddened and disappointed by our stay at your Ranch. Our whole 5 days should have been comped. Guest BE WARE!

So nice and was making sure I had something. Waitress arrived with a metal spoon and I gave her the setup for someone else. Waitress name Tiara. Would recommend her to anyone. If you are a sports fan, they have 1 million TVs everywhere inside so you will not miss your game that you're watching . Everything inside looked really, really clean and well presented and they have all kind of sports stuff hanging on the walls and it's really really cool . Our service was outstanding. A very nice lady took care of us welcomed us, gave us our menus and explained a lot of the features that they are known for and she was also very attentive for our drinks, which is very nice. We ordered some appetizers and burger, burgers, a child's pizza, some fish and wings and everything came out hot and well presented . Would we come back here and dine again yes indeed it was a really nice dinner experience and the food was very flavorful and bountiful .

At first glance,…read morenothing particularly stood out about the restaurant, but I believe in giving places a fair chance. When we arrived, my oldest son, who is seven years old and enjoys helping others, politely asked the staff if there was anything he could do to assist. Afterward, he went to find a table for our family. While I was helping our youngest child get situated, a young boy who appeared to be between 8 and 11 years old and was working behind the counter made the comment, "Can you hand this to him? He's like a runaway slave." The comment was completely unprovoked and deeply offensive. It immediately caused my wife to lose her appetite, and we chose to leave the restaurant without ordering. What was equally concerning was that the adults who appeared to be related to or supervising the child were nearby and offered no correction or response. My wife, shocked by what she had heard, asked for clarification, and the boy repeated the statement that our son was "like a runaway slave." Comments like this should not be dismissed as harmless. The fact that this remark came from someone working behind the counter, in front of customers, makes it even more troubling. It reflects attitudes and behaviors that are being learned and reinforced somewhere, and the lack of any correction from the adults present only added to our concern. I found the experience unacceptable and felt it was important to share. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend spending my hard-earned money at this establishment, nor would I encourage others to do so.
