In all honesty folks - this is not my "cup of tea" at all :(. Mrs G wanted to go and se hi we did. Totally over the top decor, foo foo on steroids. We were seated, given menus and waited, and waited, and waited. So I targeted a member of wait staff behind the counter (was king tea pots as far as I could tell) and asked her to send someone our way. A few minutes later we are served. It is early afternoon, not busy, plenty of empty tables so there is no excuse for the long wait. We decided against the cream tea and went with more lunch-like items. Essentially sandwiches and a lot of tea each. Not bad, not memorable, over priced. 1 thumbs up (for Mrs G). Will I go again if I don't have to? No. Will I grin and bare it? Yes. This was the cutest place I could ever have a tea time with my husband to celebrate our anniversary day after the Windsor Castle Tour. From the beautiful setting outside to the beautiful decor inside it was the perfect place for us to have that special romantic time. My couscous salad was fresh and tasty, as well as my husband's sandwich. The french fries were delicious not to mention the pastries and desserts which are at the front of the shop to pick. This is a very girlie place but also romantic I think... the service was very nice except for one guy who I thought was a little rude.... There is a table with plates by the dessert area. I picked a plate thinking I could just grab my own dessert... he rudely said that the plates are not for clients to grab that I only get to pick my dessert and let my waitress know which one I want....maybe he wasn't rude at all and just sounded like it. Excellent food, great staff and service, but unfortunately the day we went, there might had been some issue with their plumbing or sewers... the stink was horrible. We sat in an area where it was less felt. and you might ask "why the hell did you stay?". Well, it looked very elegant and neat from outside, the menu was very enticing, it was the only appealing place nearby, and we read good reviews. So, once we got over the smell situation, which I'm sure it was just a bad day to go, since I overheard them talking about the plumber coming in and what not... (No, I didn't ask the manager anything about it); we proceeded to order our tea time meal! Maybe the best afternoon tea we had while in England. Delicious scones, very fresh jam and sandwiches. The best high tea/ tea party experience I have ever had. Minus the fact that this place is ridiculously cute, its also nice to come with kids or even large groups without having prior reservations. There desserts at the front of the shop to pick from and beautiful arrangements everywhere. From a beautiful flower wall to fine china all over the place, its the perfect stop for those candid instagram moments. We ordered the tea high tier but customized it to include for sweets and less sandwiches. We also ordered a few lunch items for the kids. Everything just tastes better when you're in the country known for tea parties. I think the added bonus was the fact that you don't have to be dressed up to enjoy the experience. We saw people dressed from ripped jeans to crop tops to people in maxi skirts. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the experience. It is definitely a place to check out. Madame Posh is definitely...posh! When you walk in, you see a faux fireplace, lots of white, flowers and some beautiful pastries. It's a very girlie place, and if I lived nearby I can definitely see myself meeting girlfriends here for a snack and tea. We bought a chocolate eclair, blueberry muffin, a hot cross bun, and a large mocha to go. Although they were not too busy, it took quiet a while to get my order together. Other than that, the service was good. The eclair and blueberry muffin were great, but I could have gone without the hot cross bun. I came here with an out of town guest to have the afternoon tea. There are two types, with or without champagne. It was a bit confusing for us as to whether we would be sharing one tower with our order and I am so glad we did! We chose from 4 open faced sandwiches and 4 dessert pastries in addition to getting two large scones. We added one glass of champagne cocktail and chocolate covered strawberries because, why not? This one order was more than enough for both of us as we could cut the sandwiches to try them all. Everything was prepared fresh and tasty. We enjoyed watching the pastry counter and all the other sweet treats as we ate. It would probably make sense to separate some of the store items from the dining room, as I felt it took away from the classiness of the restaurant. However the food was good, service was accomodating and location was perfect near Windsor Castle. read more

We each had the Eggs Royal, but I would have enjoyed the dish more if the English muffin was toasted more thoroughly. Only one side was toasted and it was cold all the way through for each of our given slices. For a bakery, we were a little bit disappointed. Fun, flowery decor. My husband ordered tea, which he had to eat himself because there were no dairy-free options. This is the first time my husband had afternoon tea, but Madame-Posh does not provide loose leaf tea with a tea strainer, instead, they put tea bags inside a big pot. The reservation system is confusing. Most restaurants in the UK require a reservation. We called ahead and no one picked up. We got a return phone call soon after we hung up, but when we arrived, it seemed like we can just walk in - we weren't asked for our names and didn't seem like we needed to honor our reservation. I would recommend this place for a make-do afternoon tea if you are able to consume dairy & if you aren't able to get a reservation elsewhere. read more

This is the perfect place for a "fancy" feast with the ladies or your daughter. There are some great healthier choices, salads and a vegetable crepe, that were delicious. Very disappointed with the service. Took my mother here on Tuesday 20th November, we waited patiently to be seated. There was a man behind counter who told us to wait for a waiter/waitress to arrive. THe shop was not busy. After about 5 minutes a lady came from downstairs and told us to wait!!!! It didn't help that my mother was with a walking frame and could not stand for much longer. Had a wonderful experience at Madame-Posh from beginning to end. We stopped in for a late lunch and headed downstairs. The staff was sweet and friendly. Our server was very attentive and kind. We went with the pate appetizer which was a generous portion and so delicious! With the amount of pate given, we ran out of toast fairly quickly, but it didn't stop us from finishing it off! It was smooth and creamy. We also had the smoked duck, which was nice, but would probably pass as an appetizer and get as a main next time. It is a pretty generous portion as well. For our main course we had the sea bass which was cooked perfectly and crispy. I had the Earl grey blue flower tea which was quite nice. I would definitely recommend if you are an earl grey fan. Would definitely recommend as a place to go to while in Windsor. You won't regret it! I only wish we had some room for the yummy desserts and ice cream offered upstairs! read more

We asked Madame Posh for 4 cakes each displaying a new logo for a launch party. The cakes were meant to be a focal point unveiling this logo to employees from UK and international offices. Upon collection our staff were faced with a crying chef who admitted the cakes were not what we ordered as their printer had broken and smudged the logos. She verbally agreed to a full refund as it was too late for us to make other arrangements. After this we had difficulty contacting the store. When finally getting in touch with Angela Urso (Manager) we suggested that instead of a refund we be given the sum we were owed in vouchers to give out to our staff to increase repeat business. We received several overly aggressive emails eventually only offering us only a 35% refund and 5 vouchers for afternoon tea - nowhere near our original payment. After this point no refund has been given at all and attempts in communication have been ignored despite including the main investors. Avoid at all costs! read more
