The display of chocolate out the front, mouth watering, chocolatey goodness! Went in with my friend, inside it is decorated very appropriately, with tables and chairs looking like milk chocolate colours and shades. This place looked like a chocolate factory made into a cafe! Perfect! The service, just as smooth as their chocolate. I walked in, the man instantly addressed me with "Good Evening sir, how are you today?" I replied in kind with a "I like the enthusiasm, trying to make me buy something huh" which we both laughed at. I did proceed to buy a few things, but damn this place was so cool, I will for sure be revisiting. If you look at the pictures I am about to post up, you will see why! Pudding stop has bench style seating, so you may have to get used to the fact that you may be sitting with strangers and possible their babies. I tend to come in the late afternoon so the ambience is rather chilled out to my liking. I've ordered the Devon Cream Tea,(£6) which they give you bottomless tea in a teapot with cup and tea strainer. The scone is soft and fluffy and so perfect, and with generous lashings of clotted cream and jam which adds to the divinity of this British classic. Carrot cake is moist and not too sweet...just right. Chocolate flourless cake was a moist sticky chocolate gooeyness which needed some single cream to compliment it, but still throughly enjoyed. The staff are attentive and friendly. Their is free wifi also they have classic movie evenings.

Salads: my wife and I split a "Chili Chicken salad" with avocado, sweet peppers, hamoulli cheese, shaved carrots and a light dressing. The chicken was tasty with a slight kick and the cheese was rich but not overpowering. My daughter got a salmon salad with avocado that was similarly tasty and healthy. Sandwich: We got an Italian panini with prosciutto, mozzarella, lettuce, pesto, avocado on a ciabatta roll. The roll was toasted (nice) but the cheese not really melted, which would have been nicer. Still, a very tasty and healthy sandwich. Finally, our 6-year old ordered pancakes with blueberries from the kids menu and was very happy dipping into maple syrup and coloring his menu. Our family tends to make lots of special orders ("avocado on the side, dressing on the side, pesto on the side,....") as we like to share and have different tastes. Our waitress got them all correct the first time and didn't make us feel badly at all. In addition to our great food and nice service, the menu had probably 2-3 items we each wanted but didn't order so we'll definitely go back. The other side, which is the seating area has a Kenyan look with beiges and brown as it's colour scheme. We ordered a cassava dish, which had a brown sweet kinda of taste with red and green peppers, this dish was tasty plus we ordered cassava chips which was also tasty and had the same sauce as the cassava dish. We ordered their desserts which they are known for, my friend said that the food snacks are new thing they have introduced. I ordered their Apple crumble ice cream on a crepe, unfornataly this dessert was not great because the crepe was more like a pancake and the quality of the apple crumble was poor. The prices are reasonable, my friend felt the food snack prices were too much for what they were offering...it was around £6. After we paid, Twist managed to redeem themselves because their Nutella ice cream which we were allowed to taste before we tried, was absolutely A-MA-ZING!!! I has to buy a scoop! The manager also said to me a lot of their customer like the their crepes in a pancake style so when I come here next time I should just tell them I would like it thin. Twist is In North Harrow, the area itself is nothing to write home about but for the sake of some delicious ice cream I can see myself attending Twist again.
