The teacher was young, likely in high school and just didn't have the ability to teach the kids effectively . She wasn't a bad person just bad a teaching younger kids and keeping their attention. I didn't like that she wore really baggy jeans that went from the waist to the floor. I'm not the fashion police but ballet is a visual learning experience and kids need to be shown the moves and see the legs. I felt the jeans weren't just unprofessional but really inhibited the ability for the kids to perform. I took two stars away because I thought the instructor wasn't ready to teach and the jeans being worn to multiple sessions was unacceptable. The owner or manager was there most sessions and I feel should have at least addressed those issues. I get it 4-7 year olds can be challenging, but the instructor didn't even come close, super nice girl, just missed the mark.

We saw the Nutcracker in November 2018 at the same theatre and our kids loved it so much they were ecstatic when I told them I'm buying the tix for tonight. Throughout the whole show tonight, I was asked why I did this to them and if we have to stay. Even the sound guy had to clap to get some of the audience to clap as well. I have never seen this theatre empty as quickly as it did after the show ended. Absolutely disappointing. Save your money. Go see Nutcracker elsewhere. Especially if you've never seen it before. You deserve to get the real Nutcracker experience.
