Although this is just a tiny buttery, it gets very popular most lunchtimes, be it the weekday or the weekend. They serve teas, coffees, home baked cakes, and hot sandwiches filled with egg, bacon, sausage, any combination of the above three, or simply all of them at one go. Perfect for when you want something deliciously savoury, by the river, in the sunshine from a quaint ol' cafe. Be prepared to queue though, as as small as this place is, it is rather famous!

I had a standard bacon and cheese burger him having the crispy stack with fries to share. The prices are a little in the high side but you really do pay for quality, the bun's for the burgers are kind of brioche like, sweeter than the standard uk bun it really made the whole thing lighter! They offer some cool random meats like lobster, bison, ostrich and wild boar! I don't usually like burgers they can be to heavy and stodgy but i ate all of mine. For a different kinda treat it was really nice, i'd happily go again :)

Inside there's Japaenese style benches and stools which seems a little out of place here and the last place you want to be social with strangers is when you're about to chow down on a whopping big burger. Cheap, cheerful and with a good selection of vegetarian dishes I can't fault Yoyo burger. It's not fine dining, but it is what it is, and what it is, is tasty, hearty and authentic.

It's a heaven of taste. And yes, it's value for money! It's one of the best Lebanese kebab places,…read morein my personal opinion, in the entire UK. They make authentic Lebanese food at their premises and you pay a fraction of what you might end up paying in a sit in Lebanese one. Don't go by it's decor, remember, all that shines is not gold! You will fail to find a hint of grease in the meat and it's absolute tender. It has a little outdoor seating with tables each provided with two chairs. But, it's a takeaway joint, so, I never mind. They do sheesha as well. And, the price is the cheapest in the entire Bristol! The wraps are stupendous and so is the Pizza. The lamb chawarma, chicken seesh linger in my mouth for days even, after I have feasted on them! You can eat here with friends, family or just, on your own as you turn the pages of What's happening in Bristol in the magazines provided on the racks inside. The vegan options are also pretty elaborate. This place has earned a legend status with the staff saying you ,"Enjoy!" As they hand you over the food. Definitely recommended.

The place itself is tiny so we were glad to find an outdoor table while we waited for our order. The boys were happy with their double beef burgers. I had the veggie-based "Legs Akimbo" (miso roasted mushrooms, miso aioli, shoestring fries, chipotle ketchup, cucumber and chili pickles, lettuce, with cheese on a brioche bun). Wow! It was messy to eat -- this is a knife and fork burger --- but really unique and delicious! We also shared some of their amazing fries and my son loved their lemonade. We felt this place was reasonably priced for the area and for what you get. We would definitely go back!

Small portion of chips, pot of curry sauce, an episode the Wire on the telly and bob's your uncle! Seriousley though this is a pretty good place to pop for your fish and chip fix, it's got a good reputation that is gaining momentum. It sounds like such a simple thing to make some chips, but to keep up a good standard that everyone expects and keep giving a chip that will taste the same whatever time of day, in whatever month and year is pretty good. I shall swing by a year from now (probably next week to be honest!) and see if the chips still taste as good as I remembered.

It's very intimate, seating around 50 and beautifully decorated with good, friendly service. I've got many fave dishes here, though a good idea is to get a set menu to share and then you can try as much as possible. These also come in at about £6 to £8 each so are easily affordable. If, however, you refuse to share, I'd plump for the spicy seafood special or the big value special chow mein.

The Baguette Express is a welcome addition to East Street's otherwise limited snack shops, and certainly beats Subway in terms of quality.
