Was in the area for business and decided to check out what Utah has to offer in their sex shops. After walking in I was welcomed with a warm welcomed and was asked if I needed any assistance! Being a sexologist, clients tell me that sex stores can be overwhelming and they don't get help, so this was a plus! (Great customer service) I wish I got his name (a male). Also, they have a great selection of lingerie, men's underwear and a great selection for bachelor and bachelorette parties! Would recommend getting supplies for your next adult party here! Their toy selection was big as well. Being a sexologist I like to ask workers what the different toys do and they definitely know their products! (Again great customer service and very helpful for people that have questions about toys) They have a great selection of mask and bondage gear, dildos and other fun things. They carry my favorite brand that I personally recommend which is Fun factory! Sex toys are an investment, these brands come with warranty and will last your a life time if taken care of properly. Had a good experience here doing some last minute Christmas shopping. Everyone was pretty friendly and approachable, which is a must for a sex shop in my opinion. Definitely a lot of high price tags, and minimal amount of lower priced toys. Specifically women's. The selection in general was also fairly limited, but that's pretty normal in my experience. Overall pretty good though. Parking here sucks. I was able get a spot but it's all street parking so you may have to walk a bit. read more

Mischevious is awesome! Despite the fact that the outside is seedy as all hell, it's a nice shop. The lingerie section could be more expansive, but that's not what I went in there for in the first place. Went in with my boyfriend looking for a present for my birthday. We browsed the front section for corsets and whatnot, but soon headed for the back of the shop where the good stuff is. Lots of generic sex toys but also a sweet array of alternative toys as well. The guy who followed us back was super friendly, he even opened up one of the cases for me and let me try out the violet wand. Though the ball gags and floggers were calling my name, I left that day with a very reasonably priced violet wand kit. I'd recommend this to anyone, and will be returning myself. read more

I love Mischievous! Yes, the parking is street parking but to be honest, as a local, that's how it's always been. The customer service in my experience has always been amazing! Everyone is super friendly and very knowledgeable when it came to what I was specifically looking for. I have been going here for nearly 10 years now and I honestly couldn't tell you a better adult store that's downtown. Staff was great when I went in and made my purchase. However the toy I spent good money on broke immediately after trying it out . Of course when you sell crap you put in bold letters on the receipt that there are no refunds . Reading the manufacturer's policy for refunds was more hassle than its worth . Wonderful LOCALLY owned and operated adult store. They sell all the best brands of male underwear here. Unico, Clever, Andrew Christian, the list goes on. I got my husband addicted to high quality underwear all the way back in 2007 when we were still just talking online! In an already delicate economy it is not very smart to treat customers with such disrespect. I will never, nor will the many friends I have referred to this store ever step foot in there again. I have spent thousands of dollars in Mischievous and will simply go elsewhere and/or order online (where the prices are much better anyway). I always try to support local first, but not when they treat customers like crap. I had walked in and heard someone say "you need to wear a mask", I reached into my pocket and was putting it on when the other 2 people also started aggressively telling me I needed to wear a mask. I had not hesitated to get it and put it on after the first person said I needed to, no problem. I was not making an issue out of it at all, but when all three employees (seemed to be an employee, manager, and owner) took such a nasty attitude towards me, with my mask almost all the way on my face, I said "Are you all going to continue yelling at me, I have it on." I simply chose to leave and take my business elsewhere. Again, I did NOT hesitate to put it on when I heard the first person tell me I needed to do so. That is not an issue for me. Without any apology or saying they didn't see that I had it on, they simply decided to continue being extremely rude so I left. And even as I was leaving they were saying "Get out". Never again will I spend money with them, and I encourage anyone needing what they offer to go elsewhere. There are plenty of places that offer the same items and are much more appreciative of your business. It is unfortunate, but with all that is going on, I feel the need to state that this had nothing to do with race, sexuality, or politics. I went in yesterday looking for a toy as a present, got help from a lady at the counter which really was helpful. BUT , she helped me pick out a vibrator and instead of grabbing one of the many boxes that were right at the counter in the same color, she went into the back and grabbed one for some odd reason. I would find out later that evening it was because it was a defective one that even when fully charged just turns off! Solid toys, reasonable prices for a brick and mortar. Of course there's a markup versus online, but you're paying for convenience and the lack of a wait. Not sure what Tony was smoking, it's head and shoulders above any of the other local sex shops -and the only one I'm willing to make high dollar purchases at. On the inside the store is actually quite nice, but the outside could really use some work. It's not a very inviting place to walk into. When I was there the young man with glasses at the register was very nice and helpful, and knew about the products, but the guy at the front was horrible. He was watching weird videos on his phone the entire time I was in there, at an obnoxiously loud volume, and seemed to completely unaware that me or any other customers were even in the store. I appreciate that it's probably best to not have pushy sales people in a store like this, but this was way too extreme. I'm pretty sure I could have stolen something right out from under him.
