Mission Garden is not only beautiful year round, but it also provides a unique look into Tucson's history through agriculture. I can spend hours here, learning about the various plants and farming methods, and I love that our climate allows for blooms and flowering plants any time of the year. The garden is beautiful in the spring, of course, but also lush and green in the winter months. I definitely recommend visiting during some of their tasting events, and don't forget to check out the market on your way out for delicious jams and marmalades made from citrus at the garden. Mission Garden is a great place to take out of town guests, but also a must-see for residents who haven't yet been.

Such a wonderful place that I absolutely love visiting. Being a big foodie I love their Tasting History programs. They always have very interesting and educational things and delicious food made with the food they grow. I so much look forward to these. They also make wonderful creative jams that are sooo delicious form their produce. I also have enjoyed their other programs that included native agriculture language. Such a special place.

Shelby and the chickens

This magical garden is a real hidden gem. I stumbled upon it one Sunday morning when taking my dog Shelby for a ride! Garden employee Megan was very welcoming and kindly helped me back my car out of the dirt entry path (more complicated and dramatic than it sounds), which I initially had not realized was not for traffic. Shelby, who stayed on leash the entire time as required, loved the Hollyhocks and the chickens and the treats in the garden's very cool store!

We love to go to gardens when we are on vacation and really enjoyed the history of this garden. We happen to come during the Agave festival and it was super fun to be able to try the Agave . Be sure to look at hours before coming as they are limited. Wonderful experience and we learned a lot!

Stunning! Went to the garlic festival this last weekend and they have fruit trees, veggies, flowers and plants of all kind! The gift shop is really cute and it was inspiring seeing all they grow in the desert

This is a work in progress kind of place but definitely worth a visit. It's a place where they are growing foods from the various stages of those living in the Tucson area. It's easy to find, it's at the base of A mountain.

Off the beaten path and quite interesting. Wander through the gardens to learn about Tucson's historic agricultural heritage.

I loved that they sell cuttings of the fig tree. They also sell the fruit. It was really fun to see and I loved walking around it.

Tucked away in the northern area of Tucson we found this beautiful memorial labyrinth. With…read morebenches, natural resources and regular care it's the perfect place for some tranquil meditation and contemplation. The drone footage was definitely necessary to capture the true size of this stunning landmark. There is a trail entrance on Cactus Blvd. with plenty of off street parking if the labyrinth is your destination. Although we didn't walk the entire trail, it's the perfect leisurely path for groups as they are wide and even. There's plenty to see from natural plants, critters and education. It's very well maintained and clean with benches to relax on and shade to cool off in.

If you just want a place to come and meditate, walk on the labyrinth, trail or sit on a bench and enjoy the Mountain View, this is a beautiful preserved peaceful park almost in the center of Tucson. I am unsure of the history of this place but labyrinth are a spiritual experience just to come and meditate as you walk around the earth to the center to find answers to questions you might be in life.
