    Meatballs soup. Delicious

Quick service. Sometimes friendly sometimes not. I always walked in after lunch time. Its quiet and relaxing. I love the carne asada plate here, the meatball soup and chili releno.

Mission Burrito has been a consistently delicious, Mexican-food-craving-satisfying staple in my life for over 30 years now. From something as simple as their salsa, to their crispy chicken tacos, guacamole, & shrimp fajitas... you really cannot go wrong. Service is always friendly and food comes out quickly! We order takeout a bunch and our orders are almost always ready in 15-20 minutes. The only issues we have encountered have been: missing items in our takeout orders and the carne asada in the carne asada taco was overdone, dry and tough. Seating is plentiful, both inside and outside! The vibe is super casual and family friendly. I love that they have a great salsa bar and drink selection as well, including horchata & orange bang! They have $2.25 tacos every Tuesday!

Look at this Big Beautiful Burrito!

Okay, I improvised. Ordered a Vegetarian Burrito with Shredded Beef added to it for takeout. HUGE! When this obese burrito was flipped over onto a plate, there was all this loveliness inside. In addition to being appetizing to look at, it was DEE-licious!!! It could have been shared, but it was so tasty, I savored every bit of its yumminess in just one sitting. This is out-of-the-way location is easy to overlook, but I'll remember to go there again.

Waitress rude upon ordering. I ask if my order came with chips she said no, that is $4.00 extra. I replied why so much she said I don't make the prices. Ordered a giant burrito with chile colorado and an an ice tea. When I went to fill my ice tea and took a sip the ice tea was rancid, I told the waitress she says let me make some more. Some guy came instead and got the ice tea container to change it out. Came back so fast most likely didn't wash it throughly. Got so grossed out I ended up getting some Pepsi. My burrito was cold and the meat was hard and dry, can't even chew it. I'm not ever coming back. People that come here don't know nothing about Mexican food.

Really this place is 3.5 stars. Nothing great, but nothing bad either. We got there and the ambience is basically a local grab and go place but there are tables to sit at if you so choose. Service was friendly and helpful enough. We got got the veggie Tex max burrito and the Chile relleno. It was fine and decently affordable. The food was lacking any real flavor or seasoning but sometimes that's not a huge deal. I think the biggest plus of this place is the ability to grab some fresh salsa whether it be mild or spicy to your liking. Overall, this place is alright. Nothing crazy but also forgettable. If you are in the area and want something a little more fresh than Taco Bell, I would recommend it.

Let's start off with location wise it's very centrally located in the valley so you can get to it fairly quick. Parking was not it's best. It is on Ventura Blvd so street parking is very difficult. They do have onsite parking in the back but there's only about 5 spots only and it seems like most of them are take either by staff or delivery vehicles. Now walking into this place you are def transported into a very lively Mexican culture that is undeniably amazing. I loved the decor and how you just feel at home. They are playing music the whole time loud enough for you to feel the vibes but still be able to have conversations. Now the food let me just say 10/10. I had the mole the presentation is amazing and the taste of it is even better. My fiancé had the aguachiles con mango which he says are also a 10/10. Finally my mother ordered the queso birria tacos which were pretty good as well. The margarita flight was def my favorite, I am not a big margarita fan as they tend to be a bit sweet for my liking but these were actually pretty well balanced and delicious. Overall I had a great experience the service was good. Will def be coming back and will recommend.

We ordered and rated the following dishes: Guacamole: 9/10 HH tinga Nachos: 7.5/10 (flavor was there but most chips were burnt) HH Taquitos papas: 9/10 great flavor and sauce HH steak tacos: 7.5/10 the corn and portion of meat to the taco was very good. I use the El Torito app, which gives the users many promotional offers, and one is a free birthday entrée each year. The night we most recently stopped by, my significant other and I decided at the last minute to take advantage of the offer before it expired. For the first time in a long time, we dined in the regular dining area rather than the cantina. Our server was Victor, and I noticed another person with him. I asked her if she was training and she said she was. As it turned out, it was first day working at El Torito. Although it was Reina's first day at the restaurant, it was not her first day working in a restaurant! She was a true pro!! Between the two of them, we were taken care of throughout the night. We even had a visit from Sam after I mentioned his name to Victor, and it was so nice to say hi since he was not working the last couple of times I was there. He even made sure to ensure that I had a birthday dessert. The food was prepared well and was delicious. I tried the seafood taco trio and was happy to be able to get a combination of shrimp and mahi mahi tacos. My significant other got the sizzling enchiladas. We also had salads, and overall, it was a lot of food. The manager, Matthew, also stopped by to check on us throughout the evening. Everyone really made an effort to make the birthday dinner special. The burrito is massive, perfectly wrapped, and completely smothered in a rich, flavorful sauce that strikes that ideal balance between bold and comforting. Every bite is loaded with well-seasoned meat, fresh ingredients, and just the right amount of cheese melted over the top. What really sets Las Fuentes apart is the depth of flavor. The sauce isn't just an afterthought--it's the star, tying everything together with a savory, slightly tangy kick that keeps you coming back for more. The rice and beans on the side are just as impressive, clearly made with care and not just filler on the plate. The portions are generous, the prices are fair, and the overall experience feels authentic and satisfying. The service and vibe were also amazing. I was so disappointed in the food and service! I ordered a tostada (besides my better judgement of ordering what I typically do, which is a gringo style wet burrito). I specifically asked the cashier if it came in the fried shell bowl. She said yes and that I can choose between flour or corn. I asked if the size or look were different, and she said no, so I ordered corn. It came out as a plate of just unseasoned mess. The carnitas were extremely dry and had no flavor, despite drowning it in whatever sauces were available. My husband's plate is what he normally gets too, carne asada plate. Dry and no flavor. A nearby table received their order and they also ordered a tostada that came with the shell. I asked the waitress (who was the same lady to took our order) what they ordered and she said tostada. When I told them mine came out the way it did, she said that was my fault for ordering corn. I felt that it was misleading despite me asking questions. She said she will bring out a flour tostada. I was fine up until this point because it was a simple mistake on both our ends. However, another waitress who brought out the flour tostada started speaking to me in Spanish, then repeated in English "this is flour, this is corn (while pointing at my plate)" in the most condescending manner. I will never go back here and I understand why the ratings have gone down significantly. They opened another location in Chatsworth, with worse ratings and I can confidently say I will never go back nor recommend it to anyone!

I don't know if their having to rebuild had anything to do with improving what was already great food, but this visit, the food was better than ever. We usually find their rice and beans to be a bit bland, but we never cared because we were too busy filling up on the tacos, chips, salsa and guac... but THIS time... I completely polished off the rice and beans. They really added a lot of flavor to both items. The rice was really flavorful, and the beans really had a nice punch of flavor, too... more than in the past. As for the shrimp tacos, I always get the same delicious, stuffed with loads of shrimp tacos served on freshly made corn tortillas. I avoid their hot sauce cuz it's way too hot, and I nix the cilantro cuz I just don't like it. I still get the chopped onions but ask that they only give me a small amount (they usually put on as much onion as there is shrimp, and that's just too much for me. I do, however, add lots of guac and the milder salsa (the chips salsa), and my tacos are then perfection. The 3 tacos, coupled with the rice and beans, we loved every bite of food we had. I'm so glad that freak accident of someone crashing through their window didn't ruin their business forever. It was a pleasure finding them back in business, better than ever.
