Unique Design owner, Carlos Gonzales, recommended a flooring he said had a 25 year warranty and was water resistant. I never received this warranty in writing. He finished the job on 8/23/2018. On 10/22/2018, I discovered bubbled, chipped and cracked flooring had been installed in my home. I contacted Carlos immediately and sent him pictures of the defect. He said he would come out to look at it. He did not inspected the floors until 12/17/2018. At that time he stated the newly installed flooring was defective and agreed to replace them. I continued to find more defective boards and notify Carlos. I received a text from Carlos on 1/22/2019 stating he would be "bring a crew" to replace the flooring in the kitchen and dining area on 1/28/2019. I reminded him about the other areas and he asked me to send him pictures. I sent him approximately 15 pictures of the defective boards that had be installed in every room of my home. He did not replace the flooring on 1/28/2019, instead he inspected the flooring again. He said he would get back to me with a start date. He said the distributor of the flooring had given him 5 boxes of flooring, but he would need more. On 2/7/2019 he came to my home with his installers to plan the replacement and promised to call me with an install date. I didn't hear from him again until 2/19/2019 when he texted me that he was now trying to get the "flooring company to cover under warranty." On 3/6/2019 he texted me that he was finishing a project and "waiting on the last batch of flooring. It hasn't been easy to get them. I will call you soon." I contacted Carlos on 4/6/2019 to find out when he planned on starting the job, he said he would start the replacement on 4/25/2019. On 4/11/2019 I contacted Carlos regarding the replacement and he said he was waiting to hear from the flooring company. On 4/16/2019 he told me I needed to call the flooring company. I did and they told me they only dealt with contractors. I have bi-lateral hip dysplasia and have limited mobility. During this time I was dealing with serious health issues and I was scheduled to have surgery in May. I tried on several occasions to express the urgency of having the replacement expedited before my surgery. On 4/24/2019, 2 representatives from First Atlanta Flooring came out to inspect the floors. On 5/22/2019 and 5/23/2019 I texted Carlos regarding the replacement of the flooring. On 5/24/2019, I received an email from Carlos offering to charge me to replace the defective flooring. On 5/30/2019 I received an email from the flooring company stating that the manufacture in China would not take responsibility for any defects. They claimed that the flooring had received water damage from maintenance. Even though the product is sold as water resistant. Carlos had installed flooring with bubbles and other defects, and it had begun to degrade within 2 months. I am an empty nester with limited mobility, I move from my bedroom to my kitchen. At this time, the floors have not been replaced and I have not received a refund. The floors continues to peel and chip throughout my home.

When I wanted to do several renovations on my home, I interviewed with at least 4 different contractors and consultants. UNQ design was the only one that came prepared with a full presentation and ideas. They took the time to really listen to my concerns and was very honest about possible limitations and extra costs. Plus, they have impeccable taste and professionalism. Through all the stages of the process they communicated, sent pictures and videos and was always present during the construction. Most importantly they were able to stay on schedule. Lastly, UNQ didn't go one cent over the budget. The end result is a beautiful kitchen that I absolutely LOVE! My only regret is not hiring them to do ALL the construction on my home.

Once we signed the contract, our project was moved up a few weeks which was awesome. All the onsite workers were awesome, hardworking, and professional. Taylor our lead was always available for questions when we had them and even made a few adjustments when we asked and they were done without one bit of pushback from the team. We had to have the stump ground due to being more exposed than expected once the work started and they coordinated with a company that did it at a very reasonable rate and time that did not disrupt the workflow of the overall project. Our experience with Progreen has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite paying them in full, a…read morestaggering $21,680, for what was promised to be a professional and satisfactory wall installation, they left the wall INCOMPLETE, failed to meet the necessary building codes... and worse!! Progreen had not worked with a qualified engineer for the project, even though large walls exceeding 4ft in height require expert engineer guidance throughout the construction process. Our wall is 6 ft high and 71 feet long. Progreen texted that an engineer was not involved and proceeded to write that an engineer did not have to be involved-- demonstrating ignorance of code and raising huge liability issues Adding insult to injury, Progreen disregarded the approved design that was agreed upon by both myself and documented on the site plan and instead installed a completely different shape of wall without permission. This alteration not only violated our agreement but also raises serious concerns about their integrity and credibility as a company. When confronted with the issues raised by the inspectors, I reached out to Progreen in search of answers and resolution. Shockingly, their response was rude and dismissive and bordered on gaslighting. They dared to label our valid concerns as "crazy" before abruptly cutting off communication entirely. In light of these appalling circumstances, I strongly advise anyone considering hiring Progreen to hire someone else. Their lack of professionalism, inability to meet code requirements, and willingness to alter approved designs (without any communication, discussion, or approval) demonstrate that they are an unprofessional and unsafe company.

The grass looked great for a couple weeks but then I noticed some areas that were getting matted and starting to look bare or were constantly saturated. He came back by to give me an estimate for our front yard and take a look at what was going on in the backyard. That was the last of consistent communication. It took 3wks to get the estimate for the front yard. By that time the back had even more bare muddy patches. I have reached out numerous times via phone, text, and social media and have been completely ghosted by Julian. We spent thousands of dollars to try to create a nice play area for our son, and now we are going to have to spend thousands more to basically redo everything because these guys don't have the integrity to actually take care of their clients.
