I'm so pleased with my pest service. Every time they come to spray my lawn or my interior, they are so kind and respectful. In addition if I ever have any problems, a quick call to the office is always answered by a very kind lady Marcy who is a true gem. For example, I called to mention that I saw some small pests indoors, and they were there within the week for an extra spray. Also, I am incredibly displeased with another service I bought prior to knowing royal pest, I'm sure everyone is familiar with Terminix. I already paid the initiation fee for termite control with Terminix, which was around $6000 for doing bait traps, but that is kind of where their service ended. Despite multiple calls to them, I haven't had any luck with having them come out a second time. I was thinking about switching to Royal pest for my termite control however, I already paid the initiation fee with Terminix and it doesn't really make sense to switch back over since I'm only paying a small continuation fee. As I was standing in front of the toilet doing my business, a rat swam up out of the drain. I had heard of this kind of thing happening, but I thought it was an urban legend. Nope. It can really happen. After chasing him down the drain with the toilet bowl brush, and shoving the brush into the drain to keep him away, I went online to see what could be done. Naturally, I turned to Yelp for an exterminator. I learned a few things; first, the rat did not come from the sewer, it came from the roof and down the sewer vent. That is now covered. Second, the rats were attracted to my bird feeder, which is now gone (sadly). Edgar came out and reviewed the entire house with me, showing me where they were getting in and laying out a plan of action that would eradicate them. I am beyond happy with the work he did. It's only been a little over a week and I can already see a huge difference. I did find out that they had made it into the attic, but they are being exterminated as I type this. Edgar is amazing. He knows what he's doing, he is incredibly thorough and he does everything he can to ensure that he doesn't make a mess in the house. I was very impressed with him, and not surprised given that he has 62 reviews and 5 stars. When I checked his website I found that I was technically out of his range, but he agreed to come anyway. This man is the real deal. His work is excellent, his prices are fair, he knows what he's doing and he will help you if you have a rat problem. I cannot stress enough how awesome he is. The appointment was confirmed and I received text updates 48 hours prior to my appointment. The morning of the appointment I received a message with an eta for Gustavo. He arrived, and was kind enough to slip on shoe coverings before entering the home. The process was quick, and he explained to me where he sprayed and what treatments he did. This had been one of the easiest companies for home service that I have dealt with. From customer support, to the actual appointment and service tech. But he's a hustler…read morewho is just looking to keep coming back and keep charging you without any guarantee whatsover that he can and will eliminate a small roach problem. I'm a realtor with 22 years working in Dade and Broward and have seen all types of bug and pest problems. I worked with dozens of pest control companies. When they tell you they can't address a small roach problem without coming multiple times, that's a lie. I have had pest control companies that have come to homes and have eradicated the problem in one shot. And not with just spraying but actually setting bait traps etc. and attacking the problem at it's source. But most just come, spray in the corners, collect their money and then use the unresolved problem to coerce you saying INFESTATION as often as possible to get you into paying them over and over again. Just like Jose did with me at my home after I called him because we say a roach here and there. The key for them is to either get you to sign up for a monthly visit or at least a few follow ups so they can make more than their upfront fee which they use to lure you in. I had a few roaches in my kitchen, we took everything out of the kitchen and cleaned it thoroughly and after he came. But the problem just continued as if he hadn't even been there and with barely a few dead roaches over the week that followed. And then he used his kind polite voice to tell me that he couldn't eliminate the INFESTATION unless he came 2 more times. Now if I don't see any improvement whatsoever the first time around, why would I agree to pay you again? And if there was an INFESTATION why wouldn't there be a boat load of roaches everywhere dead? He had no answer but kept saying INFESTATION and then proceeded to try to convince me that 2 more treatments at $75 a pop was going to make it all go away. So I tested him and said how much money will it take to end this? He then said monthly treatments was the solution but that with 2 more treatments paid upfront the problem would be gone. I hate being hustled by contractors of any kind but especially those that use their skill to affect my family's health. But this is how they structure their business because doing a good job the first time around isn't profitable enough. You have to keep milking the client and make sure they keep you coming back. True Pest Control is exactly what the name says... the control your pest issue completely in order to keep you shelling out money. Jose Aparicio is a liar and a thief and I am letting everyone here know that this unlicensed, unprofessional and unsuccesful individual is exactly the reason why they invented the saying BUYER BEWARE.
