A super nice restaurant. While the windy weather didn't help the outside seating atmosphere, we were met with warm hospitality and delicious food.
We were given four different menus, one regular, one drinks, one with daily specials, and another with other specials. Okay, a bit all over the place but I came here to eat the food, not eat their menus.
Pizza for me and pasta for my lady, along with two drinks. The service was quick and the waiting time for the food was minimal. The pasta, Spaghetti Gamberi, was very delicate in flavour; prawns, zucchini, and olive oil.
The pizza, a White based "Kogarah" was hands down amazing. Cooked in a wood fire oven on perfect dough. Topped with bacon, mushrooms, parmesan cheese and a drizzle of cream.
It was just last week I was thinking why don't we have white sauced pizzas when we have a whole heap of white sauced pastas.
The bill was around $50 - $60. The only issue was the extraordinary loud drilling being done next door at a construction site. Literally everyone seated stopped talking and looked over at the building site for the 20 second duration of the drilling. Only happened once, thank heavens. read more
