I believe this was the mail shop I went to based on instagram and Facebook photos. I took a picture of what I wanted and it was terrible. Shop was clean but they weren't using sterilized equipment. I made them get one and open in front of me and they were less than pleased. I wish I could find the pics of what I wanted and what I actually received. I let them know I want happy but I paid because I was given the service and my nails not being exactly what I wanted does not need to effect someone's income. read more

Outstanding visit today, we got the deluxe mani and pedi. Then we opted for an eyebrow wax. The shop is clean and the staff so nice. I am highly satisfied with the results and totally will go back. They put alot of thought into their place. For example, the massage chair control is actually understandable, so many times you go to places and it's impossible to figure out the chair controls. Also, when they do the pedi you can recline all the way back in the chair and relax, then when you are ready for the pedi, they turn an overhead precision light in the ceiling so the nail tech can clearly see your hands. They offered us sodas or water, we declined but it's a nice gesture. With so much competition among nail salons, this one is one of the best ones I have seen in San Antonio. I popped in as a walk-in during peak hours, I was seated for service within 10 mins. The nail tech was professional and very nice. My pedicure was great, the hot stones are not too hot to the point of causing pain. They're the perfect temp. They offer complimentary drinks including red and white wine. Great staff. read more

The service here is amazing as you going into the business they welcome you. The quality of everything they do is done at their 100%. Richard is my favorite nail tech. He does his job with such great attitude and he is very thorough in every step of the way. I love the outcome of my nails and appreciate that Richard takes his time and makes me feel special. After a long day of work I appreciate that I'm always taken care of. The atmosphere is family like and all the nail techs seem to feel comfortable with their clients. I've been in San Antonio 6 months and I've been looking for the right place to get my regular pedicure. I've visited a couple places that were ok but the last place was a little too drill happy (removing old gel polish) so under my perfectly beautiful pedicure were split nails (both great toes). So I continued my search while waiting for my nails to grow out. This place was just over a mile from my home with great reviews so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm diabetic so I started off letting Joann know this and my request for no razors/files and to be careful when trimming. She thanked me for giving her a heads up and proceeded to provide TLC to my feet. I think she even massaged out an ache I had in my heel from a pair of Nike shoes that caused me some grief. I had a really great experience here and I'll definitely be back especially if I can have Joann as my nail tech. She was awesome. The place was clean and staff professional. I was almost Ed tempted to have a glass of wine. Maybe next time. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Unsanitary, filthy, should have never came here. I went to get a pedicure here and regret it deeply. She was extremely rough and at one point was using the callous remover on the TOP of my foot which obviously hurts. The polish job was terrible but I didn't want to complain. I noticed they were using the "cheese grater" on other patrons which is very illegal and unsanitary. After about a day or two my feet began to get itchy but I thought nothing of it, over the next couple of days it's spread and I have red itchy bumps from my knees below. I thought I would call to express my concern and give them an opportunity to either implement better practices and ease my mind. The manager is a nightmare she basically told me it's impossible for a nail salon to give you any bacteria or fungal infection. Impossible? I was kind to her but was met with attitude as she told me if I got something from them why is it on my shins now, obviously they work not just on the feet. Towards the end of our nightmare conversation she stated I could come get cream from her to stop it that she has. So now she wants to give a cream she's not authorized to give me on my "made up" condition. Please avoid at all cost, they're cheap for a reason. Save your money and visit to the urgent care for prescription cream! read more

Ali does a fabulous job with my nails. I've been getting the powered dip on my natural nails and they are so much stronger now. I have yet to have a nail break or chip. She is a master at knowing how to shape your nails and takes her time to make each one look great. They do take appointments here but I've never had to wait long even on a busy Saturday. read more

I've been going here for years and the services and atmosphere is always exceptional. My most recent visit was no exception! I went in a few weeks ago to get a dip mani for Halloween. They were able to take me as a walk-in and seat me almost immediately. I decided to go all out for the holiday. Bryan did an amazing job start to finish! I think I found my new favorite nail salon! The receptionist greeted me & helped me check in. My nail tech, Mia, walked me to my seat and gave my a bin of color options. They had over 100 shellac color options - I already have my eye on a pretty green color for spring. I got the deluxe pedicure and it was wonderful. Mia took her time, perfected my nails, and gave an amazing calf massage. I will definitely be back! read more

I have been going for about 2 years. She tried to say you can have negative skin reactions from Chemo and Radiation. I interpreted her and advised it's none of her business but with the Cancer I have NEVER had chemo or radiation. Then she was very defensive and said again, I am trying to get the bottom of this but I don't see on your file that we have ever waxed your face, just your brows. I have never had my brows waxed by them. I get my brows threaded. We argued and DENISE HUNG UP ON ME. I sent her a text the next day since she had texted me asking for clarity if they will not wax someone who has Cancer? I told her I wanted closure on the conversation since she hung up on me. I have extremely sensitive skin with areas of thinning that repeated passes/rips with soft wax causes tearing and is extremely painful/uncomfortable following the treatment. This is not the fault of my amazing waxologist - it's a poor business model by the company. If they would use hard wax for Brazilians/customer preference, I would give it 5 stars.
