A two minute walk from the sea-front and Brighton Pier, Scoop & Crumb is a vintage-looking ice cream parlour tastefully decorated inside and out with pastel colours and cute wallpaper. They make all the ice-cream with locally sourced milk and serve their tongue-tickling Sundaes in retro glasses. If you can't manage a whole one - and let's be honest, any self-respecting Yelper should be able to by now!! - they also serve individual scoops of ice-cream. Flavour-wise, we're talking everything from the standard vanilla, strawberry and chocolate to plum crumble, christmas pudding and rhubard and custard. Yummy.

Instead, they give you a table and a menu where you pick what you'd like from sundaes to waffles to regular gelato. I was kind of bummed cause I would've loved to try a couple before ordering. The environment was fun though, lots of space and tables. Service: The service was good, friendly and attentive. Food: the gelato was delicious. Decent price for the size of the sundae which was huge, definitely large enough for 2 people to split. The strawberry gelato was amazing, the soft serve on the top wasn't my favorite, took away from the sundae a bit. If I were to eat here again I would definitely order a waffle, those looked AMAZING.

If you're into ice cream(/all kinds of sweet desserts that have lots of sugar in) and like the 'American Diner' style then you might want to check this place out! It's colourful, the staff are friendly and welcoming and the place has an unbelievable selection of Artisan homemade ice cream and sorbets to choose from! As you probably know by now (because I think I might have mentioned it a couple of times in other reviews) I am Vegan and I was incredibly excited when I saw there were ten vegan sorbet flavours to choose from (TEN!) plus dark chocolate too... This is one of those awesome Ice Cream Parlours that lets you try any and every flavour you want to before committing to one (or two, or a few)! After sampling a couple of the sorbet flavours, I opted for peach sorbet scoop along with an incredibly indulgent scoop of the dark chocolate, with strawberries on top. I expected it to come in a little bowl (seeing as I ordered a "2 scoop" bowl for £3.79 + 49p for fresh strawberries) and was pretty blown away when I was greeted by magnificent lookin' thing! My peach and dark choc sorbet dessert cost me less than £4.30 in total, which I think is fairly reasonable as a treat. Jojo's Gelato would make a super cute place to go for a date, to catch up with old friends (like I did) or take the kids as a special treat! My (non Vegan) friends got incredible looking waffles with ice cream, fruit and whipped cream! I struggled to finish mine and couldn't even consider looking at the waffle dishes for too long, let alone eating them! The only thing I didn't enjoy about this place is that it was quite nippy, we were sat in there for about 1.5 hours so I really felt the chill.

Place looked shabby anyway and i could see alot of half eaten cakes left on uncleared plates so I think we had a lucky escape in hindsight. Lick and Scoop and Crumb serve quality fro-yo and ice-cream but they lack the combination of flavours Marroco usually have each day. With this in mind, I found myself checking out Ben & Jerry's outlet on the sea-front. Located in the foyer of the Odeon, it's a small outlet where you can get ice-cream to go, eat in or take into the flicks with you. I'm a big fan of Ben & Jerry's Phish Food, Chocolate Fudge Brownie and Cherry Garcia but I've gotta admit I found the atmosphere and experience of their 'Scoop Shop' a little bland. In keeping with the company's hippy origins, I wanted to see rainbows painted on the wall and the Grateful Dead hammering out of the stereo. Instead I got blank walls and a spotty teenager asking 'One scoop or two?' The conclusion: Ben & Jerry's ice-cream tastes better served at home and I'm still searching for the perfect scoop.

Unfortunately on the first day I went, the girl told me a couple were vegan that I later found out weren't.. the cherry bakewell and chocolate orange. They were both delicious to be fair..! I also got the watermelon, which was really lovely and refreshing, if a little lemony. My friend got the grape (artificial grape kind of flavour which I love, and this was definitely awesome). The next day I got the raspberry elderflower, violet chocolate (amazing) and the peanut butter sea salt caramel (whuuuuuut............!) - all incredible. The place was very quiet and peaceful inside which is not what I had been expecting considering this cafe's location right beside a busy road. It felt like the perfect atmosphere to start the day- very calm and relaxed! There were several juice options available, as I'd hoped, and I went for "The Zinger" - orange, passion fruit and lime (£3.59). Compared to Guarana Bar there are far fewer veggie juice options- most on this menu were fruit based juices, with the occasional vegetable thrown in - so if you're looking for that kind of juice then this might not be the place for you. In terms of juice quality I must say, it was so good! It was fresh, flavourful and just tasted really really amazing! I'll be back to try their other juices for sure, and suggest you do to. The only downside was that there perhaps wasn't enough of it. It felt small and disappeared quickly, not quite matching up to the portion sizes elsewhere, which was a shame! Other than this, I think I've found myself a nice little juice place! Looking forward to trying their food as well- will update my review once I've done so!

This gelato shop is open late. Until midnight I stumbled in at around 10:30 and found it to be quite full. I got one of two clean tables after ordering. I looked at the menu and it was overwhelming. So many choices. I got the Sweet Treat and my goodness that thing should have a disclaimer that it's approximately a foot tall. Vanilla gelato swirls like whipped cream topped with two cookies and a cookie straw. Beneath the vanilla gelato is chocolate gelato, a banana, peanut butter, whipped cream, Oreos crumbles, and who knows what else is deeper than I could possibly ever venture. I was proud of myself for eating roughly a third. Not proud because it was bad, because it was quite quite good. But proud because I made that much of a dent due to the sheer size
