We love MSDC! My 7 and 9 year old daughters have been dancing here for the past 8 years and have been part of the competitive team for the past 5. The growth we've seen in them has been incredible. Not only have their technique and performance skills improved, but their confidence and discipline have grown tremendously. The instructors are amazing... talented, encouraging, and very passionate about dance & their students success. My daughters have been dancing at MSDC for nearly 10 years. The family friendly environment is priceless. As competitive dancers, both of my girls have grown tremendously over these past years, not only competitively, but mentally, physically, socially, and ethically. The life of competitive dancers requires a lot of time, commitment, values, sacrifice and dedication. I don't like to review bad about people or service because I think people is human, no one is perfect. However, Miss Sue dance company is the worst experience we ever had in our life. It's not only horrible attitude they gave us, but also the pain they did to our daughter. We spent over 1,000/month for our daughter to join this place. They always charged more without telling the reasons. Then they treated us bad when we can show up with the team because of Thế right reason. They right away charged money for the whole year, kicked the poor little girl out of the studio and the next minute, with some miracle thing, other girls in the studio talked bad about our daughter, and of course they stop being friend with her. Our daughter was crying a lot, she got shocked because she lost all the friends she thought they are truthfully friend. What could they improve? The ethic is the first thing. Treat the little girl who has been spending 2 years straight there like that is horrible. Took our money without asking or explaining. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED read more

My daughter danced here for two years. From day one I wanted her to leave and go somewhere else but she had her friends there so there was little I could do until now. She missed her first competition the other day due to a mandatory school concert and it took the owner and her lapdog husband all of about 15 minutes to decide to kick my daughter off all teams. There weren't no notification of this so to add insult to injury, my little girl got the notice when she showed up to practise and was told that she was not welcome any more. This has a lot to do with the fact that we had made the decision to finally leave the studio due to an upcoming move of course so there were no more money to be extracted from us. If you consider sending your child to this studio keep this in mind. The monthly fee will only be the start. There will be extra fees for the mandatory extra practises that are frequent. If you think that there will be a discount for the closure of the studio for whatever reason you are mistaken. You will pay the full monthly fee even if the studio is closed for power outages, spring break and what not. If your child is not a very talented dancer, be prepared to try to locate her somewhere in the back. MSDC is all about winning and non about having fun. Favouritism is blatantly obvious. The same girls are front and centre regardless of what style of dance that are performed. Your child will of course be accepted since there is a lot of money to be made but as I said, be aware that there will be a lot of other girls between your child and the front if the stage. I only have experience of two studios so maybe this is not unusual but I thought I'd share my experience with MSDCDC. That's right, some genius just decided to rebrand Miss Sues Dance Company to MSDC Dance Co. Well, DC stood for dance company so now I guess it is Miss Sues Dance Company Dance Co. For those of you that read reviews, please reconsider if you are thinking about sending your child here. If you don't take this advice please be aware that the contract you'll sign will give the owner the right to take your child off the team for any reason and your fee is of course non refundable. read more

This is a great studio for little girls. My 5 year old started 2 years ago and absolutely loves her teachers. I love that the dances are age appropriate as well as the recital costumes. So far, having my daughter participate in dance here as been so rewarding for her. She doesn't just enjoy the dancing, she also looks forward to seeing her dance friends every week! read more

The teacher, Krystal, is SO patient with my crazy child and really tries to get to know the kids and show special attention to each child. The reason my review is 3 stars is because there were both positive and negative parts of our experience in this studio. My daughter is three and we tried out the fairytale princess class. This was her first experience in a classroom environment, and I was told it was a structured class, but I was surprised at how structured it was for her age group. She did follow along, but had a hard time staying on her specific spot at times. I could tell the teacher was frustrated with that. As a early-childhood teacher and parent I would recommend waiting until your child is 4-5 before enrolling in this class unless they are ready for a very structured class. On a positive note, the studio is beautiful and the instructors are very knowledgeable and experienced, so the older age groups seem to be getting great instruction. We won't be coming back when she's older only because the teacher and the owner did make me feel we were unwanted in the studio. They reiterated to me numerous times their policies on how they handle the kids if they couldn't stay exactly on task with the teacher, making me feel as though they were hinting we shouldn't return. I understand they don't want a child being disruptive, but I was a little taken aback at what they expected from a three-year old on her first dance experience. She wasn't being disruptive to the class she just didn't know what to expect. The teacher never explained to her that they were going to take turns doing a move across the room, and so she would want to go at the same time as the other girls. If you want your child to have a very structured experience then this would be a great place for your little one to learn, but it wasn't right for us. read more

