Sure, you can get something cheaper but their reliability , punctuality and dedication is something to consider when you book . I needed fool proof , reliable transport in Los Angeles for traveling from the airport to Monterey Park , then from Monterey Park to San Pedro cruise terminal . I thought on the way back I could book two ubers, simply because I didn't know when I could get off and reAlly couldn't give them a pick up time in advance . Well , I was Wrong . Lyft malfunctioned and I couldn't even figure out for half an hour if they would come . I called John ( owner ) and he surprised me to say that he would send someone within twenty five minutes . The person came within twenty five minutes . We were so glad to get our transport to the double tree in El Segundo. The price was very reasonable. The person who came to pick us up at the airport and in Monterey park , arrived 20 minutes early for us !!!! This is the dedication and sincerity I'm talking about . All the drivers were professional , kind and helpful with our luggage . And when I spoke with John for the initial concerns I had , John was so courteous and eager without being pushy about my concerns . The vehicles were very spacious too. They also give you free car seats to use - many other services may tell you that you don't need it . False ! It is the law here to use one , I did check with law enforcement. They really do care about the customers . From now on whenever we are in LA, we will only use Sav- on - shuttle. Will recommend to everyone

SAV-ON SHUTTLE DOES NOT GO TO INGLEWOOD. How do I know…read morethis? Does their website say that they do not go to Inglewood? No. Does their Yelp profile say that they do not go to Inglewood? No. As a matter of fact, as of this post, if you look at the map of their service area, you will see Inglewood completely covered. At any point during the online booking process, did they prevent me from completing the booking because they do not go to Inglewood? No. I found this out the morning of my ride, when I called to find out where they were. Then the man on the phone told me, "We don't go to Inglewood." So now, dear reader, you know as well. Thanks Sav-On Shuttle, for wasting my time.

Metro Blue Line has got to be the worst line out of all the Metrorail lines in Los Angeles and Los…read moreAngeles County. Many Homeless people hitch this line from Downtown Los Angeles to Downtown Long Beach or vice versa. The smell is horrible! The majority of people riding on this train are lower class income people that has no personal etiquette. This train is out of control. This line lacks safety for your well-being. You hardly see security or law enforcement on this line. Beware of this line, you will encounter all types of people that are crazy, deranged, violent, smelly, loud, strange, weird etc.. You name it. Overall, it's a solid line for transportation from Point A-B. It's safe pertaining to engineering and train conductors. The people inside determines your experience. Ride at your own risk. This depends on the individual riding. If you have street smart and have a thick coat to tolerate these kind of things. You are good to go. So that is why I put a Maybe in rating. Public Transportation is not for everyone. Stay safe

I hadn't ridden the metro since pre-covid and I was a little apprehensive in doing so as I had read…read moreabout so many fatal incidents occurring between passengers during covid up until a year ago. I was invited to a friend's holiday party and he lives near the VT Sunset station and didn't feel like dealing with traffic so I decided to take the metro. Nothing has really changed other than the A line (formerly blue line) goes all the way to Pomona now (used to end at 7th St Metro station). They now have some Metro guards that hop on and then off at Rosa Parks station. How about for the entire duration of the route??? One thing I've noticed is the day pass went back down to 5.00 (from 7.00) and the 1.75 fare (one way) has remained the same amount since before covid (probably to keep people riding it). The one pro to this station is plenty of free parking and there were a ton of spots available.
