I am enjoying my experience at the studio very much. The space is clean and organized and the rules are fair and clear, which is very important for a shared space. There is always enough equipment and space so I have not had to stand in line and wait ever. Armand is a good teacher. He provides constructive feedback which is very helpful for my development as a potter. I started classes in October and now I am able to create pieces I am proud of. Armand is a fabulous teacher! Another student at the studio where I first studied throwing on the wheel recommended him to me. He takes the time to carefully explain and demonstrate each step of his specific method, then assist each student. The smaller class size at his studio helps students learn the complicated and nuanced art of throwing, where so many things can go wrong. I was impressed with how well each student did under his instruction. I struggled much more initially in a studio that had larger class sizes. This was my first time working with clay and (owner/teacher) Armand made the experience so enjoyable. He is an incredible potter and is also a great teacher. He is patient, thorough, and dedicated to the success of every student. The class size was held at 6 students so it always felt as though I was receiving very focused instruction and individualized attention. Armand is a dangerous, unhinged individual. He puts on a friendly act but is deeply unwell. I was a member here for three weeks, during which I accidentally left a window open in the studio overnight. The next time he saw me, I asked to speak with him to apologize. Just a few seconds into the conversation, he completely lost his temper and became physically and verbally threatening. He literally tried to fight me -- it was one of the most frightening experiences of my life. I sincerely hope he would never treat a woman the way he treated me, but seeing how quickly he lost control, I strongly encourage you to reconsider going here if you are a woman. Under no circumstance should you send your child here unattended. Edit: the white-knight act is extra creepy considering whats happened. Instead of addressing the lies in your reply, ill just say I've never left a negative review of a business, ever. You can verify that. With a temper like yours, you're your own worst enemy and this is bound to happen again. read more

My daughter went to summer camp for a week. WHAT A WAIST OF MONEY!!!! They say they are teaching kids how to use the wheel and do pottery.. Not true My daughter came home with all this little stuff that wasn't anything close to a pot.. Be aware of this place it seems to be all talk and not a good place to learn. read more

I began with zero experience, repeated the level 1 class twice, and recently completed the level 2 class with Armand. He is a highly considerate, perceptive, and observant teacher who guided me through the transition from grasping the foundational principles, learning to accept my mistakes along the way, to creating intricate works that I love. Moving from level 1 to level 2, I acquired knowledge in centering clay, various pulling methods, trimming, glazing, creating handles, crafting lidded jars, and other skills that aided in my progress within the craft. All of this would not have been possible without Armand's diligent guidance. The knowledge and education that he provides is absolutely worth every penny. I'm so glad we found this pottery school and camp for my girls. Their 3 hour classes were perfect. My daughters have been to their share of camps and they said this was their favorite! They even liked cleaning up at the end of the day and said it was satisfying. I can't wait to see what treasures they'll bring home. Armand and his team of workers were so nice.
