The customer service is also exceptional I sent an email about a class re-schedule and to call for a few questions I had and they answered and called within 10 mins of my email. If it weren't for Kelly, I know I wouldn't be as active and mobile as I am today.

Ritual is located in a strip mall close to Trader Joe in Thousand Oaks. The studio offers a wide range of classes and a tasteful array of retail. The studio is bright and clean, and offers a relaxing calming studio. Outside of the studio there are plenty of places to store your belongings. My experience at the studio was great- despite the fact that I barely got to practice. I appreciated the yoga instructor and his patience during this experience- it was fun to have puppies in the class. The instructions throughout this experience was relaxing and informative. I look forward to trying a more typical class despite loving the distractions from puppies. Parking is ample at this strip mall. The shopping is busy so be careful in the lot and be prepared to walk a little bit.

Here I am rolling into class like, "Heh, only 6 credits ," thinking I'm a financial genius, while behind the scenes the studio and the blonde assassin owner are basically getting paid in exposure, incense and dryer lint. I wasn't hacking the system--I was the system. Those credits were straight-up Chuck E. Cheese tokens: "Congrats, you survived heated sculpt, here's 10 tickets and a rubber spider. Also, the studio made 37 cents." Now that I know what's actually going on, I'm fully on Team Blonde Assassin. If anyone's going to roast my form, vaporize my quads, and trigger an emotional breakthrough in savasana, they deserves real money, not a handful of digital coupons. So yeah, RIP to my "free" workouts. I'll be over here swiping my card, supporting the studio, and pretending I totally knew how ClassPass worked this whole time. ‍

As a true beginner, I was assured there were plenty of beginner classes available at their multiple locations, so I went all out and signed up for 3 months unlimited. They made sure I understood that I needed to cancel before the 3 months were up or it would auto renew month to month. So far so good. Turns out there weren't enough beginner classes, and the ones they had didn't work for my schedule, so I had to cancel. Not great, but still not terrible. After 4 months, I cancelled my membership. Even though their contract tells you to cancel on their app, there isn't actually a way to do that, (Gee I wonder why that is?), so I did the second available option and called their Moorpark venue. The girl on the phone was very helpful and assured me that no further action was necessary (I asked her specifically if I needed to do anything else & she told me no). That should be the end of the story, but it wasn't. Sure enough, they charged me another $339.00 the next month!! Unbeknownst to me, they covertly send their customers an email saying you had to fill out a form before your membership is actually cancelled. This form requires a membership number that is NEVER provided to you. When you contest the charge, they claim the contract calls for this form (it doesn't), and that they had proof I was informed that the secondary form had to be filled out before the cancellation would be complete (they don't and they are lying). Rita refused to refund my money, even though her own employees all agreed that this "business" practice was unethical and wrong. Left with no other choice, I disputed the charge through my bank. Now they've added $45 in charges! Lovely Rita offered to credit me $20 off the additional $45 if I come in and pay today. For those of you playing at home, she now wants me to pay $384.00 for a membership I cancelled! With so many exercise options available, DON'T GO TO CLUB PILATES. SERIOUSLY.

I started my yoga era in April 2024. I've always been afraid of yoga because I don't have the…read moreperfect body and I'm not that flexible. This yoga studio had been so transformative for me. I started at the Newbury Park location and struggled through my first few classes BUT the inclusive energy and encouragement was evident and I felt so good afterward. I started with Yin Yoga which was a combo of meditation, sound bath, and holding gentle poses. I have taken basic yoga, hot Pilates, and hot yoga flow and every time I see small progress and improvement. I've branched out to the Westlake Village studio for the infrared sauna, ice bath and leg compression. I am stickler for clean and both places are extremely clean. They clean the floors after each session and I never experience strong odors. The Westlake Village studio has plenty of parking and a welcoming entrance. The studio has an open setting and a calm serene aesthetic. I really feel this place is becoming a regular self care destination. Please consider this studio if you are new to yoga and want a positive introduction to the practice. I'm still practicing the ice bath but after the infrared sauna it is so energizing and my skin is ridiculously soft. It's a great mood booster. Enjoy!
