Almost every Wednesday evening right before 730 yoga, it's brisket and beer at Mission BBQ! This routine helps with that final climb over hump day! The food is good, the employees are friendly and helpful, and the story and mission behind Mission BBQ is awesome: "Proudly serving those who serve". They have regular "black plate" specials. My favorite is the espresso ribeye for $15. It is a good size portion of flavorful meat at an affordable price. For $5, you can get a "heroes cup", which gives you discounted refills on your subsequent visits. There is a variety of sauces on the table to dress your meat of choice which includes: chicken, brisket, turkey, and ribs. They also have salmon for you pescatarians. I have yet to try the desert options but the banana pudding is on my list to check off. They have outdoor seating and share a parking lot with Blaze Pizza next door. Kids meals are available which include sliders and Mac and cheese. They also have canned beers and a variety of other drinks if you're looking for something other than tea, lemonade, or fountain sodas. They also provide free meals to service men and women on certain holidays such as veterans day and 9.11 to recognize them.

I have visited other Mission BBQ locations and have always been very satisfied with the food and their support for first responders makes it even more desirable. The food is freshly made and has great taste. We had the smoked ribeye, pulled pork and half a chicken with Mac-n-cheese, collard greens, fresh cut French fries and corn bread. The servers were very helpful with explaining the menu options. The military and first responder decor was fun!

Thanks to Matt and his fantastic staff we are set for an unexpected holiday gathering. With holidays here, Mission BBQ has many options to relieve your cooking needs. Mission at SR 54 and Sunlake in Pasco has come to our rescue for this Thanksgiving with an added pre holiday get together. Matt and all his fantastic staff went over ideas and options with us and we have pre-ordered turkey by the pound (not sliced to keep in moisture and comes with cornbread), which is sold by the half pound, and we ordered several larger portion sides of green beans, baked beans, sweet potato mash, cheesy potatoes and apple cobbler. All for pick honest Tuesday. The SR 54 store is a warm and happy location, and we just had a fun birthday celebration there. Smiles abound with good food and fully tummies. TIP: The large cups support Wreaths Across America this season.

Brisket, Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage, Mac and Cheese, Cornbread, fries great portion sizes.4 sauces. I liked Memphis belle and Alabama white.

I have been wanting to try this place! Happy I did from the moment I stepped in the entire staff was kind and welcoming. The young lady greeted me immediately and I believe the manager nice guy introduced himself. I asked her recommendation for sides. I enjoyed her recommendations. I got two meats and two sides with cornbread about $22-23. The amount of food was big for me I made it into two meals. I got the brisket (moist) and jalapeño cheddar sausage. French fries and Mac and cheese. I enjoyed everything. The brisket melts in your mouth no sauce needed. The Alabama White creamy one is the best! I will definitely return. I want to try their ribs and collard greens ( the greens were out) I hear they are popular. I love the boardwalk style fries and the "old bay" reminds me of where I grew up in Maryland. I just need some malt vinegar or maybe that NC vinegar sauce? Mac and Cheese was ok I will definitely get a different side.

My wife and I usually come here for lunch. The place is clean, and décor is dedicated to honoring the military. You order the food at the counter and they call your name once your food is ready. The drinks here are self serve fountain and I like how they use a tool box for things like straws, salt, pepper and lids. At the table you find a six pack of various bbq sauces and a role of paper towels. If you never been to a mission bbq before I would suggest looking up the menu in advance otherwise you'll have the cheerful person at the register looking at you waiting patiently to take your order which kind of rushes you along. The staff here are very friendly and on occasion they even offer to fill your drink. The food comes out quickly and is at a good temperature. The brisket is very good, the chicken can be dry at times, the ribs fall off the bone and have a nice bark, and my favorite is the jalapeño sausage. The sides are good and my favorite are the beans and Mac & cheese. In my option a great lunch stop or quick, easy dinner.

Food is really good. It's a bit pricey but what isn't these days. Rather spend the money there than a McDonald

I gave it 4 stars out of 5 because they really need to add a few items. Like pulled chicken, Mac and cheese and Cole slaw. Also 4 potato wedges as a side is kinda ridiculous. This…read moreis a food truck that travels to different locations (breweries, bars, etc) and offers fantastic smoked meats and sides. My first experience with The Liberty Smokehouse was at Golden Isles Brewing in St. Pete. We tried the brisket and burnt ends with baked beans and mac and cheese. I instantly realized this was on another level, unlike any other barbecue I've tried in the state. All you can do after each bite is say how good the meat is. My second experience was at Outcast Brewing in St. Pete. This time we tried the beef rib with mac and cheese and potato salad. It's recommended to preorder the beef rib because it is limited. The beef rib meal is not cheap at $72, however, it is something that will blow your mind. It was more than my wife and I could finish, so it's plenty of food. The satisfaction of being served a giant smoked beef rib is hard to beat. After speaking with the owner Chef Bryan Jacobs for a short time during our first experience, I could tell that he was a humble man who accepted praise and criticism with grace. It is apparent that the goal of this business is to please its customers with a quality product. This barbecue is really something special and I highly recommend it. One change I would like to see from the business is to have a calendar posted on instagram, Facebook or both that lists their locations and times for the month. I understand it may be difficult as the locations change regularly but it will allow us to plan to be there.

Both the mustard style and regular bbq sauces are very well balanced, tangy, slightly sweet, with a tiny bit of spice. I never want to eat at any other bbq place. I can't wait for them to open the brick and mortar place, Waters and Fl, by the Wawa. I drove 30 mins to find this food truck and it was worth the gas money and being out in the summer heat. This place is a must try! I'm trying the ribs and wings next time. I ate the whole pound of brisket by itself for lunch and then dinner.

We timed it perfectly, as the restaurant became extremely crowded right after we got in line. The setup is cafeteria-style: you start by placing your drink order, grab a tray, and then choose your meal options as you move through the line. I went with the BBQ ribs, fries, and a s'mores cheesecake for dessert. I also picked up a refillable cup ($22) while there--since the meal deal only includes a drink every 90 minutes, I didn't want to risk going thirsty in between. The BBQ ribs were absolutely delicious! While they didn't fall off the bone, they were packed with flavor and incredibly satisfying. The fries were perfectly cut and seasoned, and I devoured them in no time. The s'mores cheesecake was tasty, but the portion was quite large, and I couldn't finish it. Unfortunately, I wasn't prepared to carry leftovers around the park so early in the day. Zambia Smokehouse has officially become my go-to spot whenever I visit Busch Gardens. The food, atmosphere, and overall experience make it a standout choice.
