I was scheduled with Michaela for a Halo face framing type situation and was greeted very kindly by her and everyone else at the front desk. They offer you water and other beverages there as you arrive. There is also local crafted jewelry in the sitting area to browse. Getting back to hair, Michaela was very personable, funny, nice, and professional. The experience was nice and it feels like you're just chatting with an old friend. Honestly I probably chat too much but the story of my life LOL. They take you back to the hair washing area which is quiet and Serene, ready for relaxation. They also offer you and I mask type essential oil situation where you can pick different scents. After your hair is done washing you get processed and then you go back to your sitting area. It took a little bit to get my hair to the desired look but Michaela and the salon made it very easy to work with and get the results we were hoping for. I appreciate them for being so accommodating and ease of everything. Michaela is a great stylist and I would recommend booking with her anytime! Not only will she make your hair look better but just speaking with her makes your day better too.

The 2nd time I went, Carly decided to wash before the cut/style and, while I couldn't tell initially after styling, my hair was terribly uneven when I left. Like in a serious way - pictures attached. I will say that when I texted Carly a photo, she confirmed that was not her intention and offered to try to correct the error. I do appreciate this. I went back in and she was able to "even" it out as best she could given the condition. It wasn't ideal, but I get it. Mistakes happen. I was actually really happy to do this because it gave me a good idea of what to expect for my appointment and what the overall vibe of the salon was . Carly took a look at all of my pictures of the type of hair that i liked , and booked my appointment for a few weeks out . She gave me a cost estimate at the consultation which i am really grateful for because I've experienced "sticker shock " before at hair appointments , expecting to pay one thing and getting a much higher bill at the end of the service . I will say that the prices listed on the website are very much " starting prices " . My hair service ended up being a corrective color and did take several hours , however Carly explained to me that i will be able to go for several months in between my highlighting services so in my opinion, it was well worth the money and time !
