Really average. This spot was in the Lonely Planet guide for Buenos Aires and recommend by others so we had high hopes for it. Like most of the restaurants on Fitz Roy, it's trendy, crowded, and open late. The food was okay. The gnocchis were definitely above average in comparison to other places that we went to but the waffle was meh. The asado was also average. Las Cabras is the better choice if asado is what you're looking for. The staff is... odd. My friend and I split the gnocchi and a dessert waffle and various members of the staff came up to us and commented on who we are and what we ordered. We were debating if this had anything to do with the fact that we were Americans but on the other hand, it's not like we were behaving strangely. It was overall a strange yet average experience. Unlike other places in BA where we would want to sit with some wine and enjoy our meal, we just wanted to be in and out as soon as possible. Three stars. Decent food, weird service, easy local spot in Palermo.

Checked in for solo dinner. Order the bife de chorizo with a glass of wine and papa al plomo. Great ambience, great wine. Pretty good steak. A bit too fatty for me but hit the spot. Not cheap but great service :)

Great for lunch. 134 pesos for steak, drink, and coffee. Would definitely come again! Has English menu.

Great place for lunch. English menu doesn't have lunch deals translated though. Actually has spicy sauce for meat/fries!

Working our way through many parrillas (Don Julio, La Cabrera, Calden de Soho, La Carneceria etc) and this stacked up to the rest.

Did Don Julio's live up to the hype?…read more Can any restaurant ranked #10 in the world by World's Best Restaurants -- and crowned #1 steakhouse three consecutive years -- truly live up to its reputation? I'd say yes, and then some. A word of advice: sit inside. That's where the magic happens. The open-flame grills roaring indoors create an incredible ambiance -- intimate, lively, and unlike anything else. The outdoor seating is charming in its own right (cozy blankets draped over every chair), but the interior is the real experience. Service was exceptional. Before we even ordered, our waiter personally walked us through the kitchen to introduce us to the various cuts on display -- a thoughtful touch that made the whole meal feel like an event. We settled on the ribeye and one other cut, with the ribeye stealing the show: thick, juicy, and cooked to perfection over open flame. To top it all off, the meal came with complimentary champagne, chorizo, empanadas, and dessert -- generous extras that made an already outstanding dinner feel truly special.

This was one of the things I was most looking forward to on this trip, and I made a reservation through our hotel months in advance. Fantastic meal overall. The steaks were great. Service was on point right from the beginning when they gave us wine and yummy corn empanadas when we arrived. The chocolate-covered dulce de leche at the end was delectable.

Chori happened to be close to our hotel so headed over for an early dinner on Thursday around 6:30…read more The place was empty but right before ordering noticed "reserved" signs were being placed on the tables. Turned out a couple of Food tours were arriving soon. Lucky we were ordering takeaway. Smaller spot with just about an equal amount of in/outdoor seating. We ordered a couple of the Guest Chori's-The Juan Pedro Caballero (pork) and the Carneceria (beef). Juan Pedro had tortilla chips and peppers and the pork chorizo sausage was saltier than the beef. We ordered a Chimichurri sauce on the side and enjoyed it. We liked the Pork more than the Beef-just was more flavorful. The Bread was thick, soft and held up to the Choripan and condiments well. Potato salad with al dente potatoes was tasty. They also have beer and cocktails so ordered a Gin and Tonic while we waited for our order. Friendly people behind the counter. Food was ready in about 15 minutes. That said, I can see they could get busy and have longer wait times. Make this stop for local grilled sausage deliciousness.

They served mostly chori and one morci (blood) sausage sandwiches but with a twist with their toppings. You could get just the sandwich or combine with side and drink. I picked the Invitado Juan Pedro Caballero and the cashier hesitated before entering the order as she wanted me to know it was picante. I assured her it was not a problem and then paid with my credit card. After a short wait, they called my name and I picked up my choripan. it was quite the handful filled with layers of roasted peppers, tortilla chips, onions and lettuce. The tortilla chips were stale but overall I liked the flavors especially with the heat from the peppers and chipotle mayo. It was a nice twist on the popular choripan.
