Decided to take a field trip to Kingsgrove with a friend since I'm a burger lover and I saw a photo…read moreof their burger somewhere and it looked good. The head chef here received an internship at Noma, so you know they must be doing something right. The food is a mix of Australian and Greek, you'll see influences in each dish. They have plenty of space here, so it's a good place for group outings, catching up with friends or even a semi-casual date. The coffee is on the expensive side at $4.50 a cup, but my flat white was velvety smooth to be fair, so I didn't mind the higher price. My friend and I ordered the grass fed double cheeseburger on brioche, the hand cut chips with feta, and the Kritharaki (orzo in napolitana sauce with tiger prawn) to share. The hand cut chips were awesome....definitely a must get plus a massive portion too. The Kritharaki was also very tasty, highly recommend this too. As for the burger, it was alright. It was a little bit burnt and salty so it definitely looks better than it tastes, 3.5/5 for the burger. If this place was located close to the CBD I would probably come pretty often since I live by the CBD, but since it's out in Kingsgrove I probably won't make the trek unless it was a special occasion. Great place for people close to Kingsgrove, not so much for others.

I've been waiting for good coffee to come to this area for a long time. Although not in Beverly…read moreHills, Kingsgrove is good enough. Walking into Kingsgrove pottery, it is the restaurant buzzing with life. Full of warmth and an inviting open plan layout, you are welcomed by friendly attentive staff. There are outdoor tables as well as a large indoor seating area capable of hosting events and parties. Coffee: Good, comes in normal or mug size. Food: A mix of Greek and Middle Eastern. We had the beef burger, falafel salad (best falafel!) and the beef sandwich. Delicious and flavours were well balanced. You leave this place so full! Definitely coming back ... and Super loving the locality!

I officially announce this as my favourite restaurant and go to Chinese Restaurant in Beverly…read moreHills. Hiding away from the bustling streets of Beverly Hills this crouching tiger serves some of the best unique dishes that you won't generally find in normal restaurants. What I hate about Chinese food is they don't have very attractive names and most of the times they're just a straight translation from Chinese .. So I'm going to do my best to make the dishes names sounds as awesome as it tastes. We ordered wombok served in a chef's special broth, salt smoked chicken with ground ginger dressing, deep fried spatchcock and deep fried white bait with crumbed seasoned duck yolk. Oh and plain steamed rice of course! Did that tickle your palate or salivate your mouth or what? Words is hard to give this place and their food justice but the wombok was cook just right where it's not too soft as it still has a crunch when you bite on it. The special broth is thick so with each bite you get a substantial amount of flavour without needing to actually drink the broth. Which of course I drank it as if it was normal soup, just couldn't resist! Now the chicken, it's free range which makes the meat relatively chewy, and not sure how they did it, but the skin was crunchy like jellyfish if anyone has tried that before. Full of flavour and that ginger dressing was just the best compliment to the smoke salt flavour. D-E-V-I-N-E. Normally you would have white bait/squid as salt and pepper as most of you foodies would know, but using seasoned duck yolk (the ones in mooncakes) adds a different perspective all together. The first few bites are quite tasteless, but then it grows on you. The trick is to eat the white bait with pieces of the crumbed yolk and there you have a party on your palate dance floor. A meal at a Chinese restaurant isn't finished until you have the fruits. Usually (95% of the time) fruits at restaurants are tasteless, but man this place does everything so well, the fruits were SO SWEET! Can't wait for round 2!

Have to admit that the last 2 reviewers for this place were spot on with their 5 star reviews ! The Restaurant itself is pretty small yet cosy enough to dine comfortably . All the food we had ordered from the entrée, to the mains and to the deep fried ice cream were outstandingly delicious! My mum is a pretty hard lady to please seeing as she was once a chef before we moved to Australia, she mentioned to the owner that it was the best Chinese food she's had a verly long time, she had the sweet and sour duck and she said it was melt in the mouth goodness !! At the end of our feast all of our plates were spotless.. thats got to mean more than that everyone was hungry lol!! Also another note to owner or possibly the manager of the Chinese Restaurant was very humble and a funny guy, joking around and being as helpful as can be . Found a favourite Chinese Restaurant mid week up north coast and now I've found my all time Favourite Chinese restaurant in the area i live in !! Was very impressed and will definately be back and recommending tohs place to friends and family !!!

A super nice restaurant. While the windy weather didn't help the outside seating atmosphere, we…read morewere met with warm hospitality and delicious food. We were given four different menus, one regular, one drinks, one with daily specials, and another with other specials. Okay, a bit all over the place but I came here to eat the food, not eat their menus. Pizza for me and pasta for my lady, along with two drinks. The service was quick and the waiting time for the food was minimal. The pasta, Spaghetti Gamberi, was very delicate in flavour; prawns, zucchini, and olive oil. The pizza, a White based "Kogarah" was hands down amazing. Cooked in a wood fire oven on perfect dough. Topped with bacon, mushrooms, parmesan cheese and a drizzle of cream. It was just last week I was thinking why don't we have white sauced pizzas when we have a whole heap of white sauced pastas. The bill was around $50 - $60. The only issue was the extraordinary loud drilling being done next door at a construction site. Literally everyone seated stopped talking and looked over at the building site for the 20 second duration of the drilling. Only happened once, thank heavens.

I had no idea that such a place existed in Kogarah, let alone Sydney . The food is exquisite and…read morethe service is exceptional. We were served by Veronica and Antonella , smiles and friendliness were offered from the moment we stepped in. Chatty and happy all along , really stands out in this city where service has gone out the door a long time ago. The pizzas are authentic and my fettuccini Ragu was unbelievable! A must return for sure. Thank you girls .xx
