I recently read a post listed by Mike T. I am in the exact same position that he is. my vehicle is a 2022 in very good condition. I went to the Mr. Car Wash on Slide Road. I was missing paint on the hood of my vehicle a little smaller than the size of a dollar bill. We were contacted by management and advised that this was caused by a rock chip. I am guessing that this is the "rubber stamp" answer. I am sure that the pressure washer used a few feet from my vehicle had nothing to do with this incident. I will take them to small claims court. They will be represented by counsel. I will be there as a matter of principle. They have no problem charging upwards of $20 for a wash but will not take any responsibility for damage. Lubbock people do not deserve deceptive businesses practices when supporting local businesses. The good thing is there are plenty of reputable businesses that appreciate the business. read more

BEWARE! The pressure from this car wash ripped the paint off my vehicle. They claimed it was caused by existing rock chips, which feels like a convenient excuse. It's concerning that they have a dedicated claims department--clearly this isn't an isolated issue. After filing a claim, I received no follow-up and had to personally contact the GM, Matt Vining. He offered a weak explanation and refused to take responsibility, calling it "normal wear and tear"--which would supposedly apply to every car that uses their wash. Due to their lack of accountability, I am now in the process of taking this matter to small claims court. read more

Great customer service! Super friendly and helpful check in associate. I had to run my suv through the wash for a 2nd time because I noticed some texture on my car after going through it. There was a terrible dust/dirt/rain storm yesterday and my suv was very dirty. The GM was very helpful and he was just as confused about these grainy bits on my white SUV as I was. He told me trees can "mist" and maybe it was from the trees on my property. I called my tree guy and he said that's actually a thing and that tree sap and particles can freeze and can also blow in from elsewhere too. So bottom line, while this location doesn't offer all that they could (towels, and a mechanism to wash car mats would help them differentiate themselves from all the other car washes), I found the staff to be very pleasant, helpful, and concerned about the situation. Attitude can make all the difference and these guys have a great attitude. It's not a fancy car wash but the people are pleasant and that sure beats the alternative. I got the mid range car wash and it seemed priced a bit high. But they have a free vacuum which is nice. read more

There are no decent carwash services in Lubbock. All are about the same...never can get a good wash and forget about any type of towel drying. Prices keep goin up and service keeps getting worse. read more

After several years of having 3 vehicles under a subscription, my new truck WAS DAMAGED IN THE CAR WASH, leaving scratches down both sides of the vehicle.  Incident Claim was filed and they said that cameras could not see any previous damage when it came in but that camera pics were grainy so they denied the claim since they couldn't be sure.  I don't need their money, and I am aware they are a large business and don't need mine.  This review is personally therapeutic and if it keeps one person from getting their car washed at Mister, it was worth the minute it took to type it. read more

The worst customer service experience I have ever had. I went through the car wash, they rush cars through, and the soap was not all the way rinsed off. The back of my car was covered in suds. I went back around to go through the cycle again, just simply wanting the soap to be washed off. The manager proceeded to come out with a towel, wipe the soap off and not say anything to me. After approaching him (Logan) he proceeded to tell me it was fine and all gone. I checked my car and there was still soap on my trunk. He would not do anything about it. Very poor management, even worse customer service. Biggest waste of $15 read more

I am on their monthly unlimited car wash for both my vehicles. The Quaker location employee service sucks. You drive up with bugs and poop on Windows and they just wave at you as you go through initial gate. Then you enter the car wash and get waived at again, no spray again, this happens every time we go through. Every one of their car washes have constant dirty dryer rollers, windows are streaked to hell every time, you have to clean them yourself. I have brought this to their attention many times, nothing gets done. I will be canceling with them and go back to might wash!!!!!!! read more

as stated in my previous review, the windshield wiper motor was broken in the car wash. The lady told us "oh they're most likely gonna deny the request of paying for the damage" because according to HER assessment this was previous damage. guess what it wasn't previous damage and now Mister Car Wash is paying for the damages done to the car. thanks mister car wash!! #dontmesswithme read more

Excellent customer service! When we stopped to get a car wash, we forgot there was a stroller in the back of the pickup and the very polite employee at the entrance reminded us and then took it out of the bed of the pickup and saved it there for us to pick up after the wash. I went to this car wash today to get my husband's truck washed for part of his Father's Day present. I purchased the most expensive wash for $18. I even discussed a membership with the out front sales girl as we'll be moving to the area soon. I told her I really wanted all the bugs off of the car as my husband really likes a clean truck, but has had too much going on lately (the move) to keep it as clean as he normally does. I went through, and the guy at the beginning sorta scrubbed the windshield, but not really. There was no attention paid to the wheels, the undercarriage, nothing that was supposed to be on this level of wash. I figured it would get done at the end and got my tip money ready. Unfortunately, the guys at the end BARELY wiped the extreme sides of the windshield. Nothing in the middle was cleaned at all. There was still LARGE areas of yellow bug guts on the windshield. So, I went through again. The guy AND the girl assured me that it would all be taken care of this time. They said they'd tell the guys. I don't know if they did or not, but when I went through again, I had to point to places that the scrubber guy didn't get. At the end, there was still a sloppy job done and it was NOT worth the $18. I had to be somewhere, so we vacuumed out the vehicle and planned to step into the office to let them know I wouldn't be back. Turns out, the doors are locked. So I called and told the girl my experience. She asked if I wanted to speak with a manager. I said that'd be great! And then I was promptly hung up on. I called immediately back and it went straight to voicemail. Of course. I left a message with my number. It is now after hours and I haven't heard from them. I won't be back. Too many car washes in Lubbock to waste my time. I did not receive an $18 car wash. I received about a $5 car wash from high school kids. Don't waste your time or your money! read more

Brought a car with a lot of dirt and bug splats. After the wash, the car was clean with no damage! Also, the staffs spray and scrub where it is needed the most, specially those nasty bug splats! It was worth the money and would come here again! read more

understaffed. Have been very happy until recently. One person doing pre scrub which does not allow to scrub lower portion of car or scrub away bugs. Kids drying are not using clean dry rags, which leave a dirty film on glass. Vacuums pressure is so poor that it is hard to clean carpets without 15 to 20 passes. I had heard all the good about this car wash from friends and yelp. I was severely disappointed today when I went today. The guy that wrote the ticket for my car was very rude like I disturbed him didn't offer my receipt for the wash then the guys in the tunnel didn't help line me up at the tunnel then yelled because I ran over the guide and was very rude. I pay monthly and go at least once a week due to our lovely weather. Guys always do a good job and definitely worth the 20 bucks a month. Quick Quack is ghetto in my opinion. Just because it's cheaper doesn't mean it's better. read more

Where do I start..? Visited this location on 3/12/2016 to get my brand new 2015 Dodge Charger R/T a premium wash. After receiving the service I stepped out of my car to vacuum and immediately noticed the scratches on my new vehicle. I had a General manager come out and fill out an incident report right after. I was told I would be contacted later by higher authority and I was contacted a week later for them to take a look at the damage. After I waited a week I was told they're machine did not do the damage when I know it did!!! It couldn't of been anything else. So we decided to go higher and again I was supposed to be contacted by the regional manager to discuss the incident. I STILL to this day have NOT heard anything from the business or employees. I have called, emailed, now I have to comment. I feel like they are avoiding the situation hoping it will go away and that is horrible business ethic and service!!! I will not stop until it is resolved. If I could leave 0 STARS I would but Google wouldn't allow that. Do not use this service. read more
