Something felt right about this practice, so I took a gamble, and I am really glad the reviews led me to Doctor Eddie, whose office is wonderful. I really appreciate a nice family practice vibe that does not feel like a clinic, and that is exactly what I found. I am genuinely excited to have a dentist nearby, and since I was the guinea pig and it went so well, I am excited to send my friends and family there. Being picky as someone who has been in the dental field for 15 years, I have high standards when it comes to dentistry, and Doctor Eddie exceeded them! The parking and finding the office was a dream, big parking lots feel LUXE after coming from the west side IYKYK. The office is really clean, the girls are so nice, and Doctor Eddie is kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. I found out I needed to replace 2 of my old crowns that have been there for years. Dr. Eddie explained all the steps that I needed to take to get there. I was going to my other Dentist for 15 years however my Dentist is no longer practicing I decided to come to Dr. Mishra based on another recommendation. I'm so happy I was able to find an honest, hard working Dentist that I could trust and feel comfortable with. His staff is very kind and very knowledgeable. I really enjoyed working with Theresa and Leo they are so pleasant on the phone, they answered all my questions and went over everything with me. I have gone to other Dentists before and they try to nickel and dime you and tell you that you need to do this and you need to do that which is absolute bs. Thankfully I didn't deal with that here. Dr. Mishra took his time to evaluate my teeth and gum health. He made me feel at ease and I appreciate his approach. We took x rays and everything was smooth. His Dental hygienist was friendly and didn't try to tell me any nonsense which I appreciated it. So far so good I've been here a few times for cleanings and it's been a great experience. The reception area offers coffee, water and snacks with a comfortable seating and TV. On my first visit I got my x-rays done and a regular teeth cleaning. I came back for a deep cleaning and the service was amazing. I was so nervous because it was my first getting a deep cleaning but the Dr. made me feel comfortable the entire process. Wanting a second opinion, I visited another dentist who thoroughly examined me and confirmed that my gums were healthy and that a deep cleaning was not necessary. This experience left me feeling like unnecessary services were being pushed simply to increase the bill. It reminded me of a car dealership trying to upsell customers on services they don't actually need. It's unfortunate because this office used to provide excellent service, but that no longer seems to be the case. It appears that many patients are immediately encouraged to get deep cleanings regardless of whether they truly need them. I would advise others to seek a second opinion before agreeing to costly procedures here. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
