Unqualified teachers, subpar equipment, truculent administrators. Stay away.

My son began his art classes at Drawn2Art Montrose when he was 5 years old after taking a free…read moretrial class and loving it. He hasn't stopped taking classes for the past eleven years and still looks forward to his time spent in the studio each week. Susana and her team have always maintained a positive and loving environment that has fostered his creativity and potential as an artist. The love he has for art and the many skills he has learned throughout the years are a result of the dedication and passion that the teachers put into each and every class. I feel very fortunate to have found Drawn2Art so many years ago and will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for an art class for their child.

I highly recommend the Montrose location of Drawn2Art! My daughter has been taking regular classes…read morehere for the last four years. She started with their weeklong camps during school breaks and signed up for regular classes because she enjoyed the instruction so much. I have really appreciated how personalized the experience has been. After going through multiple tracks of the year-round art curriculum, my daughter wanted to focus more on portraiture, which isn't typically offered. The Montrose team went above and beyond to develop a portraiture curriculum which she has pursued for the last 3+ years. In addition, the staff has helped us find solutions to accommodate scheduling conflicts that impacted her regular classes. She has developed strong relationships with multiple teachers, all of whom have been incredibly supportive and invested in her art journey. We're really grateful for the staff who have shared their expertise to help her learn and grow as an artist.

Also there is a lot across from the Art building that is free as well. Upon entering check in with the security log your name and time and they will give a name tag for the exhibit. It is not a big exhibit at but lots to see especially all the culture and influences which make what J-Town in LA was all about back in the day during the Nisei Week festivities and the history of the cultural and what cruising was all about. Overall a very nice put together exhibit and brings back lots of memories of Nisei Week and cruising the Obon carnivals all leading up to the big Nisei Obon carnival cruise. It was also nice to see a friend's car displayed at the exhibit Tod's Datsun 510.

Quite small so when I asked if there were more to see, I was led to the transportation design area. Both were quite small but interesting. Then I asked a random student if there were more art displays and that's when I hit the jackpot! He was gracious enough to take me on a guided tour of the campus to see illustrations and paintings from other student artists. Huge shout out to him if he ever reads this review for being so kind to take me around, a random stranger helping another stranger. I've been to many art galleries and museums all over the world and was really impressed. Students here are super talented and I applaud your work and passion to pursue your talents. He had key card access to all the floors so if it weren't for him, I wouldn't have been able to see much. Was told that they do have public displays where you could purchase them. Free parking on campus and the exhibits close at 8pm. I had a fantastic time! Didn't take pictures of the student artwork since they were not for public display.
