Update 2023: OK, I'm back in Colorado and got myself a lil bit of an upper respiratory infection so I called Miramont and they found a way to squeeze me in. While I had initially asked for Dr Lisa Hammond, they said she was booked but Dr Candice had a cancellation and was available to see me. My visit began with Nurse Rachel, who is super nice & friendly. We talked about my issues+asthma complications, she took my vitals and began swabbing me for Covid & RSV-super quick and painless and soon Dr Candice was in and talking to me about this "chest cold" and we discussed better, move proven, methods to combat my asthma. She did so taking her time, not rushing me at all, and I was soon on my way with scripts that she called in to my pharmacy. So very nice! Everyone here is so nice to work with. Thank you Alisyn, Netta, Rachael & Candice for helping me out today. I will continue to tell my friends just how wonderful you guys are! 2020: I simply cannot believe some of these reviews as I have been to this office twice in the past year and both times I was seen by Dr Lisa Hammond for allergies and both times had a wonderful experience! Both she, James and the gal at the front desk were extremely pleasant to work with and accommodating. Did I mention they also booked my appointment same day?! I tried to do that at a UC Health office closer to home and got "I'm sorry the Dr isn't taking new patients now" whereas Dr Hammond took the time to discuss options for not just allergy meds but asthma meds as well since she understands the correlation between the two. This is a 2 Part Review #1 - Dr. Bender took care our Mother at the assisted living home where she resided during covid. She never had flu shots, so we didn't approve the vaccine (made the visiting RN very unhappy. oh well). When everyone caught the bug, Miramont's protocol was homeopathic based. Our Mom was up and around, helping in the kitchen, folding clothes, etc. while other residents were flat on their backs for 10-14 days. 3 of our family took the same protocol and had little- to-no symptoms. Very, very happy with Dr. Bender. He gets a 5 STAR. #2 - My sister and I've left 3 messages at the Ft. Collins office for aesthetics. Not one return call. GIving up on the Ft. Collins office, we phoned the Parker office December 2024. My call to the woman who answered responded as if it my call was nothing short of an annoyance with her tone of voice and succinct replies. She transferred me to Aesthetics; the call disconnected. A second call and another long que. Press 2 option and you get "User mailbox is not available at this time". For an Rx, they'll handle your request in 2-3 days. Tried the other options, but mailbox not working or set up. Why give the caller options??? While Dr. Bender is great, his some of his team members are missing the boat. The voicemail and not having calls returned isn't what an owner of any business wants to risk, especially a medical practice. I am assigning Miramont Wellness Center in Parker, CO one star as there is not an option for zero stars. My boyfriend was diagnosed and treated for sciatica for almost 2 months when he actually had an aortic dissection. The correct imaging was never ordered and he passed away after taking himself to the ER with unbearable pain (could not walk and his leg/kidney were receiving no blood flow for weeks). The cardio thoracic and vascular surgeons both said he had been suffering with this very serious condition for months. When I called Miramont to let then know of his passing, I was told they were sorry he never received the correct imaging and that his physician was no longer with the practice. I have confirmed this termination. Since his passing, his family has been trying to obtain his medical records (requested via a legal document) and have still not received the records after 2 months. His son was told the person in charge of records only works part-time and is located out of state so may be delayed. Also, his son receives rude responses and treatment when he attempts to follow-up on the status of the records as if HE is doing something wrong. Send the records! Beware. read more

My initial experience signing up was good. However, the inabilIty to directly speak to the Parker office, or to easily speak to ANYONE, is ridiculous. I repeatedly called for a syringe refill and they never did get it right. I set an appointment, wrote it down while on the phone, and then they put it in their system wrong. Lastly, I needed to cancel my monthly plan and it took me almost two weeks because only two people in the whole organization can cancel someone's monthly care subscription. You cannot do it yourself online, which is such a scam to ensure they keep billing you a little longer. read more

