So I am going on 14 months after the surgery. I am just as pleased as I was right after. Couldn't have made a better decision.

Dr. Doezie removed my breast implants and he did an amazing job. I had a previous doctor put in my implants and I developed a problem healing on my right side, resulting in a rather odd shaped right breast. When Dr. Doezie removed my implants he also reshaped my right breast and evened out both of my breasts so that they look identical, round and smooth and I have had no healing issues whatsoever. I couldn't be happier. Additionally, he and his staff took the best care of me, with pre and post vitamins, a super bra and just in general are all very professional and proactive. I would recommend Dr. Doezie and his staff to anyone wanting to feel that they are in good hands, because they are. Linda Aliso Viejo, CA.

I had some bad facial surgeries about thirty years ago. The facial scars embarrassed and bothered me ever since. I went to many plastic surgeons over the years, and many of them told me that I had to wait, some just told me that can't do anything about it. Half of my life, every morning the first thing after I got up, I was trying to hide my scars on my face. A year ago, my husband searched online again, he found Dr. Doezie. Dr. Doezie removed the old scars, repaired the related damages. He had done such a great job, everything looked as normal as it could be, and we are so grateful.

Can not thank Dr. Kaufman enough, especially after Head and Neck associates passed me off years ago saying there was nothing wrong and that I just had allergies. I feel like my head is actually lighter, breathing is a joy, and as a musician I've already seen a great improvement in my performance. The surgery center office was very easy to work with and I have not experienced any surprise bills, Dr. Kaufman's office was fantastic about checking in during the recovery and making sure that all of my needs and questions were met/answered. I hope this review helps someone make a decision in the future on yelp, and I've already mentioned the practice to multiple friends and family.

Highly recommend Dr. Kaufman, his team and La Veta Surgical Center. Full review: Have wanted to get my deviated septum fixed for years. Could barely breathe on one side. Finally made an appointment after my husband found South Coast ENT on Google. Initial consultation was pretty quick. He confirmed what a previous CT scan had shown just by taking a look. Also noted my turbinates should be reduced too. - Was given instructions for two weeks pre-op, including notes about medication. Informed me of possible scenarios, but he also explained what he's typically seen. (If I remember correctly, I believe he said he's been doing these procedures for around 20-25 years.) - Had a pre-op appointment the week before. Was given a list of what to prepare, including saline, elevated sleeping arrangement, and extended list of what to expect. (Was able to buy saline and wedge pillow at Costco.) - Between the initial and pre-op appointment, visited both of Dr. Kaufman's offices. Everyone was friendly and explained things thoroughly. - As promised, surgery center called to set the exact surgery time the day before. - Arrived at the surgery center at 5:45am for check in. Was very impressed with amount of nurses, surgeons, staff, and operating rooms there. Despite the amount of people in the waiting room, everything went like clockwork. Seemed like they paced people checking in with those going into the pre-op area pretty well. Everyone was very nice and answered any questions I had. (Always somewhat nervous about surgery, but they reassured me a few times.) - One nurse did my intake while another nurse took my vitals. Third nurse checked on me while I waited, then the anesthesiologist explained their process. Dr. Kaufman came by after to chat before prepping. And then a fourth nurse who was going to be in the procedure helped the anesthesiologist prep me. Even with the amount of people involved, everyone was up to speed based on my chart of anything they needed to be aware of (including adverse reactions.) Other places might have felt overwhelming with that amount of people. In this case, it was an added reassurance how coordinated they were. Also didn't feel rushed and had some time to rest. - For septoplasty and turbinate reduction, procedure and anesthesia in total was between 45 min to an hour. (Awake before the person picking me up arrived from dropping off their kids at school.) Was under observation for a little while in a post-op area after. No packing in my nose, just a nose dressing under (with little hooks around the ears.) Was already able to breathe better than I had ever before. Some nausea that afternoon from the anesthesia, but that is normal for me. - Had no issues with recovery, despite what previous ENTs had informed me of. No packing needed. Very little spotting after first day. Drainage primarily the first week, but saline helped a lot. A little bit of a burning sensation when breathing deeply, especially on the side that had been blocked before (almost like it wasn't used to that much air coming in.) But that subsided as it healed. Took the antibiotics prescribed, but only needed an occasional acetaminophen / Tylenol for pain. Was more tired than I anticipated, but a few acquaintances told me they felt the same after other outpatient surgeries. (Sounds like it's just a part of the healing process.) - Both Dr. Kaufman and the surgery center called to check on me the next day. - At the one-week check up, healing looked great. Despite Dr. Kaufman having a steady flow of patients, he asked follow up questions to make sure everything was going well. He also helped clear some of the drainage. Stitches dissolved on their own, so he didn't need to remove those. Wait time was a little longer for this appointment than the others, but I was more than okay with that given how well the surgery went. (He seems to balance having some appointment / check in days and some surgery days well.) - One-month post op and I'm feeling great. Sleeping better than I ever have and have felt more energy throughout the day. Also feeling less anxious overall to the point that my family has noticed. (At the very least, getting more rest is probably helping with that.) Have already recommended Dr. Kaufman to a few friends who want to have their breathing looked at. As mentioned, was a much better experience than I could have ever anticipated.