I highly recommend Miss Sue's Dance studio in Temecula. Our grand daughter Savannah, has been going to Miss Sue's dance studio since she was three years old and now she is thirteen. In the early years it was so much fun going to their amazing dance performances, but I never realized how it would positively affect her as she grew into her teen years. The talented teachers are so sweet and encouraging to their students as they challenge them to learn new dances. In the last few years we have seen our granddaughter bloom into an amazingly talented young dancer that loves what she does, I believe that the self esteem that Miss Sue's dancers receive as they develop and learn is priceless. When we were young parents we were told some sage advice on raising children, and that was to find something that your child can excel in that will build their self esteem and keep them busy and that will keep them out of trouble. And Miss Sue's dance studio has done just that. Even though our granddaughter is very busy taking many dance classes that she loves, she is always on the honor roll and has always gotten excellent grades. Don't appreciate how they push and pressure you to join all their "extra" programs after you sign up for a class, that of course all cost "extra". If you don't join, your kid gets ostracized from all the other kids that pay for the extra programs/recitals. I am sure the programs are fun but if a parent choses not to enroll their child in a recital or whatever, their choice should be respected without the constant sales pitch and pressure. They put the parent and child in a awkard position, as the comments are consitently made in front of other parents, as if to pressure you even more. Not cool. read more

Love Miss Sue's Dance. My 3 year old lil princess is very much enjoying her class. We were welcomed immediately and have felt comfortable ever sense. I checked into many schools and couldnt fathom paying the high tuition for 3 year olds. Miss Sue's is very resonable, especially considering that most weeks they provide a costume for each child. MSDC is a top notch dance studio. My 3 kids have attended MSDC for the last 3 years. My 2 oldest boys are in Miss Alicia's 8-11 yr old hip hop class and she is amazing. She is attentive and gives each child within in the class specific personalized instruction. Miss Alicia is very caring when it comes to all of the children within the class. I live in West Murrieta, and there are many closer choices in the way of studios. We continue to attend MSDC because of the people that are part of the organization, from the owner to the teachers, to the front desk personnel, they run an organized, well kept, and clean studio. I would give this studio 10 stars if yelp had that high of a rating. read more

Would not come back here again. They have the policy of kicking kids out of their dance classes for not focusing and listening, mostly emphasizing the fairytale princess dance class. They will do it in the middle of a class in front of all the kids and parents, which can be embarrassing, and hurtful for the parent and more so confusing to the child. I would suggest a better approach to getting the child to focus on the class, so that a bad experience in dance doesn't occur, instead of one so blatantly. I understand the importance of focusing and listening so the class isn't interrupted. I am all for that. But there has got to be a better way, so that people don't get hurt and not want to come back. These are 3 and 5 year olds who are just excited to dress up and dance around with other kids. The name of the class sounds improvisational and fun, but it wasn't. At least for us. read more

BUYER BEWARE - I purchased a Groupon for Miss Sue's Dance Studio after looking into the available class times listed on their website. A friend and I had hoped to place our girls in a dance class together. We were told that we would be put on a wait list, until enough parties were interested in that particular class time. Two weeks passed without an update and with two unreturned phone calls (they do not answer the phone, there is only an option to leave a message on the machine). Time was clearly of utmost importance due to the Groupon expiration. Finally, in the midst of leaving yet another message, someone picked up my call. I explained to her that I had a preschool schedule to work around and that I wouldn't have purchased the Groupon had I known the day and time I wanted (listed as open and available on the website) wasn't actually open and available. The owner was defensive, and rude. She responded, "I'm sorry that your schedule doesn't work with our schedule". She did not offer a refund, she did not attempt to work with me in any way shape or form. I contacted Groupon and was issued a refund. At this point, I would not be interested in enrolling my daughter at this school and will be looking into other dance studios. read more

I highly recommend Miss Sue's Dance Company! My girls have been attending classes there for several years and our experience has been awesome! I really appreciate the family-friendly feel there and their commitment to age appropriate music, choreography, and costumes. We have been so blessed by the quality instruction and fun memories we have made there. The staff are very helpful and pleasant to work with. The instructors do a fantastic job and it shows in my daughters' love for their teachers and the excellent performances they have put on! Continually impressed with MSDC!! My two daughters have been dancing here for 4 years and they have improved tremendously and are always leaving class with a smile. Each of my girls have taken class from multiple teachers and have loved them all. The teachers are caring, patient, and fun but also challenge my girls to learn new skills and improve their technique. They have participated in multiple recitals and my husband and I have been so impressed with each one. We have been to other dance recitals and these ones are way better. The routines are fantastic and let me stress AGE APPROPRIATE! I have seen too many routines with suggestive moves and inappropriate costumes. This studio keeps young girls dressing and dancing like their age! The owner, Miss Sue is a sweetheart. She is professional and you can tell that she truly cares about the students. One of my daughters was having an issue with another student in the class. Miss Sue spoke to me, the other parent, the teacher, and sat in on the class to observe. She did everything she could do and the issue was resolved. Before coming to Miss Sue's Dance Company my girls and I tried two other studios. At these studios we felt like just another costumer. At MSDC we feel special. They make us feel at home, like we are family. I highly recommend trying this studio. I know you will love it like my family does! read more