I wish I could give negative stars. They billed us incorrectly for two 2-minute phone appointments. We had double the insurance at the time and neither company would pay their RIDICULOUS fee. For a 2 minute call (to check in on meds), they charged $354 and would not fix the billing error even though our phone records supported a 2 minute phone call, not a 30-39m call as billed. They were completely unhelpful and lame. I feel screwed. read more

Dr. Patton is seriously the most wonderful doctor at this location and I'm sad to know she is retired. She is a wonderful person and I trust her because she made me feel safe all the time for my appointments. She was the only light in this lobby, and I felt safe in her care. I am not very pleased with this location but I will root for Dr. Patton. this location is simply nothing without a good attitude like hers. Guys, be careful who you go to when it comes to your healthcare. Some doctors are literally angels from heaven and she is one! Others, not so much. read more

I have been attending this location for years. My Doctor recommended that I complete a sleep study in September. In October I was called and asked if I have the results from the study. I told them no and I have not received any info how to complete one. They mentioned they forgot to set it up. A month after the study I had to ask for the results. A report was emailed to me and a few days later I had to ask for a doctor to explain the results. I received a email saying I have severe sleep apnea and machine would be set up. It is now 12/14 and I still don't have anything. Not being able to get a good nights sleep is affecting my energy, mood, job and my relationship. This has been going on for 3 months and I feel like this location no longer cares about my well being. read more

Dr. Dickman and Lisa Hammond are the only reasons this business gets two stars. They have proven to be exceptional providers surrounded by the walls of mediocrity. Every interaction with other providers and admin staff is disappointing. They're typically misinformed, unprepared, and uncaring. Definitely check billing statements and get documentation because it is not uncommon to get a large random bill six months later after a visit for some procedure that you were told was part of the overall exam. They also push beauty products and /elective/ medicine related treatments that don't offer much value to the customers they're targeting. Overall, this business seems to sustain itself on marketing, pushing their staff to the brink, and cutting corners. However, within that system are good providers. Went for an annual physical and a month later received a bill. Tried for three days to call and get an explanation and finally sent an email. Beware, they add charges to bill without telling you and when I questioned the bill I was told they will just send bill to "hard collections". read more

I have been to Miramont a total of two times in the past couple months. When I googled the number to set up an appointment I about fell out of my chair when a Yelp one star review showed up in the search results. I am giving them a 5 star star review based upon the phenomenal care and service shown to me during my two appointments spanning two months. When I called to schedule and showed up for both appointments I was given nothing short of friendly and professionally service. I waited 3-5 minutes up front and another 3-5 minutes in the exam room before I was seen which was a refreshing surprise. I feel very fortunate to have met Rebecca a PA who delivers excellent care. Rebecca takes her time, listens, is very thorough, and then asks again if there is anything else she can help with. It's rare in today's world of increased pressure on Primary Care givers to get this level of care and never feel rushed. I believe they've made some recent changes and based upon my experiences I highly recommend Miramont. If things go sideways (they won't because I make sure to see Rebecca) I'll update my review. read more

This doctor's office has very unethical billing practices, and then lies to the patients when confronted about it. They added multiple charges and copayment to my annual physical which should have been 100% covered by insurance. They knowingly added extra blood work (without informing me first) and then also charged me an "outpatient appointment" fee when the doctor wrote a prescription during the physical. I will immediately be changing primary care physicians. read more

I'm surprised the online reviews aren't good. I decided to disregard and try anyway. And I have no regrets. I was immediately greeted. The nurse the saw me was extremely attentive. At one point, she was hustling between 3 rooms at once. I heard her shout to a coworker "can you do vitals in room 1 (my room)" while she was helping someone else. That person never came. So she checked on me after a few minutes and came to do it herself. Dr Hammond saw me. She was great! She took the time to listen to me and even explained everything. I've had 3 min Dr Appointments before.. and they suck. You feel like they don't care. Not here. She even followed up a few days later to check on me. I have the lowest end Bright Health plan. So I get 2 Dr visits a year. Every other office I called wanted to take 1 of my 2 visits for a "new patient exam" and wanted me to wait 3 months. Miramont took me right away and no issues. So happy I found my new Dr's office! read more