He was the first doctor to point out how my face wasn't symmetrical due to my cerebral palsy and gave advice right away on what could be done to fix it. I also had a really difficult nose to operate on in my opinion because of the shape and severe breathing problems. He fixed my problem perfectly and made my nose look a million times better. My brow lift, fat transfer, chin implant, and rhinoplasty all turned out amazing and made my appearance much better. I'm very happy with my results and I'm incredibly thankful! Even if I forgot to ask a question or forgot some instructions the staff and doctor were soo helpful when I came back or called to ask. I initially consulted with Dr. Chasan regarding a minor rhinoplasty to soften a bump on my nose and…read moreslightly refine the nasal tip. During the consultation, Dr. Chasan stated "Let's address the low-hanging fruit," stating that "with your eye hooding, a nose job alone won't brighten your face." I expressed concern about undergoing any facial procedure that could result in visible scarring. Having lived with a facial scar since childhood, avoiding additional visible scars was extremely important to me. I specifically asked whether a brow lift would be a better option. Dr. Chasan told me that a brow lift would not adequately address the hooding of my eyelids. I then asked for assurance that any incisions from an eyelid procedure would be concealed within the natural creases of my eyelids. Dr. Chasan assured me that I would have no visible scarring and emphasized his extensive experience performing this procedure. Based on these representations, both my mother and I believed he was qualified to perform the surgery safely and appropriately. My mother subsequently provided the additional funds necessary to add a bilateral upper blepharoplasty to my rhinoplasty. On the day of surgery, Dr. Chasan entered the preoperative room and marked my eyelids freehand with a surgical marker. Although his assistant had placed measuring instruments on the counter, he did not use them. He performed no measurements, no objective assessment of brow position, and no evaluation of eyelid laxity, although these preassessments are laid out on his website. He did not lift my brows or perform any detailed examination of the structures surrounding my eyes. In fact, he performed no physical examination of my face with his hands or any device before making the surgical markings. Following surgery, my mother and I were shocked by the outcome. The incisions extended beyond the natural boundaries of my eyelids and curved upward toward my eyebrows rather than remaining hidden within the eyelid creases as I had been assured, and my eyelid creases had been raised up into an unnatural and unsightly position. In addition, my eyebrows appeared pulled downward into a lower position and were noticeably uneven. The resulting appearance was dramatically different from what had been discussed during the consultation and contrary to the assurances I was given regarding incision placement and visible scarring. Instead, I was left with permanently lowered brows and a constant sad and tired appearance due to the altered shape of my eyes. I later learned that excess skin, muscle, and fat had been removed from my eyelids--procedures for which I DID NOT provide informed consent. My nose also appears collapsed, lacks definition, and looks nothing like the reference photos Dr. Chasan specifically asked me to provide before surgery. When I raised concerns during my post-operative appointments, Dr. Chasan became dismissive and defensive. Even after my mother insisted that he compare my before-and-after photographs, he refused to acknowledge the significant changes to my appearance. When we asked why my eyes appeared misshapen and why I had scars extending beyond my natural eyelid creases, he became irritated and stated, "I feel like I'm being attacked," rather than addressing our concerns. At no point did Dr. Chasan disclose that he had removed muscle and fat from my eyelids. I only learned the extent of what had been done after obtaining and reviewing my operative report. To this day, he has never explained why these procedures were performed or why they were necessary. I have since consulted with other specialists, who have informed me that there is little that can be done to restore my brows to a natural position. Any attempt at correction would likely require skin grafting and could create additional cosmetic issues. There is a chance that the shape of my eyes can be improved, with the initial surgery costing over $30,000. Dr. Chasan never informed me that he was going to be removing muscle and fat from my eyes, only a small amount of skin. He never warned me than my eyebrows would be permanently pulled down out of their natural placement. He never warned me that I would be left with such an odd appearance, that I wouldn't be able to fully close my eyes, and that I would be in chronic pain for over a year now. I am devastated, and my family and friends are devastated for me, by both the outcome and the way my concerns were handled. He was dismissive and refused to address my concerns. When I began crying in his office, he said "Enough of the emotional stuff!" I rarely leave my home, I am embarrassed for my family and my husband's friends to see me, and cannot take photos with my young daughters. None of us ever imagined that I would be left with permanent facial disfigurement and unanswered questions about the procedures performed. While there may be little that can be done to reverse what happened to me, I am sharing to help others.

