She was patient, supportive, and seemed to genuinely care about my well-being. There were times when I felt some conversations were a bit rushed, though that may have been influenced by the fact that it often takes me longer to process and express my thoughts and feelings. Overall, I had a positive experience working with her and appreciated the support she provided during our time together. One area that left me feeling somewhat conflicted was when I requested documentation for an Emotional Support Animal (ESA). After we had both agreed that I was in a stable place and no longer needed regular sessions, I felt some pressure to continue scheduling appointments. While I understand the importance of ongoing care and professional considerations, the interaction felt inconsistent with our earlier discussions about concluding treatment.

I highly recommend Lisa if you're looking for a therapist who is kind, wise, firm, smart, and…read morecompassionate. She made me feel at home during our sessions. She uses a variety of methodologies and techniques, flexibly incorporating the one best suited to the problem at hand and seeing what works well for each client. In sessions with her was the first time I felt like I was actively participating in the act of healing wounds, not just learning to work around them. I only stopped sessions with her because I moved out-of-state, and I wish I could still work with her.

Finding a therapist is an strange mix, of science and magic. Lisa has the education, experience,…read moreand training that is essential for a provider, but combines it with caring, encouragement, and most importantly effective counseling. She has a background in trauma that was the key to helping me unlock my potential and begin to manage my anxiety disorder. Liking your therapist is important, but making progress is vital. With Lisa's help I was able to have the best of both worlds. I was her patient for almost three years and, participated in a women's trauma group for a year. The time was a life changing investment, and I no longer feel the need for weekly appointments, although I consider myself a life long patient, knowing that I can and most likely will return for checkups,or help through a difficult time. I know people who have had awful experiences with therapy, or who love their therapist but have been going for years and are still struggling with the same problems. When I started my treatment with Lisa I was enduring life, I was depressed and a victim of my anxiety. That is not the case today. I have days that I may struggle, but I enjoy life now. I feel very lucky to have found in Lisa someone who cared and listened with kindness and empathy, but also had the skill to teach me how to make real progress in managing my mental health.

I have truly had nothing but frustration and high blood pressure every time I have to deal with someone from this office. The nurse is incompetent and sugary phony sweet. They are refusing to see my children until June 1st even though they are both on needed medications that will run out prior to June 1st. These medications were prescribed by their organization. They failed to make an appointment on our last visit and told my husband that we could just call. I called over a month ago and the soonest they could give us was June 1st because they only have ONE DOCTOR that prescribes medications and she is only there TWICE a month. It appears that this doctor can't handle the patient load. This is not the first time we have had problems with them. The last time it was because the doctor quit and they did not have a doctor for awhile. I would like to add that the therapy team is excellent. I just wish they worked for someone other than Pathways. I will continue our relationship with them because of the relationship the boys have with their therapist and their behaviorist.