They keep sending us bills that our insurance is paying and our insurance company is saying that it has been paid and they are not allowed to send us a bill. Also, after reviewing the bill, they are charging our insurance company for several items that were never preformed. This is why everyone's premiums are so high. Please go somewhere else. read more

I have been with this practice for 6 months now. I have been extremely patient with the process until now, but it has been 9 days since I've been able to get my medication and I was just informed that they are too busy to do anything for me. It will be a minimum of 3 business days until they can help me. Not including a holiday weekend in that 3-day span. So in other words I am not going to get any help with my medication until after I have gone 2 weeks without it. read more

WOW I wish I had read these reviews before I went. I had an ongoing issue with lightheadedness so went here the day my new health insurance kicked in as it was the only place I could find with a same-day appointment on Zoc Doc. The facility itself is gorgeous- modern, warm and inviting. The CSR at the front desk... less so. I explained it was my first time visiting there and she was not super helpful in walking me through the process. Read off my insurance information as my physical card had not arrived yet and she acted as though this were a foreign concept. After realizing she had all of the information she needed we completed the check in process successfully. The doctor I saw was really nice and friendly (hence the extra star), which put me at ease at first. I debated writing this review (and actually visited the practice a month ago so it's been a while of consideration) because I liked her as a person a lot. But as a doctor I felt confused by her. She repeated almost every question she asked me, never remembering my answers. Her communication with the technicians/nurses was nonexistent- at first she wasn't even aware I was in the room and then I actually had to let a technician know she wanted my resting and standing blood pressure tested as she had failed to communicate this to them. She had a full blood panel ran as lightheadedness can be attributed to a number of things and eventually I was diagnosed and sent with discharge instructions written in pen on a paper towel. Yes, on a paper towel. I decided to wait for my blood results to see what was wrong which were sure to come the next day. I work at an animal hospital, for our dogs we get results the next day. When I logged into their portal to see if they were received yet I saw a message from the doctor saying should expect results in 1-2 weeks. WHAT?! I've never even heard of this wait time. I was really scared about what might be going on with me and now I had to wait ONE TO TWO WEEKS to get answers? The doctor clearly did not share my concern. After two weeks with no phone calls, emails, or portal updates I called the office. I was put on hold and the receptionist came back on to let me know everything was fine. Seriously, after two weeks of waiting to be sure I was okay the results were in the whole time and nobody had bothered to notify me after a $550 blood panel? She asked if I would like to make my results available to me on the portal and already beyond irritated I just said yes. The doctor was nice enough to write out a quick note in there to the effect of "sorry didnt call labs look good". NEEDLESS TO SAY WILL NOT RETURN read more

I seriously cannot understand the negative reviews, seeing them made me hesitant to go here. But I decided to go and form my own opinion. I am so glad that I did. I was able to get an appointment the very next day which is not so easy to do in Parker. The wait time was less than 5 minutes. The receptionist was nice, courteous and helpful. When I went into the exam room, the nurse was there in less than a minute, was very professional and friendly. The Doctor was also friendly, took her time listening to my concerns, answered everything I asked thoroughly and came up with an agreeable plan for my health. Another plus is that they have a pharmacy right there in the building, also with very friendly staff. All around a pleasant visit. They are my new primary care physicians. read more