Melissa and Cynthia are truly exceptional providers!!! Thank you for helping correct my skin! I've never felt so confident without wearing makeup!! (: From the moment I walked in, the clinic felt clean, modern, and very professionally run. The front desk team (special shout out to Emily & Tima!) was warm, organized, and respectful of my time -- check-in was seamless and I never felt rushed or overlooked. You can tell they value patient experience just as much as clinical outcomes. The consultation was incredibly thorough. They took time to evaluate my skin, explain the technology being used, discuss realistic expectations, and review pre- and post-care in detail. I really appreciated that nothing felt "salesy." Instead, the focus was clearly on safety, education, and choosing the right treatment for my skin and goals. During my treatment, Cynthia was extremely skilled and attentive. She checked in frequently about comfort level, explained every step of the procedure, and confidence. I felt completely safe and cared for the entire time. Melissa also thoroughly took the time to build out my skin care routine and educate me on the importance of post care. Most importantly -- the results. I am genuinely thrilled. I noticed improvement sooner than expected, and my skin looks smoother, clearer, and more refreshed. The outcome looks natural and healthy, not overdone, which was very important to me. I would absolutely return for future treatments and already started recommending to friends and family. I highly recommend Neoderma if anyone is looking for results-driven, ethical care!!!

She also recommended using a melanin inhibitor beforehand because it would make the laser treatments more effective. I asked whether the products were vegan and cruelty-free. She said she'd go ask, but she came back without an answer. Before leaving, I scheduled my first PicoWay treatment for the following week. When I returned for the appointment, I saw a different PA, Sheri, who gave me different information. She told me the brown spots on my leg actually could not be treated with the laser after all, and that I would likely need 6-12 treatments rather than 4-6. She also did not know whether the recommended products were vegan and cruelty-free. Additionally, she explained that I was supposed to use the products for several weeks before beginning laser treatments -- something I had not been told during the original consultation. The first PA had mentioned the products, but never explained that pre-treatment use was required before starting the laser. Sheri contacted the product representative to ask about the vegan status of the products, but the rep was unsure and could not provide any timeline for getting an answer. At that point, I left without receiving treatment. Both PAs were friendly and professional, but I was frustrated by the lack of consistency and communication. I would have appreciated someone following up about whether the products were vegan before I came in expecting to begin treatment. Instead, I wasted time coming to an appointment that ultimately could not proceed. It also concerned me that the providers were not on the same page regarding what could actually be treated or how many sessions would realistically be required. It has now been about a month since that appointment, and nobody ever followed up regarding whether the products were vegan, despite assuring me that they would. I ultimately went to a dermatologist, who explained that the mole and brown spots should not be treated with laser in the first place. She excised the mole for less than the estimated cost of four laser sessions. Based on my experience, I would recommend seeing a dermatologist for concerns like these, since they are medical skin specialists.
