It was by far the busiest restaurant on the beach. It's elevated terrace allows you feet an amazing view overlooking the water and the town strip. We saw scuba divers getting ready to leave and kayaks (there's a vendor on the beach where you can do tours or rent gear). My sister is allergic to seafood and they had large chicken portions as an option for her which was great. The pisco sour was delicious as well. The area has good seafood soup so that's what I got and it was a good mix of all the local seafood. The salmon was amazing as well. The service is friendly and kind of funny. They have one large chalk board with the daily menu that changes and drag it over to your table for you to order. They don't speak English here.

Location: La Concepcion is perched on Cerro Concepcion, one of Valparaiso's signature hills. The outdoor dining area overlooks the Valparaiso's port and the Pacific Ocean. Food: Easily on par with some of the best restaurants in NYC. First off, the complimentary whole-grain bread they serve is delicious. Our first night, I had the squash soup to start which was outstanding, with a really nice depth of flavor. I followed that with the Crab ravioli which certainly lived up to the hype! Each ravioli encases an impressive amount of crab meat and the accompanying cream sauce makes for a truly divine main. My second night, I started with the ceviche and followed with the braised beef with pumpkin gnocchi, which were both very good, although out of everything I ordered, the crab ravioli reigned supreme. Drinks: I had a Manhattan each night, which was well-made. The bottle of Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon we ordered to accompany our meal had nice depth of flavor and went well with beef.