I haven't had a medical office be so welcoming and easy to work with. Lisa Hammonds at the Parker location has been nothing short of a Saint for me. It was finally someone I was able to tell what I had going on and knew way more than I did. It's very comforting knowing how knowledgeable and understanding she is. I finally felt I was treated and helped not just a number to get through. I can't say enough good things about Miramont with the mvp program and the staff I've interacted with. If I could give this business a zero rating I would also. I just found out another more profound reason to yelp Miramont Family Medicine in Parker than the Mussolini complex of the Nurse Practitioner who runs it, Amber Abrams (she's like Church Lady in a white coat--"Well, have we been keeping up with our vaccinations?"). I had my blood drawn recently for cobalt/chromium toxicity because of the recalled metal hip replacement that is inside me. They insisted that I have my blood drawn at THEIR lab, Lab Corps in Boulder. I should have been wiser. In 2011 my cobalt level tested by another provider was 2.3 (it shouldn't be higher than .19). In 2013 it was high at 3.1 (tested also by another provider). Miramont tested my chromium in 2015 and it was high at 4.2 (it shouldn't be higher than 1)--it was tested at the lab of MY choice. In 2016 they insisted I go to THEIR lab of choice, Lab Corps in Boulder. Ha. The results are rigged, and they are dinking around with decimal points so there won't be incriminating fingers pointing at their buddy orthopedic surgeons. Lab Corps has changed the "expected" or reference range of cobalt levels to THREE (again, it should NOT be higher than .19), and has changed the expected/reference range of chromium levels also to THREE, when it shouldn't be higher than 1.0. These people are crooks--IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE DO NOT GO TO THEM FOR ANY REASON!!! read more

I was really bummed when Dr. Patton retired, but then I met Lisa Hammond. She is truly a compassionate professional that takes the time to listen to you, and she sincerely wants to help you! I had to have a follow-up appointment with my primary care after visiting urgent care and being diagnosed with pneumonia. I called the office and as usual, was able to make an appointment around my time - the office is always very accommodating to my hectic schedule (plus I love that you can just walk in for shots without an appointment!). Lisa was very thorough and gave me the all clear, plus she asked me if there was anything else she could help me with. That is such a rare event in today's busy world - especially in health care! My past doctor experiences have been you are rushed through appointments, and typically, never asked such open-ended questions about your health! I shared some of my health struggles, and she made some recommendations, and she also suggested a follow-up appointment for a physical, where she could do some tests to get to the bottom of my issues. I was able to see Lisa a couple weeks later and she spent so much time with me, going over my history, surgeries, struggles, etc. Not one time did I feel rushed, and I actually felt like she was someone who was genuinely interested in me as a human being AND she wanted to help me get better! She ran a full CBC, and actually tested my thyroid further to see if it was causing my issues. I've had my thyroid checked so many times by many Drs, only to have it come back "normal". Lisa ran additional test and found that I do have issues with my thyroid, and she has me on a plan now for better health! No other Dr took these steps to help me! All I can say is WOW! Lisa is amazing and I am very grateful that I met her!! I highly recommend seeing her at the Parker location! She loves what she does and it shows! read more

Eek. I can't believe I'm giving praise to a place with a solid over star rating but here goes.. I've seen my Dr at this location 2 times now, and haven't had any of the problems mentioned by other Yelpers. Dr Patton has been my primary care physician for a few years now, and I've followed her to different practices, which brought me here. My interactions with the front desk and assistants have always been pleasant. The facility is clean and they are are able to do labs, x-rays, fill prescriptions as well as perform minor procedures. The only negative experiences I've had were actually due to ZocDoc, when I tried to schedule online. It told me it was scheduled but then when I arrived I wasn't booked. Dr Patton was able to see me anyways, which I appreciated considering I drive 20 miles to this location just to see her. I'm also not a fan of the electronic tablets. While they say they are anti microbial, I feel squeamish using them. I always load up on the hand sanitizer afterwards! I'm sorry that so many others had such a bad experience here, but that truly hasn't been the case for me. read more

