My experience with Mirage Law began with confidence, but it has become a very frustrating process because of filing errors and a lack of communication. I have been dealing with this tenant situation since March 2026. When I first called Mirage Law, I left a message, and attorney Ariel returned my call within minutes. He explained the process clearly, and I trusted what he told me, especially his assurance that I would be kept informed about the eviction of the tenants from my property. On May 27, 2026, I made the payment to the law office to begin the process. I submitted all the documents they requested and made it clear from the beginning that my lease was in Spanish. I provided the information carefully to help avoid delays. However, according to what I was told, the case was filed incorrectly, and the documents sent to the tenant were in English, requiring us to restart the process. Here is the timeline of my case: * June 16, 2026: The tenant was personally served with the documents. * July 1, 2026: The deadline for the tenant to file an answer. * July 8, 2026: The court overruled the tenant's demurrer. * August 25, 2026: The hearing took place. The tenant did not appear, and the court ruled in my favor. * August 27, 2026: The judgment was entered, and the request for a writ of possession was submitted. * September 11, 2026: Errors in the writ were reported, and corrections were needed. * September 16, 2026: The writ was still under review. * September 17, 2026: I was informed that the writ had been issued and sent to the sheriff. * September 25 and 28, 2026: I was still waiting for the sheriff to schedule the eviction. * October 5-9, 2026: I sent several emails to Mirage Law requesting an update. As of the time I am writing this review, I have received no response. Throughout this process, my calls have gone unanswered, and I have had to contact the court directly to find out what was happening with my case. I learned about a filing error from the court, rather than from Mirage Law. As of October 9, 2026, more than four months have passed since I paid the law office, and I am still waiting for the eviction to be completed without the communication I was promised. Meanwhile, I continue paying the mortgage on my home while dealing with tenants who are not paying rent. This has created a significant financial and emotional burden. I do not know the reason for the lack of attention, but it has made me feel that my case is not a priority. I hired Mirage Law expecting careful handling of my case, timely responses, and consistent updates. My experience so far has fallen far short of those expectations. read more

I worked with Ariel and his associates to remove a deadbeat tenant from a rental property. At the time, I'd already had a bad experience with a different firm that cost me both money and time so when I looked the second time I called several firms, got estimates, worked to understand their timelines, etc. When I spoke with Ariel, I was impressed with his knowledge of the process and timelines but what really made me decide to go with him was the passion and conviction with which he spoke about making sure that my tenant would pay, literally and figuratively. I had a strong case and he seemed to hear and respond to my deep feeling of injustice and the need to right a wrong. He convinced me that he would stay on top of everything and ensure that my delinquent tenant would. To go into all the details would make this review incredibly long but the short version is once I paid the retainer and was secured as a client, I barely heard from him. I mostly dealt with the assistant/paralegals who seemed to be doing most of the work, including responding to my emails which Ariel routinely ignored. I never met Ariel and when we finally went in front of a judge, he sent a colleague in his place (which he never mentioned was happening even the day before). Regardless of the facts of my case, I was convinced by Ariel's proxy attorney, to settle rather than go to court. Because both the courts and sheriff's department are backed up, I was told that going to court could push my tenant moving out for another six months. This possibility felt like an actual nightmare to me so, even though I didn't want to, I settled. No one mentioned to me ahead of time how backed up the court system was or gave me any information about what to expect going into court. In hindsight, I wish I'd had more time to decide and a more thoughtful discussion with my attorney. I don't feel satisfied with the decision I was pressed to make with very little time or information. I've followed up with other questions since my judgement and, a week later, still haven't heard back from Ariel. After spending several thousand dollars, I received a judgment that I'm not especially satisfied with. If I had it to do over again, I personally would've gone with another firm. They were efficient and if you're just looking for an attorney to serve the unlawful detainer, they handled that piece fine but the communication left much to be desired and my the actual court day was a big letdown for me. read more

Then told me they would update me the next day, but a week went by and I had to follow up with them. They didnt respond for two weeks and when they finally did they did not do what they said they were gonna do and instead tried to get me to give them 5K for nothing. Do not use them. read more

Ariel was able to get my tenant out within a reasonable amount of time in the City of Los Angeles. It's extremely hard to evict in the City of LA. He even had my tenant sign an agreement to pay back the delinquent rent within one year. Not sure it will happen because the tenant is homeless but at least I have my rental home back in my possession and the tenant might get a job and start working again and maybe pay it back if I'm lucky. Also this firm charges very fair prices based on how much work is involved. Other firms wanted thousands before they would even speak to me. One attorney said she would give me a 20 minute consultation over the phone for $250.00 and then if I decided to hire her it was another $7,500.00. read more