I just finished spending over an hour at the Pharmacy (with a screaming toddler no less) because the Dr. I saw today gave me a paper prescription with not only the incorrect prescribing Dr. listed but also the Name Address and date of birth of a totally different patient... I gave this practice four stars a few years ago, but we have since left and I would discourage anyone else from going. On two separate occasions my infant was given medication too strong for her. We had a vaccination given by the receptionist, and finally a prescription was made for my infant that our pharmacist refused to fill because she said the drug was way too intense for my daughter's age. Believe the bad reviews. Do a Google search of Miramont Family Medicine, and you will see a multitude of bad reviews for every Miramont location from patients and current/former employees. Ulyana, who claimed to be a doctor over the phone, told me to "drop by" during after hours to chat with Alexandra, the PA at this practice. As instructed by the FDA, I needed to talk to Alexandra for 3-5 minutes to report side effects of a prescription, and get documentation of it. She is a young and inexperienced PA and did not discuss issues that may occur with the medicine she prescribed. I drop by (the parking lot is completely empty, and there are no patients in the office). Alexandra won't talk without an appointment. The receptionist says an after hours appointment must be made so they can charge insurance. We have already met our deductible so it wouldn't have mattered...but why charge insurance for a quick convo to report a side effect? The receptionist calls Ulyana, and Ulyana now says an appointment needs to be made for the PA to come out and speak to me. She is cold and dishonest. After refusing to let her file a claim, she tells me they could give me a printout of the previous visit for $18. If you want quality care from an honest, caring office and medical staff, look elsewhere. We chose this office, despite the bad reviews, thinking it would be a simple doctor's visit to get a prescription. If you need further contact (prescription refill, test results, answer to a question about a previous appointment, report side effects), you will not get the service without wasting a lot of time, spending more money, and probably both. This is, in part, due to the nature of their business structure. They boast how they have driven consistent 45% growth in business articles. That's great, but not when it is at the expense of the patient and their health. Giving quality care means you actually care about your patients, not just their money. I recommend doing your research and setting appointments with a specific doctor. There are reviews on the internet for doctor offices and most every doctor. You'll find out a lot about this practice with a quick search. You'll also see that there are great doctors just as close in Parker and Lone Tree. read more

Billing department is absolutely horrendous. Spoke with someone regarding an issue with my bill. We agreed on an amount to clear my account. I called to pay said amount yet I continued to receive bills, now with late fees and threats of collection. I have called and left at LEAST 10 messages for the billing department without one word back. I finally spoke with a human by telling the automated system I needed to schedule an appointment. She said she would have someone call me. Still nothing. Called again and was told no one recalls speaking with me about said arrangement. I left a message with the billing manager, hoping she would return my call. Nothing. Just received another bill from this visit 8 months ago. No one will answer phones or return my call. read more

My first time here was back in December and I had such a wonderful experience from making an appointment via ZocDoc to the customer service I received from the front desk and especially from Dr. Laura Patton. Everyone was just uber friendly and very professional. Dr. Laura Patton is such a sweet and caring doctor that actually cares a lot about her patients and treats them like family. We were glad to find an affordable subscription medical office in Parker. However, when my husband went in with debilitating pain his doctor at Miramont was apathetic, didn't ask questions, and after a cursory look told him it was an infection and prescribed him antibiotics and antifungal medications. Fast forward a couple days with no improvement and my husband went to another practice for a second opinion. There (NOT AT MIRAMONT) he received compassion and immediate and effective action to address his pain, which were not going to be helped by the meds prescribed by Dr. Dickman at Miramont. I'm not sure whether he will cancel his subscription, especially since we already paid for the year, but he will definitely be requesting a different physician for his next visit. read more

I have always had good experiences with this location over the past several years, and with different doctors. The staff is quite cheerful and welcoming, and my interactions with Dr. Dickman have been satisfactory. The stand-alone location makes parking and access very convenient. My biggest compliments go to their efficiency and respect for the patient's time. I've always been able to get an appointment in short order, and when there, x-rays, blood draws, etc. are handled in house and without excessive delay. They also have an on-site pharmacy that has very reasonable prices. Overall, a fine place for medical care. read more

I don't usually post Yelp reviews, but I thought this place was getting some unfair attacks from emotional people. I was scheduled for an appointment for a physical, blood work, and a womanly check up. I waited in the waiting room only 15 minutes. The receptionist was professional and friendly. Dr Laurie Patton came highly recommended, and I have now been back multiple times. She was intelligent and knowledgable and talked through issues with me rather than blindly telling me what to do. I have also worked at a clinic in the past and know that not everything goes right 100% of the time, so if your appointment starts late because someone's child ahead of you has a fever, then it's your duty as a human being to be patient and understanding. I did overhear two people in the waiting room (they weren't talking too quietly) saying how they were upset about not being able to get Vicodin. This is one thing that does make me upset. Some people legitimately need pain medicine. But, the sad majority have gotten addicted and troll doctors for pain medicine, then get upset and call the doctors' boss when the doctor tells them it's not good for them. Some practices make a living off of giving pain meds to patients who don't need them. Miramont does not seem to be one of them. I am happy to support a practice that withholds its morals even in the face of losing patients. read more

Doctor Laura Patton is great. They have a pharmacy inside and can have medication ready just at the end of your visit. It is hard to find with a GPS but once you've been there before it's not hard. The layout and design of the building is flawless read more

I called Miramont to inquire about a rx refill and spoke to Julianna. She informed me that I could not get a refill becausr I was not seen "this year". I was seen in November (9 months ago)...close enough right? Nope, she said I had to be seen to get the refill even though I explained that I have been with this practice and on this medicine for 6 years, always with an annual refill. Nope, sorry, you're out of luck she says. I asked to speak with my doctor, she refused. I asked for a nurse, she refused. I asked for her boss, she said she has no boss. What a dream job, playing God over patients with no boss to answer to! I am so disappointed in this experience and use it as a cautionary tale for others. Avoid this practice! I have been very sick (flu) for 6 days now. I just came back from one week in the Bahamas and one week in Florida. Both ways I had lay overs in Dallas Fort Worth. I have missed this whole week of work since returning from vacation. It is Friday and I decided to finally call the Dr. because I have not slept AT ALL in the last two nights. Been coughing and throwing up too hard. The reason I mention TX is that people have been dying there from the flu. I call to make an appt. with Dr. Meyer this morning and I tell the receptionist I've been sick for 6 days and I had been hoping it would be better but it's only getting worse. She told me I would have to wait until Monday. WTF? Don't doctors make room for emergencies and don't they know people are dying from the flu. I will not return to this office. We moved here 3 years ago this place was the one and only place we could find that would take new patients I know why..... Over the course of 3 years they have lost records, misplaced paperwork, have ran 45+ minutes late every visit. Front desk ladies seem to be on a revolving door and have little knowledge of even how to book an appointment, if they do they will loose it. My kids have both been turned away when the in need of medical attention. Again tonight for the 3 rd time we showed up with 30 minutes of closing with severe abdominal pain. RUN from Miramont Family Medicine. Worst doctors ever. The staff made fun of my disability at the very first appointment. I broke down in tears and asked them to stop. They never did. They treated me and my family with a level of rudeness that is astonishing. The medical care was terrible. I went to several locations, including this one, and they were all nasty. I finally quit going when they nearly killed me. They not only never helped, they actually medically harmed me and nearly killed me. RUN from this clinic as fast and as far as you can. read more

This is the worst clinic I've ever been to! My first visit at this office I had a wellness checkup by PA Rebecca . She never asked me to disrobe for a physical...which means she did not check for possible skin cancer. This last week I saw 3 different providers for one problem. That means I've seen 2 different PAs and one doctor in one week period. How do you get consistency care when you see a different PA or doctor every visit? It's run like a factory. They don't return calls either. Avoid this office if you want consistent, effective care....terrible ! read more
